Hey everyone!
I want to give STS a try but I don't have Plyo Legs. I never thought to get it because I have very bad knees, arthritis, degenerative disease issues, etc. For this same reason I am also not able to lift ultra-heavy anymore, opting instead for slightly higher reps and lower weights; Think Gym Styles, MM, or High Reps. Is STS, in particular Meso 3 Legs worth my time or should I sub-out another Cathe workout (or hit the gym to use the machines- I can heavy up with the machines without as much pain)? I want to rebuild some lost muscle but I MUST protect my knees above anything else. I have seen several specialists and all have cautioned me on going too heavy, especially for the lower body. My "disease" is soft tissue in nature and is in several joints. I want to try STS but I am concerned the Plyo is far too much impact but the Squat Rack version I won't be able to heavy up enough to make it worth while. Any thoughts would be helpful!

I have bad knees, too. What I did with plyo legs is: the weight sections I actually had no problem with; the plyo parts I would do either on no step when the step was involved, or in place (no twisting/turning). In some cases I would just swap out a non-impact exercise if I needed to. It's reasonably easy to modify. I totally think STS is worth it, even if you swap out other legs exercises entirely!
