Cathlete
Morning Fit Ladies -

This morning I did Mindy Mylrea's Kicbutt Bootcamp. I did 30 min of the Step portion and about 10 minutes of the floor portion, as well as warm up and cool down. I did MTV Pilates Ab routine (only 5 min). I wanted to do more abs, but I ran out of time. I'll have to do them on Friday and Sunday. Can't seem to get up that half hour earlier these days.

Well it's back to the old grind today. My next concert isn't until Halloween....Chili Peppers.

I was just checking out the Butts & Gutts rehersal pics. I wonder when we'll have these in our hands with a rotation using them posted.

Megadoo - Take care of that cold.

Ann - Sorry your father isn't doing well.

Charlotte - Did you get my PM yesterday? I haven't heard from you. I'll be at work today, so if you respond, you may email me at work cuz it's easier for me to get away with reading an email than being online. I'm gonna go check out BPAL.org and see if any of the Carnivale orders started shipping yet. I'm dying for my stuff. The Black Moon Limited is up. I guess a Black Moon is similar to a Blue Moon. A Blue Moon is when there are 2 full moon's in one month and a Black Moon is when there are 2 new moon's in one month (I think). Here's the descriptions in case you're interested (they both sound yummy). THe Halloween update's on the 28th. I hope I sell some Ebay stuff this weekend:

Black Moon: Beth?s Creation
The absence of light: motia attar, black orchid, mugwort, English pear, cucumber, blue lotus, jonquil, massoia, calamus and crystal musk.

Schwarzer Mond: Brian?s Creation
The keeper of secrets: opoponax, Tunisian black amber, night musk, antique patchouli, zdravetz, terebinth, myrrh, and Pimenta racemosa.

Have great workouts everyone and I'll try to check in from work...although not sure if I'll be able to.

Good Morning,
Today I plan on doing Straight Up Step, treadmill, abs, Yoga/stretching. I actually am up and around a little earlier so maybe I can get in some of the projects I wanted to do today.

Maeghan, I hope your cold clears up soon. I keep having one trying to take over it takes a lot out of you. Since Debbie has not seen your question yet I will tell you from my experience with get ripped Slim & Lean, that these are very much endurance. Debbies rotation called for S&H and GS which are not. If you have any workouts where you could do less reps/slower pace you could put them together to get in the 15-20 min of weight work for ea. body part. I broke up Slim and Lean myself and used protions as sort of a bonus burn after doing the slower work. I don't know how the other two get Ripped workouts are. I bet Debbie can offer some other suggestions.

I will check back later

Today I had a great cardio session. I started out with All Step, then I did Step & Intervals (skipping the w/u). Wasn't happy with my calorie burn after these two so I did IMAX 2 interval #6, step from #7 and interval #9. Felt great, I had a great workout! Then I did the abs from Cardio & Weights and the stretch.

I was in my zone for 51 minutes (WOO HOO!!) and burned 352 calories. Happy with this!!!

Meaghan - Diane Sue is right, the Jeri series are endurance, it wouldn't work with one body part rotations. Stick with the Pyramids like you said and that should work. If you have Muscle Max add those in as well. Like do Pyramid Bi's and MM Bi's one day and so on. MM works well as an add on with any heavy weight training session. Hope your cold gets better!

Diane Sue - I am ITCHING to do SUS. I need to start practicing it. I hate doing a workout that I don't know and get all confused with. So I thought I'd work on it in the evenings and just do a section at a time until I get it down. I may do this next week, I should have time.

Hope you all have great workouts!

Thanks Diane SUe and Deb! Sounds good. I can't wait to start this rotation. Actually, I can't wait to see the results ha! I am going to start it Monday.

I might try SLim and Lean today, to see what it is like. I should do some cardio, but still, I will see how I feel later.

Lora- that Black Moon sounds NICE! Blue Moon too. I just may have to check these out. I have been trying to refrain from buying anything, but one of these might be a nice treat!

Well, I am planning on a total body tonite and a 1/2 hr cardio.
I am trying to hit the diet hard and really watch. I have been tired and really slacking lately just whipping stuff up for dinner.

What is a blue moon? Just sounds good.
DH is seeing some results. He finally said something.
Oh, I love the rubber coated weights. When you sit them on your leg it isn't like slamming metal on you.

I did the above planned workout, 2 miles on the treadmill, I did 3 sets of the usual Barbell rollouts on toes, hanging knee raise 10 reps w/15# ball, kneeling bowflex crunches, Core Max #3, Shatki dancing warriors and supine poses, X stretch for 30 min..

Anne, that's great that your dh is noticing your progress.

Debbie, I know how you feel about new choreography. That is why I generally add on some treadmill or something. I pretty much have it down now though.

I did SLim and LEan. I really liked it! My shoulders were worked really well. I actually had to drop down in weights for them. I liked the ab moves alot, but wish the segment was longer.

Hi everyone!
I have to say i love Slim and lean, and ripper to the core! I have replaced all of my heavy lifting, except one day a week with these. They work for me, but my goals are not to grow muscle, just to stay 'slim and lean'-ha!
Glad to hear everyone is well.
Tonight, i'll do slim and lean, some abs, and some lower body work, i find the ripped ab stuff not so great!
have a great day everyone,
Steph
