Quick check in! This morning, I did GS legs (standing) and several of the floor routines mainly targeting my I/O thighs and hip raise. Then I did S&H biceps, bbl;)

Hey Teddy! That sounds like a nice workout. I usually end up doing standing and all of the floor work when I do legs and it gets to be obnoxiously long.

Speaking of that, did B&G in its entirety today. I was going to put off the ab work until later but I had some stuff to do today so I went ahead and did it. That is some of my favorite ab work, though. I love the weighted sit ups. I think I burned 576 (or something close to that) calories.

I had something else to say but memory is failing. I need more coffee- dragging today. BBL.
 
Hi Patti I ran out of time and couldn't finish SH tri's. Maybe that's a good thing, cuz, my tri's our on fire this morning. Me :D thinking from yesterday's SH back, pullovers, I used a 20lb db.

I love Butts & Guts, one of my favorites;) Did you get your ups notices yet? I'm waiting for ups dude now:rolleyes::p

Morning Crazies! TGIF!!!!!!!!!! This morning I did CLX Burn Circuit #3. Had a great workout.

Anyone doing anything fun for the Superbowl? Any good food ideas without breaking the fat cells? I like to snack that day and don't want to ruin all my hard work. I do love me a good mayo/cream cheese/ect. dip combo:eek::eek: Probably should opt for a ff yogurt something or other, ya think? lol..

Patti and Teddy- I bet you guys are excited to finally get STS! I didn't order, so I'll have to live it through all of you.
 
Last workout until Feb. 2nd. Looking forward to my new rotation!

Today was cardio and I just did a 30 minute workout and a stretch. I chose Cardio Coach #3 and did well with it, but my breathing was so off. Same with Wednesday. Not sure why? I felt like I was going to hyperventalate when I got up to my zone 4 levels.

I did the stretch from Butts & Guts to..

Cardio stats:
35 minutes
3 minutes below zone
14 in zone
18 above zone
286 calories burned

I have a quick minute to post my workout before the craziness starts. Today was shoulders and triceps and cardio.

Shoulders & Triceps

Does anybody know why I have this in my shoulder workout? :p Is it more for upper back? Or is it for the back of your shoulders? I think I added it in when I wasn't able to do overhead presses after my shoulder injury/rehab.

These are getting easier. I might drop the 65# out and jump right into the 70#.

The 20# with my right arm is almost too heavy with my shoulder. I can feel the pain in the front. I have to really watch my form. Because of that I did one extra set with my right arm, dropping down to 17.5# just to make sure I worked my tricep really good.

Tricep Bench Dips - No Weight
3 Sets of 20 - Straight Legs

Cardio - Spinervals "Dropping the Hammer" - It's an hour and something... can't remember exactly (2 minutes or 4 minutes).

I will be starting my workouts again today! Will be doing GS legs.

We go to a local pub to watch the Superbowl. It's one of our regular hangouts and the owner puts on a buffet type deal upstaris for the regular crowd and shows the game on a 10 foot screen. DH already told him he would have to feed me before we go as I won't eat the food that will be served. :p They will have a veggie tray though!

Dally's...I've used yogurt as a dip and I mix it with honey and vanilla. This actually goes better with fruit and cheese but I suppose you can dip it w/veggies too...just never tried it that way.

Meals for today...
M1: 5 eggwhite veggie/cheese omelet, cup of berries, 1/2 wg bagel
M2: protein drink, banana, almonds
M3: 5 oz tuna, cucumbers and carrots
M4: 1/2 cup lowfat cottage cheese w/pineapple
M5: Protein drink (post-workout)
M6: white roughy and salad

Went to chiropractor this morning and actually feel alittle worse right at the moment, but sometimes that is to be expected as things are trying to work themselves out so was gonna do plyo's today, but think that might not really be smart so I am just gonna do Cardio Coach #4. Be back with stats later.

I am really running late getting things done today. Did not sleep well at all. I got up at 3:30 and took some aspirin and went back to bed. Slept a little later this morning. I have my grandbaby here and took the girls to school this morning. My knee hurt so bad I didn't do any cardio today. I did Gym Style Back, Shoulders and Biceps, then I did Amy Bento's 10 minute solution figure 8 upper tone and segment with my Cathe heavy 8 band, an followed with Amy's 10 minute solution Tone Trouble Zones arm and shoulder segment with my purple dynaband, and stretch. I followed with Stott Pilates Foam roller challenge,some foam rolling, yoga solutions post cycle segment. Total calories burned was 601 60% fat.
No breakfast this morning. After my workout I ate the last two turkey meatballs from last night. Now I am having a salad with spinach, albacore tuna, and Southbeach Ranch dressing.

Charlotte, I hope the chiropractor helps. I keep having this problem with my left knee.:mad: I was hoping to start STS next week.

Still felt a bit tired this morning when I got up, so I scratched the plans for Newport. I ended up doing LIC, thinking it would be a easy workout. What a lousy memory...although the weights were easy, it was the gazillion reps that kept killing me. :p I skipped the abs, so workout was about 1:06 and I burned 466 calories.

Going to the massage therapist tonight! Oh yeah!:cool:

- Sorry you are still having so much trouble with your knee. Especially with STS coming. Hope it gets better soon!

Evening! My STS is only two hours away and isn't coming until Monday. Drat! :mad:

I took a nap this afternoon- just felt run down. Sometimes I think I need to skip working out Wednesday mornings and sleep in (just a mid-week break) but then I never do. I just don't feel like myself if I don't get up and workout. I'm sure you all understand that. ;)

Food today:
B: Protein pancake
L: Salad
Snack: Recipe below
D: ??
Snack: Berries and yogurt

I know this recipe sounds weird, but it's quite good- my DS eats it and I figure it is a better dessert than most other choices.

Wheat berries dessert
1 cup of dry wheat berries soaked overnight (I skip the soaking)
1 can of crushed pineapple 19oz (look for no sugar added)
1 can of mandarin oranges 10oz
6 tbsp of fat free sour cream
1 small pkg of fat free / sugar free vanilla instant pudding

Cook wheat in water for 2 hours at a low boil, making sure that it does not boil dry. You can continue to add water if needed.

Cool and combine with undrained pineapple and oranges (which I do drain). Add sour cream and pudding. Mix well. Refrigerate for several hours or overnight before serving.
 
I just had dinner which ended up being okra,celery, tomatoes, garlic, Old Bay seasoning(had to try to break it up and the bottom fell out of the container so I guess it is trash),fresh ground pepper, and shrimp. I then added brown rice. One of those things I just mix and throw together when I have no clue what I am going to make LOL My Keli Roberts dvd cracked in the center today when I was taking it out to use it:confused: So I ordered Lawrence Bisconti's foam roller workout. It is 1 hour of foam roller work. Made by Power Systems. It has myofascial work and other work. I have had my eye on this for a long time. I ordered mine from Collage. I love my foam roller:) It really rolls out the kinks:D

Patti, that is too bad your STS dvd's are so close and you can't have them. I understand the need to workout as part of your day. That recipe sounds yummy. I will have to write that one down too:D

Linda, I think when I am ready to do all of Newport I have to have lots of energy stored up. LOL on LIC. I have been revisiting that one with upper body and it is not so easy. I do love the band work in that one. Enjoy your time with the massage therapist. I hope you come back better.

Teddy, I hope I get this knee thing out of the way soon. It is frustrating. Went to pick up my grandson from school and it hurt a lot driving. It is something to do with the sitting position. I sat on a bar stool a lot for two days working on paperwork and it hurt so bad hanging off the stool:confused: I am hoping that it improves the next few days. Really am not wanting to have it checked out at the doctors.

- You will definitely have to tell me how the Lawrence Bisconti dvd is. I was eyeing that up too!
 
Limda, I have wondered if the Lwrence Biscontini dvd has not had reviews because of cost. Not a huge demand for foam roller and myofascial work. I just think not many have figured out how helpful foam rolling is. Anyway if I really like it I will post a review.
