Cathlete
MORNING! http://www.millan.net/minimations/smileys/painting.gif

http://www.freesmileys.org/smileys/ad/talk.gif

You guys....I....I think something must be wrong with me.....

I just spent an hour figuring out my February rotation, and it's not even the middle of January!!

http://www.freesmileys.org/smileys/ad/showoff.gif

I....I think I might have to go buy green beans! Or.....or.......dare I buy barley?!

Wait. One thing at a time. I better be reasonable until exercise really becomes habit again. Anyway, I'm feeling good and have again started looking forward to my daily exercises, woo hoo!

I've got all sorts of DOMS goin' down! http://www.millan.net/minimations/smileys/cheerleader3.gif

Except that today is CTX Power Circuit, and I don't know how I feel about that. http://bestsmileys.com/lol/10.gif

ARISTA -

>Are you still playing that Nintendo thingy?

Moi? http://www.freesmileys.org/smileys/angelic006.gif Mais oui! I am slave to the Nintendo DS Lite.

>My kittens are only 6 months old and they LOVED the catnip mice I got them.

Really? Hmm. Maybe I should get some catnip and try it out. I have some catnip toys but nobody has gotten into them. But that could be because the catnip is worn out. http://bestsmileys.com/thinking/4.gif

> I bought a nice big gym quality step and it arrived today! The thing is frikkin huge compared to my old one.

Yay! My step is at the head of my bed being held in place by two dumbbells. It's so big there's nowhere else to put it.

JENNIFER -

>My cats love the new furniture, now that it's in my front heated sunroom. Lots of light and warmth from the sun, even in the winter.

Ooh, how nice for them. And how nice for you!

>No, gift exchange here. This angel from GOD has been delivering me gifts in secrecy for the past 6 years. It made my whole night and almost put me in tears, even on Jan. 8th. This year, a 1/2 pound of milk chocolate, french vanilla coffee, nail colour, hair bands, lip gloss, and a bunch of socks, plus breakfast bars. Every year, there are always socks. Some years, I've had homemade coco and tupperware.

Wow. I mean really, wow, in all sorts of ways. How very cool that that is happening for you, and that you let yourself receive it with such joy, without knowing who it is who is doing it.

At any rate, it sounds like something you'd see in a lovely movie. How magical.

>August-where are the pics?

LMAO. Oh yeah right! "And here's a photo of me sleeping with Mooch and Cham." http://www.freesmileys.org/smileys/happy118.gif LOL.

DANA -

>Don't they have girl scouts in Japan?

Not a scout in site! http://bestsmileys.com/peeping/1.gif

>OK, here is my exciting news - I have lost 3.8 lbs since Jan 1st. Yeah for me!!!!

Holy mother! You killer!! That is awesome! Good for you!!!! http://www.freesmileys.org/smileys/happy085.gif

MICHELE -

>My endurance is better, I can go faster with higher resistance, I have to work harder to get my HR up, and I recover more quickly.

Jeez, that's fantastic!! What a fun discovery! That is really great!!! http://www.freesmileys.org/smileys/happy085.gif

Is Hatesville the most inspiring place this year or what?!

TERRI - Hey you! So glad to see your post! How you been? Anyway, it's nice to know you're lurking about, even if you don't post, Hatesville is always here for when you'd like to drop in!

>the carmel/coconut ones are the best!

Oh no! I've never tried those!!

>was it Diane who had the baby or Dana? What did she have?

Diane had a baby girl http://www.millan.net/minimations/smileys/babygirl.gif . Dana got a baby Ralphie http://www.millan.net/minimations/smileys/dog.gif .

All right, I'm going to digest breakfast now and then get going on my CTX. Please, exercise Gods, please let it go all right!! http://www.millan.net/minimations/smileys/begging.gif

Hello August.

How are you?

For your pics, please send us one of just the squirrels playing. Tues AM, I woke up with a cold and still have it so I haven't touched PUB or Gin Miller Simply Interval yet. The snow is coming back today or Friday.

Where do you find all that energy? I wish I had it.

Hope everyone else is doing good. Stay Healthy.

Good morning!!

**Computer Update!!**

I've been to a new and more fun computer store (Augie, I hate the big Apple Store!) and I've decided to get...drum roll please...an iMac!!! I love the iMac!! It's what I really wanted in the first place but DH thought a laptop would be more versatile. Well, it may be more versatile but what good is it if you can't see the damn screen x( !? I use the computer to balance my checkbook, pay bills, write letters, etc, and I need to sit comfortably at a desk to do those things. I mean, it sounds so fun to veg out on the couch with a 'puter in your lap, but man oh man, that about killed my back! I found it exceedingly uncomfortable to lounge about with a computer in my lap. And who wants to settle for a little tiny computer monitor when you can have a great big one!? Me likey the great big monitor :D. It makes everything look so AWESOME! :D

I figured out what the problem is -- screen resolution. I've learned more about screen resolution in the past 3 days than anybody should know -- LMAO! BUT, the MacBook Pro has a very high resolution which means that it has more pixels, which means that it can fit more information in a smaller space. The long and short of it is this -- if you go with high resolution, get a BIG MONITOR! We're talking BIG -- BIG BIG!!

I did a 3 mile walking DVD last night and added 3# hand weights to boost the burn. It got me good! Today will be a CC on my elliptical.

August - I love your little painter smilie -- what a lovely greeting for a frosty morning! (I could not make out the smilies with the MacBook. They looked like tiny little ants crawling on the screen :( ).

WOO HOO!! It's so awesome that you're already figuring out your February rotation, but, um, have you forgotten that this is Haterville!? I would hate for anyone to get the wrong impression of our fair city -- LMAO!

Yes, yes, yes!! It's time for green beans and barley! I was thinking of making a stew for dinner tomorrow that calls for barley instead of potatoes. By golly, I think I'm going to make it!:9

Jennifer - My DH woke up with a cold this morning, too! I was battling cold symptoms throughout the holidays and it about wore me out. Take a rest day and drink some green tea with honey...and lots of other fluids, too. Soup -- eat soup!

Terri!! - There you are! I was hoping you'd pop back in and say hello. What are you doing these days? Didn't you quit the home staging business to go into real estate sales or something? How's your DH and kids!? I'm glad you're checking in somewhere. It really does make a difference when you have a group to hold you accountable. I've been checking in with the Melter's, although I think we haters are more accountable than people realize ;)

Arista - Did you get your fridge cleaned out!? My Johnny kitty loves his little catnip animals (he has furry mice and a frog). He likes to roll around on them -- LMAO!

Jen, Robin, Dana, and all - What are you guys up to today?

Alrighty, I need to check in with the melter's and get to work around here. I'm getting some company tomorrow morning. A friend is coming over to see my new carpet -- she's thinking about putting wool carpet in her house and she wants to see how it looks. She'll be mad because it's positively luxurious but it costs a freaking fortune  . After she scrutinizes every square inch of my carpet (she will do that -- she'll try to find the seams -- LMAO!), we're going to lunch, so I may not be around until late tomorrow afternoon. Have a great day, all, and I'll try to check in later :*
