Default Weights needed for STS?

I'm going to start my first round of STS on Monday...super stoked about this

I only have dumbbells.....5, 8, 12, and 15's. I plan on getting 20's for Christmas and hopefully 12's too!

Will I need heavier weights? Any other equipment needed?

Thanks in advance for any suggestions

Have you done your 1 rep max's yet? That will help you determine how heavy you will need for your dumbells. Some of the exercises use a barbell, but I am sure dumbells can be subsituted.
There are a bunch of us starting on Monday. Join our group if you would like! The more the merrier!

Thanks for the reply! I'll have to do that.

Yes----I would LOVE to join your group I'm new to posting on the forums. Is there a specific thread to join for that group?

That should work for meso 1, but don't be surprised if you need heavier weights for mesos 2 and 3. I wouldn't skimp on buying the iron if you want maximum results. A barbell can be a good investment because of the flexibility of making different weights. If your goal is to build muscle, try to do the program as planned using your true 1RM.

Thanks! I'll have to check into buying a barbell....seems like it would be well worth it
