Eating was good again yesterday, but then again my stomach has been bothering me lately. So I can't take all the credit.

I was dragging when I got out of bed this morning. Anyway, the workout was three straight sets of 12 with 1:30 rests.

Then did ab work. Didn't realize how sore my abs were until I did the first BB rollout! OUCH!
 
Goodmorning Sweeties!!

I was absolutely swamped at work yesterday. I guess that's what I get for taking a week off :p I did eat 2 mini snickers yesterday afternoon. I was starving and had no time to fix my PB and banana snack x(

This morning I did DM cardio and pullups. Now I just need to do upper body and I will be done.

Linda, when was/is your photo shoot? Oh and do you do your bulgarians with a BB? I can not imagine balancing for that. I stink at unilateral work anyway. Guess I need to work on that!!


Maggie, are you packed for the RT yet :p JK I get so excited when I think about it!!

Missy, my foot is doing ok. It still bothers me a bit. But I am being very careful. Thanks for asking!!

Catherine - What is your PB & banana snack? Sounds good. The photo shoot was Wednesday and I see the results on Monday. The photos will be ready Saturday, but I just cannot get there that day. Yes, I do BSS with a barbell and they are a bear to balance! I actually had to lower my back leg today, for the knee's sake. I just did not want to risk it, especially for an exercise that I hate! So I only had my back leg up eight inches today.

I did ME last night and it worked me real good! :)
Today, will probably be my rest day as I didn't do anything this morning and have a lot to do tonight. I will try to get a workout in tomorrow in the midst of getting everything ready for my sister's baby shower. Very exciting!

Missy- Nigella Lawson is also quite the dessert queen and her recipies vary, some are good for you, some not so much, but I find most of her stuff is straight forward and easy to make. She's also british like Jamie.

Linda- So....do we get to see the pics when you get them on Monday? You KNOW we're nosy :p and want to see the results of your hard work. In an earlier post you mentioned that you don't eat a lot of carbs. That is a weakness of mine and I want to cut back but I love my carbs. Do you eat carbs in the morning and then no carbs after lunch? I heard that works for some people. Or try to avoid them altogther?

Catherine- your pb and banana snack sounds tasty!! I am SO not ready in the least for the road trip. Haven't booked flights or hotel. AND I really need to find some cute workout outfits ;-) You?

Maggie - As long as the pictures turn out good :p and I can get them on the computer, I will definitely share. I could not go no carb - life would just not be worth living - besides I couldn't lift the way I do without carbs. But I do try to limit them to the first part of the day. I am not always successful, but I try. :9
 
I agree with Linda and the no carb thing. My workouts would sooooooo suffer. And if Linda's biceps (in her avi) are any indication of what the rest of her body looks like :eek: :eek:

Maggie, I have my flights alreay set up and plan on doing some shopping for some workout clothes and maybe something to wear. I am always up for shopping a bit for cute clothes or shoes :p

I did my upper body w/o a little earlier. Eating has been decent today. I have had a small amt of chocolate. And I am now enjoying a glass of pino noir. Gotta get those carbs and anti-oxidants ;)
