Morrrrrrning!

Well, I woke up to.....Guh! guh! guh! guh! guh!

http://www.freesmileys.org/smileys/sleep027.gif

I won't go into detail, as I know some of you eat breakfast over thread reading, but if you're a cat owner, you know what that sound is.

It was Mooch, but the thing is, I gave him a new flavor of a new wet kitty food last night, and he was the only one to eat it. So I'm thinking it was that. Now that I'm fully awake, I wish I'd researched what looked like wet food blob for white puffy ball blob.

Aren't you guys glad I'm back to fill your mornings with witty ditties such as this?

http://www.freesmileys.org/smileys/laughing023.gif

Remember Oogi in my Nintendo DS Lite Animal Crossing game? Would you believe that I help her water her flowers EVERY DAY? http://www.freesmileys.org/smileys/shocked032.gif I'm more consistent at this point watering her flowers than I am at working out LOL. But if I don't water her flowers every single day, all her hard work to bloom special colored flowers will be for naught, whereas not working out every day.....er...

MICHELE - Wow, snowing! It's very sunny over here, though by no means warm. The lovely site of snow as a backdrop to Johnny's chewing on your new Christmas tree needles must be divine! LOL.

Cham was sick before the fluff ball went missing. I think what happened was that she was both excited to see me home and hungry for her kibble, so she decided to swallow down a few and then visit with me. I must have somehow inadvertently taught her my awful chewing habits. LOL.

>I know what you mean about the conversation with your mom. I've had that same conversation with my DH nearly everyday for the last 23 years -- LMAO!!

LMAO!

>I usually don't have to do much for that dinner except bring a dessert, which I usually buy

LMAO!

I've got to tell you that you really are incredibly awesome in your working out! You should feel really proud, and you should feel really healthy! Great for you! http://www.freesmileys.org/smileys/basic/thumbsup.gif

DIANE - Being the new mother of two, http://www.freesmileys.org/smileys/gen127.gif I must say that I knew ( ;) ) you'd be leaving your job. As if you want to spare any time away from the CAMERA, let alone ELLA. http://www.freesmileys.org/smileys/laughing002.gif

DANA - I hope your drive was a safe one. That sounds totally scary.

ROBIN - Just thought I'd say hi again!

JENNIFER - The toy that Mooch ate is a teaser made of a loooooong piece of fleece rope and at the end of the rope is a fluffy ball in the shape, size and consistency of a bunny rabbit's tail. In fact, IS it made of bunny fur? http://www.freesmileys.org/smileys/shocked001.gif Mooch seems to be fine today, so I'm hoping the small wad of white now at the end of the fleece is actually what a bunny tail looks like after it's gotten chewed on, saliva'd up, and condensed LOL.

Anyway, glad to hear your stress is coming down!

All right. I have to go water Oogi's flowers.

Later Haters!

Hello Haters.
It's still evening here, almost 10pm EST to be exact. I just finished HSC for the first time in a long time and plan to tackle IMAX3 headon tomorrow night with no premix anything. I previewed it so I must do it. My rationale is if I can do BM2, I can do just about anything.

Glad the Mooch is feeling better. Bunny fur, that's good. He is learning good hunting skills.

It;s sunny here. Only shoveling in the AM today. I hate doing doubles (shoveling both day & night). More snow expected on my day off.

Have a Great Morning/Night...

Hi ladies.

Just wanted to let you know that I did make it home safely. 30 minutes later then I normally but safe. It is so cold here - it was 7 degrees this morning. Brrrr!!!

Robin - I saw in the news that the lady who was in the wreck in your area was killed. How sad. You did my fave workout last night. I did that one last week. Glad to hear that your knee is improving.

August - ha, ha to your morning wake-up call. If it makes you feel any better bulldogs make the most unusual noises. I actually had to take Ralphie downstairs last night to sleep in his crate b/c he was making all sorts of weird gurgling noises. First he was in the bathtub then he was walking around. Weird animals!!!!

Diane - I forgot to tell you how beautiful Ella is. Sorry - I don't know how I overlooked that. She has such a cute smile.

Morning to Jen, Michele & Jennifer!!!

Today, actually in 45 minutes, I have my wonderful yearly exam, oh joy!!!

I am having my family over on Christmas Eve and I always make a huge meal like at Thanksgiving. This year I"m thinking I"m doing lots of appetizers, let me know what you think of this menu:

*Hot, Sweet & Sour Meatballs
*Cranberry Glazed Ham
*Steamed Shrimp
*Crab Stuffed Mushrooms
*Praline topped Brie w/assorted crackers
*veggies w/dip
*cookie tray
*white chocolate cheesecake w/raspberry topping

What do you think? Should I add anything else? I was thinking maybe some homemade mac & cheese??? I don't know, it looks like I'm missing something. I think I"m set for desserts and the main stuff. Help!!!! There will be 8 adults and 3 kids.

I'll check back with you all later. I better get some work done before I have to leave for my appointment.

Good morning!!

It's a happy sunny day http://www.millan.net/minimations/smileys/weathersun.gif

It's cold outside -- in the 20's -- but at least the sun is shining and the snow is crisp and white. I hate when it turns into brown slush http://www.millan.net/minimations/smileys/gotcha.gif

I did my workout in 2 parts last night -- cardio first, followed by dinner, followed by a l-o-n-g phone conversation with my sister ;( , followed by 4DS chest and back. Would someone please remind me that my elbow is still sore and that I shouldn't go heavy on chest flys :p . I ^ed my weight last night and it was a big mistake x(

This is the last week of my 4DS rotation and I need to figure out what I'm going to do next. I'm thinking about going back to endurance work...or should I stick with heavy? I have no clue http://www.millan.net/minimations/smileys/ruminating.gif

Augie -

>Well, I woke up to.....Guh! guh! guh! guh! guh!

Oh yeah, I know exactly what you're talking about -- LMAO!! So, was it new kitty food or a bunny tail? http://planetsmilies.net/kaos-animal-bunny-smiley-6082.gif

Do I remember Oogi!? Of course I do!! We've missed Oogi tales around here and It's been so long since you've mentioned her that I was beginning to wonder if you cut ties  . So, what are the special colored flowers? LMAO!!

Jennifer - IMAX 3  ...I bow to your greatness. Hey, This is Cardio Hateville! What in the world are you doing!? :p :7

I hope you don't get anymore snow. Shoveling twice in one day is completely unacceptable.

Dana - A bedroom community is just another name for a "suburb" -- lol!! Are you counting the days until your break? Do you have any big plans for your time off?

Doh! The phone -- the frigging PHONE @%$^#$@

I'll BBL :*

ETA Okay, I'm back :p

Back to Dana - Your menu looks delicious :9 ! What time should I be there!? But you're right -- it does need some sort of starchy pasta or potato dish. How about some kind of cheesy potato dish? I'd do that because it's less work than mac and cheese. You can buy those cubed potatoes in the refrigerator section then all you have to do is mix them up and bake them. If you boil pasta you'll have another pan to wash ;( .

Okey dokey, I need to get some breakfast. I'm going to try and get my workout done early today because DH and I are probably going out for dinner tonight. I'll BBL :*

The other day, while I was waiting for my deskunking to process, I was flipping through a magazine when OMG!, I came across the best recipe!! So I tore it out of the magazine and stuffed it into my purse. Don't you just hate people who tear pages out of magazines!? :p }(

Grilled Cheese and Fruit Sandwich

Ingredients:

8 slices white or egg bread, cut ½ inch thick (I will use whole grain bread)
2 Tbsp. softened butter
¼ cup fig or plum jam
4 oz. thinly sliced Havarti or Monterey Jack cheese
1 small pear or apple, thinly sliced
2 Tbsp. sliced almonds or chopped pecans, toasted

Preparation:
1.
Spread one side of each bread slice lightly with softened butter. Spread other side of 4 of the bread slices with jam. Top jam side of bread with cheese. Top cheese with fruit and nuts. Top with remaining bread slices, butter side up.

2. Preheat an indoor electric grill. Place sandwiches on grill rack. If using a covered grill, close lid. Grill sandwiches until bread is golden brown and cheese is melted (3 to 4 minutes for a covered grill; 6 minutes for an uncovered grill, turning once half way through grilling). Or, place sandwiches on a griddle over medium heat. Cook 5 to 6 minutes or until golden and cheese is melted, turning once.

Makes 4 sandwiches.

Each Sandwich 400 cal, 20 g fat (4g sat. fat), 50 mg chol, 528 mg sodium, 46 g carb, 3 g fiber, 13 g protein.

September 2007 Better Homes and Gardens

Michele that sounds really good. I love Havarti Dill cheese. Yum.

I was at the dr's today and while waiting I was looked through the Dec Better Homes & Garden and there was a recipe for a beef brisket that sounded good but I didn't steal it. :p

Gosh, why were you at the doctor's? Are you alright!? :* :*

Reading all your posts is making me nungry. Seville's paws are blcoking my monitor so it's hard to type.

Everything soudns good, so what's time is dinner?

Ok, I hate IMAX3. It's one of those workouts that I don't relate to. Maybe, if I preview it for 3 more times. That might work....
I did that with BM2 awhile back, but I like that workout alot.
BUT, I love Fridays cause it's my dayoff!!!!
