Yesterday turned out not to be productive at all. I worked out, had my massage (heavenly!), and made a run to a shop over in PA…and then the crud hit me. http://s228.photobucket.com/albums/ee296/runninteach/getwell/th_achoo.gif I spent most of the day on the couch. Still feel like turds, but I *have* to suck it up & get some work done today. I know there is no way to get it all done, though, so I have to figure out priorities. http://www.raptureforums.com/forum/images/smilies/juggle.gif I’m giving myself just a little bit of quiet morning time and then I’ve gotta dive in.

Angie :: how’d the closet & fridge cleaning go? Any exciting (or terrifying) discoveries? I don’t think it’s lame at all. Bowling and Guitar Hero are my favorites!! I saw your post about iClimbs on the OD forum and responded there, although I wasn’t able to single out a recommendation. They’re all good, IMO. I do really like #27 Ski Circuit. It’s actually an iTread, but I used the EXT and the BOSU…We are just getting rain—lots of it!

Morning cabbers

IA...boo on losing an hour.:( But it was just me and DH here last night so after watching Suze Orman at 9, we went to bed.:eek: LOL! Gotta make use of that time with the kids gone ya know??;-) Besides, I needed the extra calorie burn....romantic huh? *lol*
I have 3 things to do today....the closet, frig, and get my IRA payment ready to send in. As you can see, my day yesterday was not as productive as I wanted either. Today should be better though, since again I am alone (but I don't know for how long) and I don't have a workout scheduled for today. I have some upper body DOMS from BC yesterday so I'm glad about the rest day.

Oh, I didn't know the ski w/o you loved so much was an itrain. Have you tried any of the bootcamp EXT workouts? That's what I'm leaning towards. I think it would be neat to jump off the EXT and do other exercises and then get back on. That sounds challenging.
We're supposed to get rain next week. Hopefully it will be enough to melt this snow. But with my luck, it will just be enough to freeze and then turn to a slippery mess. Yup, they're predicting that too. Ug!

Hey Girls.

The party was fun but I'm a mess this morning. No hangover. I know when to stop to avoid it these days so on that count it's all good BUT...I hate sooooo much cr@p last night so I feel totally bloated and nasty from it. Also, I only got about 3 hours of sleep so I'm totally exhausted! I plan on taking a nap at noon when I put DS down for one. Hopefully I will have the energy to do a work out this afternoon. I NEED IT!!!!

I don't know if I told y'all but DH left early this morning and will be gone most of the week. He went out to New Mexico with his bowling buddies to compete in the national tournament. He does it every year. It's always in a different locale. Pretty cool. Anywho...I get to clean up after one less person this week! YAY! Now if I could only figure out how to get rid of the dog and the kid for a few days I'd be in hog heaven!:7 :p }(

Well, I'm off to guzzle water to help flush out the bloat...

I'll be back after my nap.
 
Whew! Have been working all morning and early afternoon and am stealing a few minutes for a break. :) :) :) Keepin' the fingers movin' as I've got a chill!

Angie :: maybe that was poor choice of words on my part, but it's not the kind of illness that has me bowing to the porcelain gods...thank God!...just a standard bug. :) I'm plannin' on nippin' it...Well, did YOU wear your HRM last night to figure out the calories? :7 I do have a number of iClimbs, including the iBiBoot Camp--it's a 60 min. w/out that downloads in two parts, which I didn't realize. I accidentally only uploaded the 2nd part to my iPod and did that one recently. Even just half of it makes for quite the sweatfest! I have a couple of iTreads, too, but I have a sort of hate-hate relationship with the DM :)

Just like Cathy, stealin a few "me" minutes. The frig has been tackled and the fruit cut up and cleaned for the coming week. I also went thru the IRA file and have the checks made out and ready to go in the mail tomorrow.:) What a way to spend a tax refund eh?

Cathy - Oh, I just put in the porcelain smilie b/c of the "turd" comment. I had a feelin' it was just a sniffle type sickness. Still sucks though, as I'm sure it makes it much more difficult to concentrate. Ummmm....no, no HRM. LOL! I could only imagine DH's comment to that. He'd definitley think I lost it......not that he doesn't already anyways.:7
Correct me if I'm wrong, but can't the itread workouts be burned to a CD after they are downloaded? I have a CD player in my basement that I use for my CC w/o, so was hoping I could just burn iclimb to a CD.
My TM is not working right now and I really should get a new one, but I like the EXT, especially since it is more forgiving on the joints.

Wendy must be stealing a snooze.......

I'm in a quandry. I'm sittin here watchin the race thinking a CAB would go down good, but I still have that closet hollering at me..... What to do?? What to do........(as she heads off to the kitchen):p

*lol* about the HRM visual...Yep, the crud's only from the neck up...joints are a little achy, too, but mostly it's just throat and sinus. Yes, you can burn your audio workouts to CD. You use iTunes, right? I really prefer the EXT and have been doing that almost exclusively in place of my running this winter, to my own surprise. It is just SO much easier than racing home to beat nightfall. That is one thing I look forward to--light in the mornings and in the late afternoons...enjoy the race & your CABS! The closet ain't goin' anywhere. :)

Hey Girls.

I'm back. I caught my snooze, then did some stuff around the house and then finally got to my work out. I bagged TB+. I just was in no mood to "bring it" so I just let myself have fun with Turbo Jam Cardio Party 2!:7 I felt soooo much better when I was done. In fact, I felt sooo good that I made yet ANOTHER trip to Target today!}( LOL I returned the no good capris and everything I bought in their place fits so I have no more returns to make, thus no more reasons to go to Target. The horror!}( LOL

Cathy: Sorry you did feel well y'day. Glad to see you are back at it today. That must mean you don't feel as lousy. :) So you are not slowly giving up running in favor of the EXT are you!? *GASP* I hope you are just enjoying the ease of use of the EXT in the colder/darker months and will be hittin' the pavement again real soon!:)

Angie: Glad you got your chores done today. So how long were alone for today? Sounds like you had a "Laura night" last night! Good for you. We can't let her have ALL the fun!:p LOL

Off to grab some java...I haven't had a cup since THIS MORNING!*GASP* :eek:
