I have been using the nutrition manager for a few days now and really enjoy it. Does anyone have any tips on simplifying entering, let's say a meal that you make from a recipe from like Clean Eating or Cooking Light?
They give you some of the nutritional stats in the recipe and to shorten the process I was contemplating just entering the recipe as a "custom food". I am not sure if this will really work...so far I have been entering the full recipe, but that is very time consuming.... any one have any thoughts or want to share any tips? thanks Chris |

It doesn't look like anyone ever responded to your plea for help. I'm not a subscriber to that service, just recently rejoined Weight Watchers myself and looking for Catheites to thread with there. I am curious about this program b/c it is certainly less expensive than WW but I know how frustrating it can be to get journaling and then not be able to add items easily. And I like to cook out of Cooking Light, Eating Well, WW, and similar sources too. Eating clean shouldn't have to be boring plain protein, steamed veggies and bland grains all the time. So I'm curious if you've discovered a workaround and recommend this program for tracking... Regards,

You can enter the recipe as a custom food but you would have to know the vitamin, mineral, calories etc for the whole recipe. Then add it as a favorite.
