Default Daily Check In, Sunday November 25th

Good morning all,

Feeling pretty sluggish today, don't really feel like doing much of anything to be honest, I think I am over the Thanksgiving holiday completely. I am making a London Broil today, no TURKEY!
Hopefully we will be finishing up the tree and I should start wrapping the gifts at some point between football games today.

I think I may do Amys' new hi/lo today and some ab hits for some inspiration to get my rear in gear!

Have a great day, back to work tomorrow.

Good Morning Glories!

I've got DM Cardio LegBlast premix on tap for this morning. The boys are all leaving shortly and my plans for the rest of the day include some CleanMax and some LaundryMax.

Conni ~ WOW! You have xmas gifts to wrap already? I haven't even made a list yet :o

Wendy ~ I don't know if you have decided to race or not...but GOOD LUCK!!!!

Good morning.

Conni, I think I will be doing Amy's slo mo today. I need a weight WO so I figured I'd try it.

Tammy, scrambled eggs is an 80 min premix and it goes like this:
warm up
step combo 1
power circuit 1(step, blast, lunges)
step combo 2
pwr circuit 2(step,blast,squats)
step combo 3
pwr circt 3(step,blast,plie squats)
bonus cardio
repeat bonus cardio
pwr circt 4(step,blast,static lunges)
stretch
I really like it except for the cardio repeat at the end. I get a little weary of the same routine. I do like the music though.

Phyllis,
I love the Slo Mo workouts. I am probably going to do one tomorrow, as I seem to doing a split routine month this time out for my rotation, and I have been very consistent with these routines. Let us know what you think.

Actually I am pretty much finished with my shopping, I did all of it online and it was pretty efficient for me that way, and some of our gift ideas this year were pretty easy ( ie for our in laws we gave them a season's worth of snow plowing service, which we had to give them early, but that was accomplished in a few phone calls..) and my DH mentioned getting a riding lawn mower last summer, but I am giving him the cash for it on xmas, wrapped up in a box with a toy John Deere Lawn Tractor. He will be shocked that I even remembered his idea, much less allowing him to have the fun of shopping for it early. I hope he likes it.

I did do Amy's Hi/lo today and Cathe's ab hits. I really like this hi/lo more than the first one.

Good Afternoon Girls!

Yes Tammy, I ran the race this morning. :-) A great bunch of women convinced me that I was up to the task and gave me the kick in the rear I needed to stop being a weenie and just GO FOR IT! And that's exactly what I did!:-)

I ran a semi-hilly 15k in an unofficial time of 1:41:39. EXCELLENT time for me. I'm very very happy!

Rest tomorrow...I think I've earned it. ;) LOL

Great work outs girls!

Have a great afternoon. :-)

Congrats Wendy! Yes, you deserve a rest!

Tammy, it's on BM2. Yea, it's a killer ,but it's nice having the cardio breaks. Even though you're still moving by doing the lunges and squats, it gives you a chance to catch your breath!

Conni, I did the slo mo chest/bis/tris wo. I really liked it. Her moves are way different from Cathe's.I did not like the very first exercise where you are laying on the bench holding 8 lb weights and you have to bring your arms out to a fly position and then over your head. Its just felt wrong to me. I'm sure I'll be feeling sore tomorrow!

Phyllis,

I do that one with five pounds because the lever is longer than normal and I can protect my elbow joints better that way. I get the full benefit of that exercise, believe me!
