Morning Girls!

Well I just ordered P90X+, a set of their resistance bands and the recovery drink. I already use a recovery drink and will need more so while I was there I figured I try theirs. It costs the same as the one I have and you get the same amount so what the heck, right?

Today will be a run. I am leaning towards Itread #21 run intervals at this point.

What's on tap for you ladies today?

Morning girls

It looks like I'm off to spend some $$$ at beachbody after I'm done with this post. Woooohoooo! I got on the scale this morning and I REALLY didn't want to since I had 4 days of no logging of eats and lots of treats. The scale put up a 1.5 pound gain, which was to be expected. At least I should be able to tackle that off pretty quickly, but the last 3 weeks in a row were gains.:-( x( }(

I think I'm going to tackle supersets today with an extra ab routine TBD. I also am hoping to get some of this Christmas spirit boxed back up and put away.

Wendy - Thanks for the heads up on the plus. You'll have to let me know if that drink is all it's cracked up to be. I hardly ever use protein drinks or bars...mostly because I always forget. I gotta get back in the habit of having a protein before and after my workouts. I used to just eat a half can of tuna before and after. I need my routine back with my eating.

I used to do protein drinks/bars for the longest time post work out. During my first go-round of the X though, I found myself simply EXHAUSTED all of the time. I have heard that recovery drinks help with this and they re-charge for the next day's work out as well as tone down DOMS some. I have been using a brand of recovery drink by Hammer called Recoverite and have to say that I feel it certainly does what it claims to! I was due to purchase more anyway so since I was ordering the X+ and the prices on the Recovery drinks were the same I figured I'd try thiers this time. I'll see which one I like better between the 2 now. I've also gotten into natural food bars like Larabars. They are a great clean snack loaded with protein and fiber!

So did you buy anything else while on the BB site??? }(




My run is done-ITread 21 run intervals/30 mins. Great work out!
I will get my yoga in at nap time. Tomorrow I'm planning a core work out. Hopefully I'll have the gusto for Core Syn.

Hey Wendy -

I have been meaning to check out those larabars. Are they expensive? I'm trying to eat as clean as possible, but it is a challenge! I wish I was as dedicated to my eating as I am to working out.

I just bought P90X+ and then got a confirmation for 2 orders. The original order...the one I actually placed....ends up being $74.04 with shipping and tax. Then I got another confirmation for $169.63 for the +, plus bands, plus lifetime warranty. }( I was like...WTF? I got on the phone and they told me I would have to wait 4 hours for them to get the info and I would have to call back then. Well, miss patience couldn't wait that long. So, I got on the chat and got the problem fixed with a chat rep. At least, I hope it's fixed. She said I would get a copy of our converstion via email and have yet to get it.}( I don't know how that happened b/c you have to go thru so many danged screens to actually place the order....so how the heck could you place 2 different ones without knowing???? I tell ya, that site if mucked up. I'm gonna be some kind of P.O.'ed if my CC is charged twice.

Well, now that my juices are flowing I'd better go and put them to good use and start the laundry and cleaning.

HAH! I ordered and never got a confirmation email! I just checked my account though and there is only ONE charge pending and it's the correct amount. PHEW! I hope they fix it for you girl! There have been many a complaint about ordering from BB but thankfully I've never run into a problem.

I ordered my larabars from www.drugstore.com cause I'm too lazy to go to a wholefoods or healthfood store to find them. LOL I don't remember how much they were but not too bad IMO. Pretty much in line with any protein/energy bar you might buy. You can check out the cost on the site even if you opt not to buy them that way.

Hi Ladies,

I've been lazing around all morning. It's time to stop talking about putting all the xmas stuff away and get to it. I'm going to send the boys out to shovel while I work inside taking everything down and putting it away. Honestly, it shouldn't take that long once we get started. It's the getting started that is taking way too long!

DH and I had a great time at the AVS game last night even though we lost to the Redwings.x( I always enjoy my alone time with DH, and it's never enough IMO.

A long cardio is on tap for today. I'm leaning towards SJP/SB 90 min cardio. Cardio fusion is also sounding good. I'll decide once I get all the xmas stuff packed up and back downstairs.

I've been toying with ordering the x+ but just haven't brought myself to actual purchase it yet. I'm disappointed it doesn't have any leg w/o, other than the total body and my legs need more work than anything else.

Angie-I'm not sure if you shop at Costco, but they usually carry lara bars. Enjoy your cardio! I'm trying to get more cardio in too-esp. while I'm off work.

Wendy-You'll have to fill me in on the x+. I almost bought more bands when I bought my core disc at Target. Did they give you an expected delivery date?

Laura-you must be busy at work today. Are you back to your lunch w/o's and afterwork classes?
