Good Morning!

Today I did Pure Strength, Chest, Shoulders & Triceps. I forgot how much I like this workout. I think I will stick to the 4DS Kickbox Legs and do the 2 upper body Pure STrength, at least for this week until I am off to DAllas, then Mexico. I am already homesick:-( . I do not travel well, and am even worse when DH is not with me.

Garance:
I really wish I could do those step workouts in 4DS. I just don;t have the patience and time it would take to learn them. When is superbowl weekend? LOL;-) ...not a football fan here.

Josie:
Do you climb dunes, but not run up them? Never having seen or been on a dune, I have no idea! As for the doghouse, we never had one for any of our dogs. Did you try googling it? there are tons of info on dog training and solving problems out there.

Jen:
I hope you start to feel better...I am going to see if I can request that book from our library! Thanks for the tip. I love mysteries and am always looking for new authors.

Have a great day!

Deb;-)

Good Morning Deb and those to follow:
Deb: Sorry about Mexico, I thought it was a vacation. Hopefully you'll have some "you" time down there. Today I'm having my car starter installed, finally. I hope it doesn't screw up my GPS.
Garance:Do you know what time the superbowl is? I hope to watch with DH but if its a night game I may have 2nd thoughts.
Josie: You make me tired just reading about your workouts. You must be the energizer bunny.
Jen: Sorry about your inhaler problem.Don't push yourself to workout, you don't want to have a relapse. I tried skating a few times when I was younger but my ankles always gave out.I felt like a klutz.
No work day,so its house cleaning and register my car.Hope you all have a great day.~Linny~

Hi Deb, Linny, Jen, and Josie--

This morning I did the 4ds Bootcamp with bis and tris. I do some modifications on this one, but I still work up a sweat. If you don't have the patience for the step, this one is very easy to follow, Deb. I like that PS workout too.

Jen, I'm so glad you checked in yesterday. I was worried that you had really gotten sick. I hope with all the meds you are coming back.

Linny, the Superbowl starts at 6 I believe. We have had parties in the past, but this year I think it will just be the two of us. I'm going to make Nigella Lawson's chili, though. I think it's the best chili I have ever had. It must be the dark chocolate she throws in.

Josie, I have no suggestions on the doghouse. Our old farm dog, Zack, would wait for DH to go into this shed filled with hay bales and follow him at night. It was really cute--he wanted to be tucked in and given a few biscuits every night. I still miss him because he was such a clown and companion for DH.

DH has been downloading Fred Astaire music and Glenn Miller music. He says he wants to practice in between our dance lessons this year--hoping he won't forget so quickly. Goody!

Hi Deb, Linny and Garance,

I ended up having margaritas and apetizers at a Mexican place righ across my house instead of spinning. My friend Lydia called me just when I was getting home from work and she sounded like she neede a fried. It was a nice visit.

Today I will be running 5.5 miles. I have not tired my new CD's the 4DS. I was planning on just doing the weight training part since I alredy do other cardio.

Deb, I do not run up the dunes. I leave that to the younger kids that go there. Walking up them is hard enough.

I will not be watching the superbowl I'm not a fan, eventhough we usually have a big party with a casino and tent. We have been having it for the last 7 years and it has gotten to be a big expense.

This year we decides to save the money to visit the diffrent colleges with our DD.

Josie

Happy Tuesday, All,

I'm still not feeling great. I can breathe a little better, but I'm so weak I almost didn't make it walking back and forth from work to get coffee (it's not very far). I hope I continue to improve because I took my last antibiotic last night. Also, DH started coughing and feeling bad last night - sigh.

I can't remember if I mentioned this, so please skip this paragraph if I did - I've been in a medicine brain fog! Last Thursday, the day I was so sick at work, our supervisor had a major announcement - no more working weekends! This will be the first time in my 23-year career here that this has happened! I've been so sick that I haven't gotten excited yet, but I bet that will happen later this week because I was supposed to work this weekend. We will still have to staff holidays, but only 2 of us per holiday. I'm working Presidents' Day, so should only have to cover one other one.

Deb, I've walked up dunes VERY slowly, and let me tell you, Josie is some kind of iron woman. It's like walking through mud.

Have a wonderful day,
Jen
