Hey there,

Sorry I didn't come by yesterday. I don't know why I was busy,..what on earth was I doing? Actually, I had a couple little things to do yesterday that ended up with me and my work partner waiting a ton, and then all of a sudden the day was gone!

Thanks! I had a nice birthday. My actual bday was with my family, and the day after was spent celebrating with friends. My family took me out for sushi and hmm, I GUESS somebody must have mistakenly thought that I wouldn't like to eat cake after sushi. http://bestsmileys.com/expressions/6.gif But I'll forgive, as they all must have been mighty jetlagged.

But with that and Aunt Flo on my a$$ (ewww, LOL), I was raging for cake by the 29th. Lucky for me, I had many opportunities to have cake and ice cream! And I took every single opportunity to my advantage.

The best was discovering a branch of COLD STONE ice cream.

So, this is still a workout check in, right? Does anyone here in Hateville still workout? Nyuck, nyuck. Yesterday I did Tracey Stahle Sweatfest Step. I'm finally beginning to know this workout and I swear, it gets harder every time. I also did the extra ab work included and could not complete it. It is sooo hard. So today I think I'll give my poor tired legs and butt a rest an do an upper body workout. I'm debating over PUB and one of the GS. We'll see.

Thank GOD, it's Friday Eve for the Holiday weekend.
Saturday, I'm driving up to northern MI for a family reunion at my parent's house.
Sunday, home to relax and to laundry, yard work, etc..
Monday to Schipschewana IN to the Amish Flea Market.
Hatevile, working out??? I've been walking 3-5 miles every night. Ths show, Fat March, kept me going. Although, I'm still not in shape for the 4 Day Split.
On Sept 10-14th, I'm on vacation. Working on the house, my cats need to see the vet so they'll be hating me for at least one day, and see my own doctor.

I have a couple of Tracey's workouts but I haven't used them yet -- surprise surprise:p . I have one from her last series -- Sculptfest I think, and a core workout from her first series. The problem is, I have bought so many DVD's over the past year that I haven't even taken some of them out of the wrappers yet:eek: . I just pre-ordered her Parts Series, too. The clips look really good and I like her personality.

Dana - I want you to notice that I haven't done any fancy typing today, but Robin did. Robin did it...not me:p :p :p . Have classes started up in your school district yet? My sister's school started 2 weeks ago and she said it's been so hot that students are complaining of headaches and some have vomited. She said it was 95 degrees in her classroom the other day:eek: . I mean jeez, you'd think they'd cancel classses when it's that hot!

Hiya!

I took my car in for an oil change and a few minor repairs, fully expecting to shell out several hundred dollars, so I was thrilled when I escaped with a bill for $18. That's it...just $18. OMG I hope they didn't miss anything :eek: :eek: :eek: -- LMAO!!

I need to face the reality that my elbow is not getting better and I should probably have it checked in earnest. I've been in a great deal of pain over the past 2 or 3 days that seems to progress to my shoulder, then my neck, ultimately bringing about migraine headaches. This happened today so I iced my arm, took some Ibuprofen, and then took a nap. I feel a lot better now but this is the pattern. I've been doing all the recommended rehab treatments but I think I'm going to need the cortisone injection after all. Honestly, I just want to cry. It's all so stupid. I played a silly game for about 10 minutes and I've been in pain ever since -- going on about 6 or 7 weeks now. It's so frustrating http://bestsmileys.com/frustrated/9.gif

There -- I'm done feeling sorry for myself. Sorry to be such a downer;)

Jennifer -- OMG I've been to Shipshewana many times!! I haven't been in several years but we used to love to go there. Is it still so touristy? The last few times we visited the place was packed with tour buses -- the shops were packed and the lines for every restaurant were miles long ;( . It's a fun place, though. We always enjoyed shopping in Yoder's Dept Store http://www.yoderdepartmentstore.com/ and Yoder's Meat and Cheese Company http://www.yodersmeatshoppe.com/. They have the best yogurt cheese (made in Ohio Amish country, I might add;) ). I've never been to the Flea Market but I'm sure I'd love it. That whole area around Shipshewana is beautiful country. I can't wait to hear about your flea market finds!!

High Five to Shelley on your SO. My potential one, I haven't heard from since I turned him down gently last Saturday. Ans, Shelley, thank you for all you did concerning Dave.

The Shipschewana Flea Market is mostly done by outsiders but the church owns the land and manages it. I'm going to hit some local spots since a friend of mine went to Eastern Menonite University in PA. Yoders, I know extended family of, we only go to the original market and not the others. It will be crowded mainly with cars and horses since the buses come during the week like for the Red Hat Society. It's fun and worth it. We hit Wanna Cup and E&A too.
It's tradition that my friend and I go annually. Just like the Highland Festival in Alma.
