Pentagenarians & Beyond: Monday!

Good Morning!

I am off work this week so the workout will be when DH leaves for work. I am planning on doing an I-Train. True to form, when I thought I would sleep in a little, the dogs could not figure out why I wasn;t getting up so at 4:15 they were doing their "Let's get up" dance by the side of the bed. Needless to say, this cannot be ignored. I will hit the treadmill when DH leaves for work.

It is still snowing here. DH is on his way out to do some more snowblowing.

Rhonda:
What type of office does your DH have? Mine is a dental office. He too has had problems keeping cleaning people but thank god I have not had to clean it yet! What is the new sweater going to be like?

Hi Deb,Jen Garance and Rhonda,

It has been very busy here at work. Our office will be closing for the holidays and everyone is trying to get a lot done before we leave.

I ran 11 miles on Saturday and went to the dunes on Sunday. I have not gained any weight, so I'm happy. I'm not on a diet right now, but will start after the holidays.

I went to the casino on Saturday and started with $40.00 on the rullette and ended up with $450.00. Not bad! Now I have some mad money to spend. I also went shopping, I only need about 5 more presents to buy and then I will be set. The only thing left is my baking this weekend.

I can't wait for my vacation!

Hi Deb, Josie and later posters--

Yesterday I did Lowmax--the first four intervals (45 min.), followed by a core workout from Ab Hits. Today I did the double upperbody premix from Supersets.

I stayed home yesterday while the nor'easter blew in with its mess of snow, sleet, wind, ice. Blech! DH actually drove with his brother and another fellow to Foxboro to see the Pats and Jets. They got home safely last night, though.

I did some grading yesterday, but also couldn't resist indulging in my new Grafton, which I finished about 15 minutes ago. Thoroughly enjoyable.

Poor DH has been digging out all morning--around the house, the barns, the wood processor. I'm really glad, though, that he no longer has a snowplowing route. He never would have been able to go the game yesterday and would have been out all night working to clear other people's driveways.

Well--back to the grading. Have a great day and stay warm. It's freezing here.
