Hey ladies. Today I did a bf % reading and I was 2% lower than two months ago. Not bad but I still need to go down a bit more. I'm going to a pool party so I don't have a lot of time to post, but today was my rest day. My diet has been okay so far but we'll see tomorrow how I did with the food at the party. Take care ladies. Hey Rose. A 2% reduction in BF is great. Remember this is a slow race not a sprint. I hope you have fun at the party.

I did have a cheat yesterday. But otherwise not doing bad. Did L&G extreme this am-ugggghhhh!! I hate leg work x( Been doing it twice a week for a month and it's not getting any easier. Oh well, I gotta do it.

Congrats on the BF reduction Rose.

My puppy comes home in 2 weeks.

I had company the last few days due to a relative's wedding so I was off schedule this weekend. I did get in 3 days of exercise last week.
 
Catherine - I hope it was chocolate pudding! Don't worry, tomorrow you'll do better. I also hope you can workout tomorrow.

Affirm - I would love a new puppy! Oh boy, but I know I can't afford one (I already have 2 dogs :p ) Take care of that little guy.

I had fun yesterday, but I ate tons of crap, and I also drank wine like it was water (I didn't even know it was wine because it tasted like fruit punch). Anyway when I got there I was sitting down talking to a few people and after 2 servings of wine (that's what happens when someone rarely drinks) I was at the karaoke machine singing my heart out.:7

Today I did much better with my diet. The temperature however was unbearable, even with a/c, so I did a lighter cardio followed by GS: BSB and abs, but I decided to lower the weights of BSB so I wouldn't get dizzy from the heat. So I'd say that my workout was light in terms of intensity, but I made a huge effort considering how hot it was. Of course the a/c was on and I drank tons of water. Ugh! I'm not too fond of the summer months because of the heat. I prefer fall and winter.
 
Grand performance! haha! I don't know, but I was the "clown" of the night. People were laughing at my jokes and all. I just think that they were drinking that wine thinking it was juice (that's what happened to me). :+ :7

Today I noticed my pants fitting tighter and I normally don't do weigh-ins on Tuesdays, but I was curious and I gained about 2.5 lbs!!! Which proves my point. No matter how hard I exercise, if I eat chocolate cake, vanilla cake, all sorts of grilled meat and veggies, and top it off with wine then all my efforts will go to waste. I mean I had fun, but I need to be strict when it comes to my diet (even in front of my friends). Having a couple of treats is okay, but eating one of everything is not. Anyway, I woke up early and I did GS: Legs (standing only) + B&G (floorwork & stretch). Live and learn.
 
Rose, I am very excited about my puppy. I may be coming to you ladies for some advice when he comes home. I know what you mean about the weight gain. It can sneak up on you.

No exercise today for me, but I have not had anything sweet to eat.
 
Hey ladies. Today I did LIC (cardio + abs) and GS: C&T. Good thing I'm not going to workout for 2 days after that. Well I have to go now.

GS C&T is :eek: :eek: LOL!! Rose how are ya liking the GS rotation?

I've had a rough day. Lost my credit card- only to find it (of course) We had a water line break in our front yard and now have no water. I showered at my sisters and have bottled water for brushing teeth,.. DH is taking off tomorrow to hopefully get it fixed.

I did manage upper body and some cardio this evening before the discovery of course LOL!!!

The GS Series is one of those that should deserve its own category: uber advanced. I was sooooo excited yesterday though. I found out a way to finish all the drop sets of push-ups on my toes. I hit pause after completing a set and waited about 10 secs or so then hit play and stretched along with Cathe before going on to the next set. In all, I say I was resting about 15 secs or so before starting the next set of push-ups. Surprisingly this little trick worked.

I also have to say that every time I do LIC I love it even more. I just can't find anything wrong with that workout. I love the choreography, the intensity, and the music is great! I've never done LIC as is; I only do the cardio premix. I didn't even know it had abs so I discovered the ab section weeks ago and now I *really* love LIC.

Today is my rest day and I'm going to see Bon Jovi tomorrow :D which means yet another rest day.

Catherine - a year ago a water line broke *inside* my house. :eek: I had so much water inside that my neighbors had to come help me clean. Yikes I lost books and tons of things. Things like that happen sometimes, but don't worry it'll be ok in a couple of days.

Affirm - are you done with school or what?! You really deserve that vacation!
 
Fitfairy, I hope today was a better day for you. It is rough when several bad things seem to happen on the same day.

I have one more week of school. I am definitely looking forward to it.
 
Oh definately was a better day!! Water is fixed. Life is good ;)
Eating has been on track the last few days. I did legs today. Followed S&H routine with some changes. I did my own count for tempo and did RDLs instead of plie squats. I did 55# squats, 55# lunges and 55# RDL x1 then upped to 60# for the last two sets, calf raises was 23.75# My hammies are screaming!! I also did chinups 6,5,4,4,2- that's my first time doing 6 in one set :eek: :eek:

Hey ladies. Like I said, today it was going to be my second rest day in a row. Oh my gosh I'm going to see Bon Jovi in a couple of hours and just now it's hitting me and I'm so excited! The local radio station that's sponsoring the concert is playing Bon Jovi all afternoon and I'm listening to it on my little radio at work lol! I hope I have fun and I'll post tomorrow.

Affirm - One more week! Yay! You're almost done.

Catherine - I'm sooooo glad your water problem is fixed. We take things like that for granted sometimes and then when we lose them for a couple of days we go crazy. As usual you are very strong. I wish I can lift as heavy. I'm working on it though.

Still eating good. 25 mins of step this morning and just pooped out. I don't know if it was too early(7am), the heat or if I was still tired from last nights workout-legs (which was at 5:30 PM) I then took a almost 2 hour nap this afternoon. Who knows??

Will try cardio again tomorrow and B&Gs on Sunday

Today was a cheat day for me. Chicken Marsala, 2 glasses of wine and of course tirimisu!!
I did Step Blast step and hi lo premix - pant pant pant man that was tough!!
Affirm, puppy comes home in a week?? You should post pics!!
Oh I went shopping today and bought a new dress
