Good Morning All

Today was GS BSB for me. I raised my weights so now I did all the same weights as Cathe, except the concentration curls, still at 12# for the first set and 15# for the second. But I'm okay with that:) I also tacked on MIC hi/lo only today, I had some extra time, and the kids were behaving. I also didn't want to do cardio and leg work tommorow, I prefer to do cardio not on leg days!

Gin- I think BC is definately worth buying. Mostly for you because of the premixes! You probably have the same basic workout. But on the dvd you also get ME which I hate/love because its so gosh darn:) hard!!!

Tracee- I am in the process now of changing my videos to dvd. I had purchased a few dvds and then Cathe had her video sale, I ended up getting a few more workouts, then someone on the forum sold me the rest of Cathes collection I didn't have for 5$ each!!! So now I have the whole collection, but like you want the dvds for the premixes. I am slowly changing over, wishing I could just do it all at once!!! I just got CTX and rythmic step on dvd. The next presale, I will get S&H and Circuit Max/ Cardio Kicks on dvd! Looking forward to that!! I'm not good at waiting. I'm mostly an immediate gratification person!!

Deanie-- We must have been posting at the same time. I started the thread also. I am jealous that you bought the dvds for $5! What a deal!!!

Later,

Good Morning ladies!

I wasn't sure which post to reply to since they were started at the same time but I see that Gin responded here so I'll continue on this one.

I did BSB from the Pure Strength DVD. This is one of my least favorite ones just because it's dated but I wanted a faster pace than S&H for some reason this morning.

Good job Deanie for being able to match Cathe's weights, that must be an awesome feeling!! I'm quite a ways away from that goal but I'll be sure to let everyone know if and when I get there. Ha!

That's cool that you picked up the videos for $5 each, what a great deal. How many more do you have to go before you've replaced them all with DVD's?

What's on the schedule tomorrow? Isn't it a run and then something else? I'll have to figure out which cardio I want to sub in there but I don't think I'll be doing CF with Gin since it's 80 minutes long.....:p

Have fun with that one Gin and I'll be anxious to hear how it was.

Have a great Wednesday. It's my first day back to work since last Friday and it's so hard to get back into the swing of things.

Good morning ladies:)
This week is the last week of this rotation for me. I am seeing good results:)I wonder what next month rotation is going to be Today is GS BSB and B&G abs. Yesterday I did B&g leg blast and I am so sore today! Hope you all had a merry xmas!

Hi all,

Still here,LOL!

Gin- funny we posted the same time:) Let us know how CF mix and max was! I may do it on Fri. if it was fun! or I may do A-Jocks Guilt Killer Mish Mosh version 2. It uses old and new dvds!

Tracee- I still have a few to go: step jam, power max, step max, PH, MIS, BM1, S&H, PS(not sure about going to dvd for this one) Circuit Max and CK, are what I have in video and still need to replace. I really want to replace S&H because I am thinking of doing it next month, but I know I have to wait!!:)

have a good day everyone!!

Tracee--You could do Cardio Fusion Mixed Cardio (41 min.) if you want a shorter cardio w/o. I think all of the CF w/o are intense and get your HR up.

Deanie--Okay...you have my curiousity up....please explain A Jocks Guilt Killer Mish Mosh version 2.

Gin

Gin - Thanks for the suggestion, I might just do that. I love Cardio Fusion and 41 minutes would be perfect for my schedule.

Anybody know where Gayle has been? I know she was sick the last time she checked in but I thought we'd hear from her by now.

Gin,
A-Jock posts some really hard but really fun mish moshes. Here is her last post that included the new dvds.

Good evening, sportsfans!

Following are a series of mish-moshes incorporating Cathe's new releases (which I dearly wish she would give a series name!) and using my new fave technique, the "merry-go-round". In the merry-go-round technique, you need a 5-disc player that resumes playing a specific disc where you left off if it's in the middle of a chapter; you do chapters or portions for each disc in quick succession, cycle back do the first disc and then do different chapters or portions from the same discs again in quick succession, and so on. It's a way to make a real salad of drills from several workouts without having to do all from one disc then all from the next disc etc.

These mish-moshes are cardio-only in focus; at a later date I'll put up some cardio/circuit-style mish-moshes using the merry-go-round concept. They make heavy use of premixes, and you'll need to keep your remote handy and make sure you don't confuse the chapter-skip button with the disc-skip button (which I've done). They are not for the impact-averse; in fact, if impact is an issue these MMs are probably not the right ones for you. They are also longer in length; feel free to shorten them up as you see fit.

I tried the first one this past Monday, "The Guilt-Killer Version 1.0", and it lived up to its title.
