Need help on weekly meals

Hi everyone! I'm going to start watching what I eat and start eating healthy now, and was wondering how many times a week should I consume meat, seafood etc? I was planning for dinners to be like 3 days a week meat (chicken, turkey, etc) 2 days a week seafood, 2 days pasta. Does this seem ok to loose weight and tone up?

Is there a great book that gives hints on this kind of stuff? Thank you :)
