Default Will I have time to shower on Sunday??

OK - kind of a gross question, but I'm a sweaty cat, with long hair to boot, and I'm really gonna NEED a shower after the Sunday morning class since I have a long flight and travel day in front of me (I won't get home until at least 8pm). According to the schedule, there is only a half hour between the last class and when the bus takes us to the diner for brunch. I will have to leave the bruch a bit early at 10:15 to get to the airport. So, I'm wondering will a half hour be enough time to grab a shower especially since there are so many of us and only 7 showers? If need be, would it be possible to walk to the diner from the gym in order to get a shower due to long lines? How does this usually pan out?

You won't have any issues showering on Sunday. Cathe's class ends at 8 and then a lot of people went back to their hotels to shower and checkout. My roommate and I showered at Cathe's gym (and didn't rush at all) and we got to the diner around 9:30 with plenty of time to spare.

Angie ~

I also think you will have time to shower if you need to. Diner is not close enough to walk to but maybe you could catch a ride with someone who is driving. I can tell you by Sunday those of us with cars were driving back & forth to the club so allow for more time. Good luck & have a blast!!

Angie, if you quickly run to the showers then, yes, you have time to shower, dress, and catch the bus to the Diner. Also, if you can find a ride to the Diner from the Club then you have time. However, if you don't have a ride and can't jump quickly in the shower, then I suggest you use baby wipes to take a poor woman's shower. This is what I did the entire weekend with no problems.

Hope this helps.

Im concerned about this too, as i have to leave the diner around 1045 to make it back to the airport. There is no way i can sit in my sweaty gear through breakfast and a plane ride. I'd offend whoever I was sitting next to on the plane. And the diner lol! I too sweat a lot and its not a pretty picture when I workout. Im sure we will get it all figured out though...

I do not know what is going to happen this year but I know last year Cathe offered an extended stretch at the end of Sunday's class. Some RTers left a little early to make sure they got their showers in. I know I am also a sweaty person when I workout so I want to make sure that I get a shower before I have to travel home. Forget other people having to be in a car with myself for my two hour drive home will be enough to motivate me to get a shower. lol

Even if you don't have time to take a shower, you do have time to change into fresh clothes and quickly do a sponge bath. I would be chilled to the bone if I left directly from Sunday's workout out to brunch.
