Default STS Meso 3 - Plyo Legs or Squat Rack Routine

Hello,

I haven't even started STS but which routine should I do (Plyo Legs or Squat Rack) if my main goal is to trim my thighs and backside?

thanks!

Plyo, I'd think. It's more endurance, where Squat Rack is all about the strength. When I do Meso 3, I do both. Plyo on one day and Squat Rack on another - just because I love leg workouts and plyo exercises are fantastic for runners.

I also do both, in part because I have a leverage machine that allows me to do unassisted heavy squatting, and its perfect for STS. I also find lifting easier then jumping, but that is my preference. I didn't get huge thighs, or bulk out, instead they were cut and defined which is what I want. The Plyo is tough stuff though!

LOL - this reminds me of the first time I did Plyo Legs. My dog thought my jumping was a signal that it was time for play and he knocked me off my step. That's when I decided I needed to convert my extra room into a workout room where I could close him out. I seriously love the Squat Rack routine. There's nothing quite like lifting really heavy - it feels so good. Can't wait to get to Meso 3 again!

I'm near the end of 2, I've noticed I am lifting way heavier than I did in 1.

JT - Congratulations on lifting heavier...I can't wait to get there (I'll be starting my 4th week of Meso 1 on Saturday. I'm loving the program so far.

MidgetDogg and Dirtdiva - Thanks for the advice. I think I will alternate as well since I also bought the weighted vest and also like lifting heavy.

Only finished 3 weeks but doing this program has made me realize I want to be as strong as I can be and my body is shaped the way it is shaped and I love it.

Just finished cycle 2, I plan to alternate the plyo and squat rack. I plan to use the weighted vest for other workouts. My weightload increased 20% again.

Default which vest?

I'll be starting Meso 3 next week. I was thinking of ordering the vest but wondered if I needed the 12-20 lb. or if I could get by with the 10 lb. After reading your posts I'm thinking of alternating between the two leg workouts also.

Thanks!
