Xres......So it's Sunday.....

Cathlete
Hi ladies,
Just starting us up today. I had to get up early (5:15am) to get DH to the airport. He's leaving for Russia then we'll meet in MI Friday.
Today is Day 6, Week 12, Phase 3; so cardio. I have not decided yet what to do. Kenpo is out since the back would not take it. Might just do one of Cathe's hour long step, "without the step". We'll see.
I'll go back and read yesterday's posts and BBL for personnals. ;-)

OK I'm back. Yesterday we had tickets for the ballet (here in Lux) but ended up staying home nice and quiet. DH has had tons of problems with his new Blackberry (can't live a second without it...x( ) and we left home much later than expected for the seamstress. Once there it took almost 2 hours and then we had lunch (a late one at 3pm:eek: ). Then once back home we had of course to exercise. It was L&B for me and I managed to get through it very carefully although. With all the squats versions I had to be more careful. I canned the 80-20 Cyber speed squats. I also subbed a Pilates w/o for the ARX. I was not supposed to cook and order in but after the w/o I made a nice and easy tomatoe/basil sauce that we had with whole wheat pasta and a salad...and a glass of wine. Ladies this is my cheat day!!!!
I have to say that although I am used to it now, it was the hardest thing for me to let go. I had one glass of wine almost every day, sometimes 2. But it made such a difference that it's worth it.:*
Today is some cardio and probably a ball rolling session along the spine. I have to do a few tasks around the house, probably (should) some German (haven't touched it in almost a week...;( ) some scrapboking and perhaps a little house cleaning. Nothing fancy.

Debra~~ You remind me of DD about your grade. She only had 2 B's in all of her schooling so far. The last one she had,(and it was the final grade...;( ) she even emailed her professor to explain why it was so. Of course she never heard from him and she was so pissed...}( WOW! what a dream. You would not believe the ones I have sometimes...makes no sense whatsoever.:+ I am sorry you are not feeling any changes after dropping your meds. I sure hope this situation rectifies itself soon for your own sake. Again <<<<<HUGS and VIBES>>>>> to you. Thank you for your input about life after the X. I am taking all under consideration.

Sandra~~ I also have a bread machine in MI but of course have not used it for a while. I really miss the smell of fresh bread. Also the problem is that since we are only 3 people in the house, the bread does not stay fresh long enough. I share sometimes your confusion about weight/fat loss and heavy lifting. There is so much information out there and sometimes (no often) contradictory. What I know is that for the first time in 10 years I lost both the weight and BF I wanted with heavy lifting and less cardio. Even I had followed Cathe's rotations in the past, this is the first time I reached my goals. I don't know if also a 90 rotation is a big factor.

Laurie~~ CONGRATULATIONS....TRIPLE XERS...... MY HAT'S OFF TO YOU :eek: :eek: :eek:

Tracy~~ Sounds like you had a great w/o yesterday. So TraciX had relegated to you the task of "guiding" me through my next rotation...;-) Any idea? My own DS also does the X (he's 24). He had to stop for a while as he got a "pinky finger" injury while playing hockey. Got a puck right on it and for a while it was all gross and big and red and blue...x( But he started back in his Phase 2. You know although I am against back surgery (it set's you "back".... for so long) I have heard so many people that endured pain for so may years and once they had back surgery they were fine and pain free. I guess what complicates my case is that on top of my herniated disk at L5-S1 I also have a spondylolisthesis which is the slippage of one vertebra onto the one below it. Should they operate in the region of my condition, there are strong possibilities that is just keeps "slipping" into the next area.;( So because of that I've been avoiding surgery. I don't have any of Eion's w/o. I have a few from Stott Pilates that are Yoga/Pilates combination. I also just ordered a bunch from Collage, mainly Rodney Yee (tried Yoga Burn from DD's collection while in Germany) and Shiva. One of the w/o is a collaboration between the Mayo Clinic and Rodney Yee specifically for back pain. I will also order Traci's stretches as some deals specifically with back pain.

TraciX~~ Sounds like you had a great w/o yesterday. Talk about a mish mosh all right...:7 :7 :7 How in the world do you come with these combinations...lol:) I am glad you head is doing better. I think there's nothing worse than a migraine. Also thank you for your input about what life should be after the X... I appreciate it. ;-)

Wendy~~ How cute of DS to compliment you like that! Aren't they precious...:9 :9 :9 About the diet in Phase one, I must say I followed it almost to the T the first 2 weeks, then I kind of alternated between phase 2 and 1 as my energy was slowing down. right now I am struggling with too many carbs. I have to be more mindful of what I eat before putting it in my mouth. When I know there will be a "carb" meal like pasta, I should really focus on having more proteins the other 2 meals. I've had days where for example I would have cereals for breakfast (C), a turkey sandwich for lunch (more C) and pasta for dinner... ending up with 50-55% carbs. Too much and I feel hungrier when I do that. But back to phase one, I can suggest perhaps that you alternate between 1 and 2 every day or so.

Nicole~~ You know I can't keep any sweet in the house. It is my all time weakness. I can go by a chocolate or pastry counter and not give in. And here they are all over the place. When you go downtown, every other place is either a chocolate or pastry shop. But in the house....x( x( x( can't resist them. We've had gifts in the past when I would entertain and the next day...pouf...magically all disappeared. DH would say, did you eat all the chocolates or whatever we got...and like a little animal who knows he's been bad... I would say ...oups yes....;( ;( ;(

Jeanette~~ I am glad you are feeling better. And there is nothing wrong by taking an extra day off your w/o. We all know you'll be back stronger and ready to do battle.;) ;) ;) As for menopause, you are not being nosy at all. Yes I did go through menopause. I've had no TOOM for more than 2 years now and don't miss it a bit. I am on a low dose of hormones as my "night sweats" were keeping up night. I was tired all the time as I could not get decent sleep at night. DH was opposed to hormones but after a while seeing me tired all the time he relented. However my doctor won't keep me on for more than 5 years, so I have 2 1/2 more years of reprieve. Hopefully they'll be gone by then.

<<<<<HUGS and KISSES>>>> to all the others. I shall see you later.
It's workout time.x(

Good early *&%!@ morning. I hate the start of daylight savings time.

Christiane....Do you change your clocks for DST in Europe? You're so close to finishing Round 1! If you're not sure what to do after the X, well, you can always do Round 2! Are you going to try the new Plus workouts? I think IntervalX+ might be nicer on your back than PlyoX. The plus weight workouts are wonderful. Someone on the open discussion described them thus: they won't build overall muscle mass, but they do require strength to do them. I agree with that. They've got more of a functional strength feel to them, rather than out and out lifting to build muscle mass.

Tracy....I'm glad to know I'm not the only one who finds all this fitness information contradictory. I think I found a solution: my fat loss rotation that I mocked up ages ago is very similar to the modified Feb '08 rotation. If I add a cardio session to Saturday's Feb '08 rotation, I'll have essentially the same thing, but with heavy lifting included (which I really enjoy). So, I think I'll do that. My week will have 4 cardio sessions, of varied lengths and intensities, one endurance/functional fitness lifting session, and one round of heavy weight split sessions (GS and SH). Plus core 3x a week. If the snow keeps melting as fast as it is, I might be able to add a Saturday run back into my week (Cardio Coach! Yay!). That should keep me happy. That was a really nice low-impact cardio session you did yesterday. How does your back handle all the straight leg kicking that's in one of the LIC blasts?

Debra....Are you doing SH Tri and Bi's today, too? I've thought about your extra 2 pounds, and honestly can't think of an answer. It doesn't make sense that if you haven't changed your eating, and you've done a lean rotation, that you gained 2 pounds of anything: muscle or fat! I'd have thought that at the very least you'd lose a pound or two of muscle, since you were lifting heavy before that. How long have these 2 pounds been hanging around? Is it possible that you're holding onto more water, since you cut your kidney medication? SH only moved too slow for me this week because I went into PMS Power Mode on Friday, and had waaay too much energy for SH!! I started taking fish and flax oil yesterday and by the end of the day was feeling much more settled. I think I need to focus on eating for mood regulation. At Traci's recommendation I bought Women's Bodies, Women's Wisdom yesterday, and found another book called The Ultimate Omega 3 Diet. I think they'll both be very helpful.

Wendy....Did you see that? Traci put us each in a corner. We got in trouble :( Ooooh, I have Platemates. They're ridiculously expensive, but invaluable when doing heavy weight training. Are you still doing a pull/chin up when you walk into your bedroom? That was a good point you made about bulking up being water weight (see? I can play nice). I'd forgotten about that. My understanding of STS is that they will be providing some kind of structured guideline as to what/how much cardio to add in. I'm guessing it will be something like "Monday: Hight Intensity cardio of choice: eg. Imax. I love that we have flexibility of choice in that regard. I'm more likely to stick with it if I can modify it to suit my mood that day.

Traci....How's the head today? Your cardio yesterday sounds fun, and intense! Core Cardio didn't come with my 10MT, darn it all. I really wanted that one. Are the moves similar to Core Syn? Have fun at the baby shower today. How do you know the expectant parents? Friends? Relatives? Expecting a new baby was such an exciting time in my life; I wish I could be expectant without having to raise a child LOL!!

Kim....I am beyond jealous that you have friends with which to run (is that more grammatically correct than saying "friends to run with"?). I see women running in a pack and wish I could join along. I have one friend who attempts to start a running program every so often, but refuses to workout with me. I think she feels self-conscious about her fitness level. I really like the new set. Of course, when I'm working out I barely look at the screen or seem to notice these things, so it really doesn't matter. The only set I've really objected to is one of Christi Taylor's, where she has balloons all over the place. Balloons belong at a children's b-day party, not in an exercise video for grown women. Yes, I'm anti-balloon for grown ups. Call me a sour puss, if you must.

Nicole....Your sister may be a size 4, but I'm sure her innards are inflammed and hardening like a rock from all her saturated fat intake :) . That's what I tell myself when I see skinny people eating crap. It makes me feel better.

Jeanette....How are you feeling today? Any improvement in the war on germs? You're extremely sensitive to salt, aren't you? When DH seasons meat, does he use lots of salt? How'd your Friday night dinner go over, with your parents and Grandma? I love it that Grandma's got the munchies now. Check out my response to Tracy, above, about my fat loss rotation. If you want to see more, I can email you the detailed 4 week rotation. I probably spend over 60 mins per workout, a few times a week, though, and I have no official rest day. I'm taking that as it comes.

Well, I'd best go do SH Bi's and Tri's. Then I'm going to practice the first 2 combos of Amy B's first Advanced Step Challenge, on just the step top. We've got a day of socializing planned, so I've got to do this first thing, or it won't get done. Have a great day!

SandraXX

Good Morning! Feels like afternoon already! I havent opened my eyes from a nights sleep to see 7:30am on the clock since I was born! The first day of DST makes me buggy! :D :D :D Shoot- even DH is awake! Wheres my ALONE TIME to play????

Enough ranting so early....did I sau my body feels like I lifted SH 4x consecutively???? Did Kickboxing & Core Cardio REALLY kick my bootay this badly???? Heavens to Betsy (who's Betsy btw?) I have MIS on the schedule today..... I shall prevail!

Sorry I never got back yesterday....DH didnt fall asleep in recliner - maybe he did but I was asleepon floor next to fireplace:7 No its not cold here I just like the fireplace sometimes! - I'm known to turn AC to 65 and turn it on!:eek:

Rambling is in full force today....gotta go make DH a nice Sunday breakfast THEN start laundry THEN I shall return to chat!!!

Hi all,

Today is CST for the last time! Then I'll do some core and yoga.

Christiane - Magically hips worked so well for me because it stretched out the hip muscles which were tight and putting pressure on the nerves, causing pain and a vicious cycle of sending wierd impulses to those nerve and causing them to tighten etc. etc. Back surgery is fine if you find someone good to do it. I have a friend who had back surgery and she has so many restrictions on her life... What is your goal for your next rotation? Maybe we can come up with something that is functional and back friendly.

Sandra - I think your planned rotation sounds great. Didn't you say you lost weight after the last one? I still believe that, like I said before, you have to change things up. I was doing lots of running and cardio, then stopped for about 5 weeks and went to about 1/2 of that and now I'm back to more intense varied cardio. I works for me. I really try to regulate my moods with oils; flax and evening primrose, plus B6. I probably was about your age when things got really bad. The yoga is like a mood regulator for me too, although it does take time. Do you eat many processed foods? I'm thinking probably not, but they reek havoc with my moods.

I'll be back later,

Tracy

Good morning all my friends around the world! It is a glorious sunny (but cold) day here in the South. All is well in my world...Carolina beat Duke last night after a great game! Had a little tune up as well, so feeling pretty darn perky, considering I really don't like DST...but what can you do?? I have a couple of errands to run today...and that should be about it. I did SH leg + shoulders and CoreMax 1 yesterday...I felt really good about the leg work. I was able to go as heavy as Cathe during the whole thing..I even stayed heavy when she dropped down...which is a first for me. But boy was that 50# barbell heavy on my shoulders! Not as many DOMS as I was expecting today...don't know whether that is good or bad! I have SH bis and tris today.

Gotta run for a minute....back in a bit to do some personals before errands call me away for the day.

Lets try & catch up a bit!:7

JEANETTE
I bet youre counting calendar days to see when this nasty cold will be gone! I've always heard: 3 days coming-3 days here-3 days going....Where are you on the 9 day theory? If it counts for anything...I think you are being VERY smart not working out while you are feeling the worst part of the germans!:* Its the advice I give my clients - I think they are surprised that I'd actually tell them NO TRAINING since it is $ out of my pocket.... I do believe its the right thing to do tho. ~~ Funny about the bloat being "worth it"...Unless I'm getting a picture taken or something I could care less about the temporary bloat from food...Lifes too short IMO

NICOLE
:+ on cadbury.... I'm lucky in that my family was never into all these Food Holidays so I have no found memories to trigger cravings...Hang in thee- the "eggs" will be gone soon.

KIM
Havent had a spare second to see blog yet....I am disturbed by negative posts already so I shall go put my head in the sand as far as OD is concerned.

TRACY
Great mishmosh! I love that Cathe has some good low impact options now.... Before I'd just have to make all her stuff low impact when I desired that....I think she has become much more well rounded in past few years...I thank her for that. ~ No, ANY kind of girlie shower isnt my cup of tea...saving grace is the "parents" are big party friends (by MY party standards) so theres always lots of food & wine!}( ~~ HOORAY on yet another LAST TIME workout!!! You've done simply fabulous girl!

DEBRA
Thanks for being my drug pusher! wait- that doesnt sound right does it?!:* Hope the game was terrific!!! How many days til XDH swarms the area? ~~ I still say you are already lean so what are you looking for???? Perhaps TONE is what your hearts desire is? As in "no jiggles?"..... I just cant imagine being at 20% or lower BF and feeling the need for leaner.... But thats my 24% BF brain speaking of course! ALSO- consider this on your "stale scale"- when your stress levels go up you arent showing fat/weight loss....hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

WENDY
How ya feelin' today???? Hoping your world is back in harmony:* You havent seemed like "you" the past week....hope yo are OK.

SANDRA
I have to laugh at all of us on all these "issue" related to muscle, BF etc.... I think once we get to a certain point in fitness & clean eating then environmental & hormonal issues play a much greater part. I think we all need to get outside & forget about it! :+ :+ :+ Is it my imagination or do we go thru this EVERY winter???? Locked in the house w/ winter but thinking about shorts season soon...AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH HELP US!!!!}( ~~ Cardio Core uses the cardio belt 100%...Its alot of running/squating with core crunches (all standing) really good for we "A.D.D." folks! Happy SH day...Its the last one for a bit I gather?????

CHRISTIANE
FABULOUS!!!! Final days of X!!!!! WooHoo!!! Are you proud? I was ESTATIC at the accomplishment! :7

LAURIE XXX:7 :7 :7 :7
You are officially our X Porn Queen!:* :* :*

Happy Happy Sunday to all- I MUST start ridding the house of doggie smells before company arrives + get my MIS completed.... + laundry + shower + .....oh forget about it! I'll never complete it all anyway! :7 :7 :7

personals....

Stacy/Traci...
Who are you being mean to now, my dear?? You are supposed to play nice with the other children. I don't know about the weight...it just bothers me to see the scale creep up there. I think it may have to do with cutting my medication in half...And I gotta tell you, if I don't feel the difference in my fatigue in a week, I am going back on full strength! Don't blame me for your drug addictions...lol....I am just an enabler! XDH will be here in 4 days. Ugh.

Christiane...
Where in Russia is your DH headed? My XDH is living in Moscow. Things are a bit crazy there right now. Sounds like you are busy, busy, busy! I actually got pretty crappy grades my first time around in college...out of laziness more so than anything else. But now that I am MUCH more mature, I feel the need to be a perfectionist in class. You are on the final strides of the X...Way to go!!!

Sandra...
I hate DST too...And why do we now start in March for goodness sakes???? It is so silly. I do thin that some of the weight must be from carrying some extra water around because of my meds...I just don't know if my body will even itself out on it's own or not. I tell you though, if I am not feeling better by next week with the fatigue, I am going to assume it is not the meds and I will go back on full strength! I didn't realize it was Power Mode week...lol. I really love SH...I see such good results and I really like that method of heavy weight work. Hope you have a fun day with friends and family!

Tracy...
WooHoo on the last day of CST! I know I shouldn't look at the scale, but it is so hard for me not to. I have definitely been doing more legs...at least one full day a week and then the circuit work last rotation added another day...plus yoga and I added some of the KM leg conditioning drills on kickboxing days. My legs are definitely more toned...I would like to think that is where the pounds are, but I have a suspicion it is from cutting back on my meds. The fundamentalists definitely spread 'the Word' when they get the chance with my DD...and I don't really have a huge problem with it, but I don't want her to get all of her religious training from them...and I just haven't gotten around to getting involved in a church around here..there just seems to be other things to do on Sunday mornings!

Jeanette...
Yes, we are gearing up for DD's party...She is having a pirate and mermaid party and all the kids will get to dress up and then they have an art project to do (stuffing an animal of their choice, plus dressing it, too)...plus cake and pizza, of course! Glad you seem to e turning a corner with the cold...surely you will feel much better in another couple of days. The comedy club was fun...The comic was a cross between Seinfeld and Jeff Foxworthy...if you can imagine! That is amazing your body is so sensitive to salt. That would drive me nuts.

Waving to Kim and Nicole!! Hope everyone else is doing well today, too...I have some laundry working...and I must go to the grocery store and then to get fertilizer...Doesn't that sound like fun???

Hello again,
We'll I've done diddly squat so far and it's already mid-afternoon. Better get my botty in gear and do something. I made a nice little list this morning of things to do and I haven't done one yet...x( still haven't done my exercises either...x( x( x(

Sandra~~ Yes we do change our time for DST but only in a couple of weeks. There is defiitely a Round 2 on the horizon ...but not for now;-) . I'll tag along one more week of recovery after the official Xone and see. I guess I'll check into the X+ rotation, but I'd like to do some Cathe; 4DS or GS or Pyramid. I feel I can keep the strenght gains I've made and to be honest, I am a little tired of Tony for now. I need to take a break from him, not the exercises...if you know what I mean...:+ Anyway whatever I select will have a hefty dose of Yoga/stretches/Pilates, until the back is better. When reading your post to Tracy regarding the straight leg kicks in LIC, (I love this w/o and do it quite regularely) I do it with a bent knee instead, takes some pressure off the back and you still works a great sweat.

Tracy~~ The goal for my next rotation is to keep the strenght gains I made so far with the X. In terms of weight and bf I am where I want to be. I know that STS will bring yet again new strenght gains even the method to achieve will be slightly different than the X. So basically I don't want to loose what I've gained.

Debra~~ Great w/o yesterday. I just can't have 50# BB on my shoulders. First one of them is not good and second the momentum I need to get the bar there is a killer for my back. Maybe if I use 2 25#BD in each hand...

Well off to exercise....YES I promise.... I will follow Sandra's suggestion and try IntervalX+

....................and in keeping with Stacy's theme today - it has also come to my attention that Cathe has allowed Cedie to retain her BLONDE hair for over 20 years when CLEARLY that doesnt match!

Holy Moly, we went for a group run this morning (5 miles) and I did not dress warm enough. By the time I got home my teeth were chattering uncontrollably and I was shivering so much I could hardly unlock the door. I think I have frostbite on my thighs ;( I only wore running tights the other girls had long johns under sweat pants. It took hot coffe, hot shower and a hot bath to unthaw. It was a good run though felt easy while doing it just hurt afterwards. Finished ARX also and will do BB tonight. Going for a haircut this afternoon which I'm sure excited about because it needs it so bad.

Nicole You are not a wimp for doing only 2 chin ups. I can still only do them by pushing off to get up and then lowering down.

Jeanette That supper sounds yummy! How are you feeling today?

Christiane- That's great about having to get your clothes taken in! You and your DH have really done a great job in getting fit and healthy!

Tracy- WooHoo the last time for CST!!I think I should get enough running in to do a half marathon. It's not till June and I'm not worrying about my speed. Last night at this social event we were at this mom I know a little from the kid's school was telling me she's running 3 marathons this year. I was surprised because I didn't know she was a runner and we live very close together. I started asking some questions and she is planning on running a 5k and 10 k although she calls them marathon. Then she's going to run "that big race" in June which is our city's marathon. I don't think she has a clue what she's doing and I hope she doesn't try to running a marathon after only trying for a 10k. I don't think she knew what a marathon was I didn't know what to say to her since she wasn't asking my advice and she knows I a runner. ;(

Traci -Glad that terrible migraine is gone! Do you get them often. Thank goodness for the dental insurance. Have fun at the shower tihs afternoon. Glad you got a good night's sleep your body probably needed it!

Sandra I am lucky to find some people to run with. (they're all coworkers) I used to run with my next door neighbout and she moved to Edmonton. Maybe I should hook the two of you up? LOL Does Edmonton have a marathon??

Wendy What nice compliments from your ds!

Debra Sounds like you had fun at the game last night.Is the fundamentalist your mom??

Laurie WTG on the XXX status!!

DS is doing Cathe's Total Body Stretching getting ready for his big playoff game today. I'm going to go join him as I didn't stretch after the run because I was too cold. Have a good day everyone! Kim

Today is rest day!:) :) :)

Yesterday Kenpo was late! Dh had a bright idea to take the kids to the laser tag/go-cart/moon bounce place. The racetrack and laser tag was booked for hours due to some body's birthday. So, I dropped them off at the movies to see Spiderwick Chronicles. I had the joy of Saturday grocery shopping. OMW! It was a madhouse!!!

By the time the movies were finished and everyone got home, we didn't get to eat dinner till after 7:00. I baked salmon and topped it off with lemon, fresh herbs and capers.:9 I finally made brown rice. I used chicken stock instead of water. Turned out pretty good!

Today, I've got a chicken to stuff with buttery and salty carbs. Phil's getting our taxes done.

Jeanette: I hope you are feeling better today! I've been thinking about you all night. Hope you felt my get well vibes through any drug high.

Off to read personals.

Ballistic Hugs to ALL!
Wendy

Stacy/Traci....
Step away from the OD and the STS forums...You will only get in trouble...LOL! I am amazed at how petty some people are...and I say God Bless Cedie! Keep it blond as long as you can babe!!!! Keep covering up that gray! I just don't understand why you don't want to see those lovely men all dressed up in matching Cathe clothes....That would start some rumors about the whole gay thing, don't cha think?? Maybe we could get George Clooney to dress up in Cathe spandex, too. You are cracking me up today, little lady. Try to behave yourself this afternoon!

Kim...
Gracious no! My mom would never be considered anything close to fundamentalist in anything...LOL! We have some neighbors who DD is friends with that are incredibly religious (not that there is anything wrong with that....wait didn't I hear that in a Seinfeld episode??). But they can be a bit over the top with the invitations to church, etc. But DD loves their DD....so it is all good! Hope you have warmed up a bit from your run. DD and I went to Home Depot today and I thought I was going to freeze my a$$ off...I have become a wimp in less than a year down South!!

Christiane...
I know what you mean about the heavy barbell.....Once I had it on my shoulders I was pretty okay...but heaving it over my head was a bit of an issue at the end of each set. I am sure dumb bells would work, though. I have a long list each week of things to do...and there are always a few that get pushed to the next week...and the next...and the next!!!

I am off to nap since CBL snored most of the night last night...and he picked me up so I didn't have my car to come home. Ugh. Darn snoring men!! My cat is beside me on the sofa right now snoring. I can't seem to get away from it today!

Bottom's Up!

Kim: I'm sorry. I had to laugh about the frostbitten thighs.:7 I remember feeling so cold after P.E. class in the 5th grade. We lived in the upper part of Florida where the winters can get damp cold to the bone. I hardly ever wore a coat. My fingers would be numb by the time we got inside. Thawing out was the worst! My fingers would throb during math. You'd think it would occur to me to dress warmer! Oh Hon! Running to the mailbox is a marathon for me!!!!:7 :+ ;) Debra's fundamentalist is actually me!:p Well, I'm the liberal fundamentalist in her life. It's not her mom.:7 It's her unschooling neighbor.:7 :7

Yippee!!! Ds just got back from the neighborhood store with toilet paper. BRB.

Wendy

Debra: You're messing up my Bottoms Up Personals!!! Now, stop it! Wait your turn. Take a nap!:7 :+

Now where was I...

Traci: Your one line posts are making Bottoms Up difficult for me today! Cedie's blond hair. Okay. I'm lost. I'll catch up with once I catch a clue.

Next.

Christiane: I've stopped making a literal to-do list once I realized my expectations were too high. Stop procrastinating! Get up and PUSH PLAY! There doesn't that motivate you? :+ What are your dh's post-X plans? Do you think he'll do STS with you? I doubt Phil will since we only have one stability ball. He might, doubtfully, do it on his own.

Now...

Debra: I thought Stacy wasn't schedule to arrive for another couple weeks! Thanks for the warning. I heard she put me in time-out. What did I do?!?!?! Oh, Thank God you'll be up at night chatting with me. No telling what Stacy may do to me with a big fluffy pillow.:eek: :7 OH! NO you don't! You just continue cutting those pills in half!That's an order!!!!!!:p So, what's a couple of pounds of water weight? Yes, I've been known to cry about my own weight. But, your body will adjust. I don't need you falling asleep while I'm telling you every little single detail of my life at 3 AM!:p :7

~~~~~~News Flash!!!!~~~~~~~
I've dropped a couple of pounds this week! I think these contributing factors did it: banning fast foods from my life, I threw away all the kid's Valentine's candy (Hey! there were only lemon cream filled ones left!), and I've been trying my best to eat more fish and vegetables.
Traci: There you go again messing up my Bottoms Up! Ohhh, now, I've gotta go take a look see. Where? In the OD?
Okay, BRB. I've gotta see what Stacy has been up to this morning.
Debra~~ Well at this point DH is nowhere close to Russia. He just called me from CDG airport (Paris) and they are not letting him through customs because the person responsible for that trip made a mistake for his B-day date. So he missed his plane. He is hoping at this point that the luggages didn't make it to Russia as he wouldn't be there... that person is in deep sHHHHHHt. He was supposed to fly from Russia to the US. He will call me back as soon as this terrible mess is over. The worse is that's the second time this kind of situation happens. He once flew to China and his visa was over, so they flew him right back to Europe... without passing GO and without collecting $200...x( x( x(
Nicole~~ I still can't do an unassisted pull-up. The problem also (aside from be being fi-fi...;-) ) is that I cannot be consistent in trying pull-ups. I don't or can't have a pull-up bar while in Europe and have to use the Bowflex. At home in MI, I use the smallest band from Woody Band and can manage about 6-8.
Kim~~YUK!! on getting so cold. I hate it when it gets through your bones. It doesn't seem to go away. My DMinL just wrote me an email that there were having their worst snow storm since 1971... My 2 sisters and brother were supposed to fly out of Montreal today for a cruise. I hope they were able to fly out.
Well I finally did Interval X+ with some minor modifications for the back. I'll see tomorrow how it affected it. I also did a session of ball rolling. See you later allegators...
;-)
WENDY.... Put on your Evil Eye glasses & go *sniff* in OD:7 :7 Debra...You'll be happy to know that Stacy gets WORSE when her tamk is filled w/ Vino! Must start "preparing the tank" for baby shower}( }( Your mechanic analogies are OBVIOUSLY different than mine- I think thats called AGING:7
I'm back.:)
Traci: Stacy's comment wasn't bad. Girl! I think I would have been up in arms if they were wearing the same clothes as Cathe!!! Nothing like having my fantasies ruined by hot men dressed in drag!}( Now, get in back in line. Oh look who's next in line. YOU! LOL My world is starting to get back to normal. I am talking to dh in a normal tone of voice.:7 Just a moment...
Everyone: Keep in mind that Cathe and crew are doing all this high impact stuff on those wonderful springy aerobic floors. You would be amazed to see how high you could jump on them with very little effort and impact to the joints!!!! So, don't worry if you have to sub low impact moves.... unless you've got those wonderful aerobic floors in your home.:7
Yippee!!! We only owe $500 for local taxes.
Okay, back to Traci: Crap! Thanks for reminding me about shorts season. Next, you'll be reminding me of bathing suit season!:eek: Do you think I could pull off wearing platform heels in a bathing suit? Nah, I didn't think so.:+
Debra: DST? Which one is that? Thinking... thinking... Oh! Just tell me already!:p :+
Tracy: Whooo Hooo! CST DOMS are the worst! Have fun!!!!:7 :7 :7 I'm thinking the lack of processed foods are wreaking havoc on my moods!!! Maybe, my body is going through detox. I just wrote down your mood regulators. Do you recommend a specific brand of flax? Next time I'm near the health store, I plan on talking to the owner about nutrition. He was very helpful when the twins were younger and needing to gain weight.
Debra: DST: Nevermind! Got it! LOLOLOL
Traci: Remember: Mind Body Spirit... Your body was battling migraines. Just living would have impacted you today. Take it easy. MIS is tough!!!
Sandra: What did we do? I really believe Traci was looking out for my best interest. She knows I have no idea what I'm talking about. She just wants to save me from showing everyone on the World Wide Web just how ignorant I am. Gotta love her!!! About the chin/pull up bar. Well, remember my little tiff with dh. Um, somehow, one way or another, it was so late at night, it was dark, anyway, the pull-up bar, um, accidentally, (Yes! accidentally) toppled down the stairs while I was merely shutting the door, so I could lock it!}( Thankfully, no pull-up bar was hurt during the filming of that episode.:+ It's currently hanging in one of the entrances to the living room. LOL I thought we were playing nice!!!! Gosh! I could care less if I wasn't making a good point. LOLOLOL About the cardio in STS, I finally went to the FAQ page and read that Cathe will be offering cardio suggestions. It makes sense that she wouldn't post details about it for free. If I were Cathe, I'd be so sick of people wanting everything immediately. I'd be like, "Just buy it and see for yourself!":p Thankfully, I'm not Cathe!:7 Ooooo! Love what you tell yourself when you see skinny fat people. Must claim that one for myself!!!!
Christiane: Thanks again for talking to me about your awesome self control with the carb battle!!! That's my downfall as well. If I don't get enough of ??? I crave carbs. Would you consider brown rice a carb? Silly question, but I would love to be able to say, "Heck No it's a protein." LOL I can't imagine having dessert once a week. And, splitting it with my dh!!!!!!!!! Maybe in my next life though. I remember reading about you investigating some new technology about skin tightening. How's that going?
Okay ladies, I've got a chicken to stuff.
Ballistic Hugs to ALL!
Wendy
Wendy...
Is 'stuffing a chicken' some kind of analogy that I am not getting??? LOL!!!!! And by the way, stop bragging about the weight loss as I am gaining like a big fat pig.
Christiane..
Those Russians can be very testy about Americans (or anyone besides Russians) coming into their country. You must all i's dotted and t's crossed exactly in the right spot or it's a no go. Hopefully DH's luggage gets back to the right spot without the Russian customs people getting their hands on it first to take what they want out of it! They will steal anything and everything of value. Sending good luck vibes to DH!
Stacy/Traci...
Well, you should be in fine form after the winery field trip! Have fun at the shower....Hope you get WB dressed in an extra large diaper...Pictures please.
I must go workout now.
