Morning Maniacs -

Back from vacation. Off to do some cardio and maybe some yoga. Brooklyn has an early morning vet appt to get her declawed.....so I have to cut it a bit short today. Will be back later.

Good Morning Maniacs!!!

I have plenty to do here today. I have to dig up the yard and get a flower bed in, organize garage and do some errands. The work in the yard will be my workout today...back work. We have new neighbors behind us now. Just moved in yesterday. There are a few new homes that are vacant around us so someone snatched the one. DD didn't know and had been undressing in her room a few nights ago.x( :eek:

I ended up doing Cardio Coach 2 on the Treadmill and Elliptical followed by Knockout boxing workout with Laila Ali & Sugar Ray. Cardio totaled 60" and I burned 420 calories. I also did Moodlift Yoga 30".

This boxing workout was fun, my HR stayed pretty elevated (but I just did CC also). I listened to my own music. It is really short -- coming in at only 25 minutes with W/U, C/D and short ab segment. I did the advanced one today and I'll probably string both the beginners and advanced one together in the future for a workout.

I haven't had time to catch up on things around here just yet. Looks like everyone is doing fine.

Ate too much on vacation! I'll need to workout hard to combat that!

Good Morning, today is legs and cardio. I ordered Sweatfest Kickbox and keep hoping it will arrive so I can do it as my second Kickbox workout this week.

Lora, good to have you back. I hope everything goes well at the vet. What is your favorite Kickbox workout out of all of them you have?

Charlotte, that would be creepy finding out you had neighbors there before you got your windows covered. Have fun putting in your flower beds.

I finished my workout. I started with Tracey Staehle's Kickbox challenge stopping after the cardio then ran 3.25 miles on the treadmill, I then did the M&F rotation legs and calves, I went back to the Tracey workout and finished out the strength work because I have never done the entire workout. I thought my hamstring was going to cramp doing the hamstring work at the end. They were already fatigued from the M&F work.
M&F rotation-
Squats Bowflex 160# 15 reps 3 sets
leg press Bowflex 310# 15 reps 3 sets
leg extension Bowflex 140# 20 reps 1set, 120# 20 reps 2 sets
lying leg curl Bowflex 60# 20 reps 3 sets
standing calf raise 35# dumbbells 15 reps 3 sets
leg press calf raise Bowflex 310# 15 reps 2 sets
seated calf raise 85# 20 reps 2 sets

Diane Sue - My favorite kickbox used to be CIA - Criss Cross Cardio with Sherri Jacquelyn (as a non-Cathe workout). It sort of combines kickbox with hi/lo and has a standing leg/capoiera segment. Not sure if you'd like her....but I love the workout. I now also love Kimberly Spreen in the new CIA - Absolute Kickbox. It has a kickbox segment and combat segment with the body bar (which is fun - and the music is really good!). Other than that, I also like Tracey Staehle's new one....but see you ordered it and one I got from Fitness Organica called the One Two Punch. The latter combines boxing combos with plyo segments, jump rope segments and one segment on the step.

I've got to try to figure out what sort of rotation I'm going to do now that I'm finished with Barry's.

I just got back from the arts festival and dinner. Got chicken stirfry on rice. It was so greasy:( Sun came out and we roder on the motorcycle.
