Question Anyone tried STS with this rotation?

I am starting STS for the second time. The first time was about 2 years ago, after which I sold it, and then decided to buy it again. Anyway, since I am accustomed to working each body part 2 - 3 times a week, I thought of doing a rotation like this:
Mon. - STS Disc 1
Tues. - STS Disc 2
Wed. - STS Disc 3
Thurs. - Cardio
Fri. - Cardio
Sat. - Total Body Workout with Cardio & Weights
Sun - Rest

Then repeat with STS discs 4,5, & 6 and so on. If time allows, I could add some cardio in on Tuesdays to balance out the days cardio is done.

Has anyone tried something like this? What are your thoughts?

I'm doing this rotation:

Monday: STS Disc 1
Tuesday: Run a.m. STS Disc 2 p.m.
Wed: Run a.m.
Thu: STS Disc 3 p.m.
Fri: Run
Sat: Run STS Total Body
Sun: Run

I don't really have a complete rest day, but my weekday runs are only 30 minutes.

The Saturday workout is really tough, but I'm seeing how it works out. If I feel too worked out, I'll dump the STS Total Body on Saturdays. I actually just finished this and could eat the whole bowl of oranges I have on my counter.

Hey MidgetDogg(Donna) & HomeschoolMom ,

Is your run aerobic? or more sprint-like? Just wondering how that works out with recovery from the STS parts? I'm steadily increasing my treadmill workouts, by the time I get to running, I'll probably be off 3-day splits. Just curious as to how that works for you, or how you work it? Thought you may want to know to HsM.

Most days it's a moderate run, I'm building for distance to run a half marathon in May and a 25k in July. One day a week I do short sprints at the end of my run. The only time I've had trouble with an STS workout was last week when I did an STS Leg workout on the same day that I ran. Now I do the full leg workout on a no run day. I didn't have trouble with it today when I did STS Total Body, except I was really hungry when I finished.

Just a quick note (following Cathe's advice I got a few months back) to suggest doing the legs disc between the two upper body discs so you give it enough rest time. e.g. 1, 3, 2, 4, 6, 5 etc...

Chris.
