Private Messages and Avatars

I discovered something that may help with the avatar situation. In the FAQ section, it appears that profile pictures and avatars are different. I was able to upload a profile picture using this link:

http://www.thecathenation.com/forum/profile.php?do=editprofilepic

Here is a different link I found to upload an avatar:

http://www.thecathenation.com/forum/profile.php?do=editavatar

It appears that this option has not been enabled for all users. When I go to that page, the only option available is "do not use an avatar." I hope this helps!

My private message box is 100 percent full. The other forums did not have a message limit. Is this permanent or a bug? If it is here to stay, what is the limit? It is based on the number or size of the messages?

thanks!! i hope they fix it soon b/c i went and resized several pictures thinking i wasn't getting an avatar b/c of the size although its showing up on my profile page.

I have my avatar ready to go and I would really love to use a jpg image as a signature...
