Default alternatives for chin ups and pull ups??

Please help me with these for MESO 1. Currently, I don't own the pull up bar.
I had seen a similiar post such as this but unable to locate.

I haven't done MESO 1 but I have had to modify chin-ups in the past at home. One option is to use resistance bands and hook them somewhere high and do lat pulldowns. You can also do modified chin-ups if you have the equipment. This web page has an example:

thanks, after some research, I ordered the STS push/pull up bar with new stretch bands. Cathe has the best stuff.

Great idea. The push/pull tower is on my 'wish list' ... shame the shipping to Australia makes it almost double the price.

Yeah, I got the tower after trying to use the resistance bands. Didn't work in my house and the tower is great when you get to Meso 3 for holding your heavy bar for bench presses and as a squat rack. Yo'll be very happy you made the investment.

Not good to put it together in the room you DON"T exercise in. I put it together only to take it partially apart again.
