Changing my email address

SNM,
I'm having trouble changing my email address here on the forum. My internet provide has changed names and I changed the email in my User CP. I'm suppose to get a verification email and nothing comes so I can't activate my account. I even checked my spam and nothing. I changed it to reflect my work email and that worked ok and I got the verification email.

Why can't I get that verification email with my new email address account?

More than likely your ISP is blocking it from ever reaching you thinking it is spam. The other possibility is you might have had a typo in your email address and not realized have it.

I checked my spam and it wasn't in there. I did this three times so I'm sure one of those three times the email address was typed in right.

If your ISP blocks the email it will not appear in your spam folder. Your ISP is the first security gate that an email has to go through. Once through this gate your system will determine if an email goes to your inbox or junk folder. In your case your email from us is probably being rejected by your ISP and is never making it through the first security gate.
