CABs n' Abs ==> The Sunday Special

RunninTeach

Cathlete
Good morning, everyone!

I am up almost my usual time, but that's OK with me. I have a lot to do today. My workout this morning will be a run + a B&G mishmosh. I forgot to mention last night that I did Supersets premix #14 u/b only and a 2 mile interval run. I really liked that Supersets premix - it was quick but did the job. Will be coming back to that one again. http://www.infohub.com/forums/images/smilies/divka_in_love.gif

Diana :: that's great for Jerod's team! DH's approach to cars makes sense to me. I did buy my car new, but it's paid off and I plan to drive it for many years. The car I had before that I drove for almost 10 years...I love Thai food, but my one friend who was an "adventurous" eater moved to FL. I don't think there's anything far-out about Thai food, but it's amazing how many people won't give it a chance. One of my friends doesn't eat "anything with too many colors." *lol*

Enjoy your Sunday!

Hi Ladies. http://smileys.on-my-web.com/repository/Signs/bugs-bunny.gif

I am all over the board as to weather I should work out today or not and if I DO work out, what I will do. Instead of boring you with the details, I will just update you when I FINALLY figure it out!http://smileys.on-my-web.com/repository/Laughing/lol-021.gif

I am off to shop this afternoon with my mom. I need to buy Joey a new wardrobe and shoes DESPERATELY. My mom needs to buy the growing boy a new car seat for her car as well as a gift for one of my sister's girl's Birthdays. That's the only definate plan on tap for me today.

Cathy: Enjoy your work out today. B&G is a killer...it's the BEST, isn't it!? http://smileys.on-my-web.com/repository/Happy/happy-smile-012.gif

Time to go refill the coffee mug...I'll be back later girls!

Wendy :: *lol* at your smiley. These things are addicting, aren't they? I know I saw more of the little girl smileys somewhere, but I don't know where. They're adorable...And don't worry about boring us here! This is the one place you could talk nonstop about fitness and workouts, and nobody minds!!

I ran 5 miles and followed that with a B&G mishmosh: I did every other exercise starting with deadlifts and ended with the stability ball abs. Whoo! Off to shower and run to Kohl's before settling in with some work.

Have a great day!

Hiya girlz

I'm so glad today is a rest day. I just don't feel like doing my to-do list....I know, what's new? DH and DS's are at grandmas this morning and I'm alone.....ahhhhhhh. Just me and the laptop. LOL!

Yesterday I had a huge craving for candy corn and bought a bag.:9 I knew I shouldn't have done that! Damn that halloween candy!!
I won the Baptiste hot yoga from the power yoga series I think. It only cost me $4 so if I don't like it, no big loss. I also think I'm gonna get his "one on one" w/o too.

Wendy - ebay.....it's a crap shoot for sure. I got burned once but otherwise have had good luck with it. Actually I haven't gotten anything off there for quite some time until recently.
Do you sew yourself? Anything that I have that needs any type of mending gets sent to my mom. LOL! I don't know how to use a sewing maching and I have no intention of learning either.
Yah!...on the cover letters - I'll bet you feel a huge weight off your shoulders.:)
You know you hafta tell us about your w/o plans.....we want to know!!

Cathy - Great w/o today! I'm jealous.....almost makes me want to w/o today...ALMOST.:D
I like supersets too...it's short, sweet, and effective. No premixes for me on that one though...yup, another VHS. That's OK though, b/c it's not too long but premixes are certainly a nice way to be able to mix up the w/o.
I hear you about the rotations. I don't know why the concept didn't click with me earlier. Cathe has tons to choose from too so that I really don't have to waste too much time figuring out what to do.
Great job with the good eating. I think being on a regular schedule helps with that too. And you're right, I was NOT tempted to splurge last night. The quality is just terrible! I did, however, indulge on a piece of carrot cake and some wing dings.x(
So, for your certification, do you have to go every Sat. for this class?
What other check in did you join? You have permission to bow out of that one.....but you can't leave us!!!:p :) ;)
Does that friend of yours, who doesn't like too many colors, boycott M&M's too??:7

Diana - Yeah of Jarods win! Cody's team finally won a game too...14-7. They are now 1-2. It was really fun to watch...actually all of their games have been close so they have all been fun, but it's great to see the enthusiasm after a win.;-)
I agree with your DH about buying a slightly used vehicle. That's what we do too. I have never owned a completely new car and probably never will. It's hard to beat when you can buy a car that still has a warranty and very few miles that is thousands less than a brand new car. I have 2 taurus's right now. One of them, my beater, has 141,000 miles on it. It's not worth selling so I just drive it into the ground....it sounds like a go-cart. I drive it to work which is on a dirt road and never drive it too far from home, just in case it finally decides to crap out. My newer taurus only has about 20,000 miles on it and we use that one for everything else.
Thanks for the workouts! I'll PM you.

Hi Laura and Nancy! Hope you are having a great Sunday!!

Hi Ladies,

I have been up for hours now just reading the paper and drinking my coffee. DH left to meet some friends and they are hanging out before going to the Bronco game. I still need to work out, the rotation calls for BM2. I really don't like the upper body that much so I'm thinking of doing CTX Upper premix instead. I love the cardio of BM2 though so will stick with that.

I've decided to go buy DH a new watch for our 19yr wedding anniversary tomorrow. I also have to go to Costco and to my parents house. I better get busy.

Wendy-Did you get a chance to w/o? What did you do?

Cathy-great job with your run yesterday and your own special premix of l&g or was it B&G?? Someday I would like to buy a brand new car, but at this point in my life it's just not realistic.

Angie-Congratulations to Cody and his team!! If I don't get myself downstairs it will be another day off for me too, and I can't afford it since I took yesterday off. Got your messge btw.

Hello to Laura and Nancy!!!

Diana

Hi Girls.

I ended up taking a rest day today http://smileys.on-my-web.com/repository/Sleepy/sleep-027.gif but I didn't rest. http://www.infohub.com/forums/images/smilies/ihw_lol.gif I went shopping instead!http://www.infohub.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif I pretty much knocked out Joey's entire fall into winter wardrobe with the exception of one pair of shoes I'd like to pick up for him. I got great stuff at awesome prices! He's gonna look sharp and I didn't have to go broke to make it happen. http://www.infohub.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif

I have figured out my work out schedule for the week:

M: GSC&T or P90X C&B
T: Butts n Gutts or P90X L&B
W: Run (Itread intervals work out)
R: GSBS&B or P90X S&A
F: Run (Tread n Tush if possible)
S: Rest
S: 9.5 mile run (my mom already offered to watch Joey if DH has to work-YEAY!)

Cathy: Yes, the smileys ARE addicting and it's all your fault! :p Great job on your run today and following 5 miles up with B&G!? OUCHEES! You'll probably be feelin' this one tmrw!!!}(

Angie: Nope, not a sewer here. I will ask my mom if she can do it, if not I will go to a tailor I guess. Let us know how you like the new yoga vids!

Diana: Nice alone time you are getting today. Good for you. Enjoy it!

Well, gotta go scrape up a quickie dinner for DS and myself (DH isn't hungry right now) and once DH finishes cutting the grass (he's doing it now) and gets a quick shower we will be heading out to visit his cousin for a bit who lives about 10 mins away.

BBL or tomorrow!:+

Hey girls! http://www.millan.net/minimations/smileys/flowerysmile.gif

Angie :: hope you enjoyed your rest day. Were you able to make a dent in that to-do list? If not, ehhh, just remember Miles's motto in Risky Business http://www.infohub.com/forums/images/smilies/laughing.gif ...The class is three hours long, one Saturday a month...I joined the WW check-in, but this morning, I told the supernice group of women there that I regrettably won't be able to keep up with another daily check-in. I don't know what I was thinking. Sometimes it's hard keeping up with this one and the cheetahs! No worries, though ~ you won't be gettin' rid of me anytime soon. http://www.infohub.com/forums/images/smilies/wink3.gif

Diana :: it was a B&G mishmosh...The watch sounds like a lovely anniversary gift. Congrats on 19 years! http://www.millan.net/minimations/smileys/inlove2.gif ...I bought new but I bought modest: a Civic.

Wendy :: this week's rotation looks good...I see Tread n Trush has earned a spot in the mix again...Glad your mom is willing to cover for your long run next week. I can't believe DH will be pulling SEVEN 10-hour shifts. http://www.infohub.com/forums/images/smilies/ai.gif God bless 'im...Well, I only did a B&G mishmosh. Don't think I would have survived the whole thing. *lol*...You can thank Carole for the smiley obsession.

Oh man...how is it Sunday night *already*??? TTY'all in the AM!

Hey there-I'm ashamed to say that I did not workout today. I 've been running errands most of the day. Now I need to cook my food for the week for work and do laundry.

I hope everyone had a great weekend.

Diana

Hi again

Well, I pretty much wasted my day away until about 4:00 when I got the guilties about not getting anything done. So, I grabbed Cam and we tackled his room.:) It's done!! Whew! It feels good to finally have both the boys' rooms done. Now I have the 5th wheel and basement to tackle but certainly not tonight.

DH went fishing and brought home some fresh perch. I will be cooking that up for dinner tomorrow. Yummy! He also brought home a hot homemade apple pie that my mom put in his truck while he was fishing out in the lake they live on. It was sinfully good!!

Diana - Congrats on the 19 years! When exactly is the anniversary date?
Glad to hear everyone is getting over the yucks at your house. I'll bet you are just loving feeling like yourself again.
Thanks for the reminder to get things out of the freezer for dinners next week. I would've forgotten all about that. Looks like fish, chicken, smoked pork chops, and stew for next week.

Wendy - Bargains always make for a good day.:)
Your schedule looks awesome. A 9.5 mile run?? Wow! I'm impressed!

Cathy - The to-do list did get a little shorter today.....but I was definitely thinking about Miles this morning when I had the lazies. *lol*
So glad to hear you aren't leaving us.:) So, how do you like WW?

OK - better get to bed since Manic Monday is just around the corner. Looks like another busy week ahead.

Angie
