Angie :: Your meals for the week sound good…3-3.6 g of protein sounds about right for the egg whites…I would go with what Spark says…Oh, it’s no big deal about the Wii. I’m not in any big rush. I did find the neti pot (for sinuses) later on, but that’s not all that exciting, anyway. *lol* …My butt *still* hurts. I’m thinkin’ it has to be from the *combo* of Slo-Mo legs on Friday and then IX+ on Saturday.

Wendy :: Nice score at SA…Now is a good time to stock up on equipment…and of course, leave it to you to look tiny, even in all your ski gear! *lol*

I should weigh in today, but I'm not sure I wanna. *lol*

I followed Angie's lead & swapped yesterday's w/out with today's...so last night I did a yoga/stretch fusion (which felt really good!) and today I'll get to the legs & cardio.

Morning Cabbers!:)

Today is my rest/yoga day so I'll be doing either part of yoga X or BOSU long and lean when I get home from work this afternoon.

Cathy: Enjoy your day off. I didn't know it was possible for ANYONE to look TINY in ski gear...unless ofcourse, you go for that cat suit look!}( I didn't have to buy pants as DH had a pair I can wear so I didn't have a choice though I didn't see the tight ones at SA anyway. POOH!LOL

Alrighty, my time is up.

Workout done! I started with a B&G mish-mosh...

walking lunges (my still-sore booty was screamin' already with the 1st exercise!) :p
deadlifts
hammer punches
barbell squats
1 legged squats
firewalkers w/ purple band
low pulse lunges

...followed by Kenpo X+. I like this one! It's an efficient 40-min. athletic-style w/out that starts up with a brief yoga warmup - no fancy choreography - just punch/kick combos with some new moves (at least new-to-me) to keep things interesting. Each set of drills is done twice with a short, one-minute cardio "break" in between. The last set, in particular, really drove up my heartrate.

Now to get showered, scare up some lunch, and then spend my afternoon working on NB stuff.

Great B&G mish-mosh. That work out is wonderful for creating tons of new ways to torture your legs and butt, isn't it!? ;)

I tried to do Kenpo+ the day I did Interval+. I got so flustered cause Tony doesn't show what the move is. He just jumps right into it full tilt so I got mad and changed it to Intervals instead. LOL I have to take the time to preview Kenpo+ before I try it again. Glad you liked it! I'm sure I will too once I get the hang of it. :)

When you've already got DOMS, it doesn't take much to bring on the pain!...Oddly, I rarely have trouble catching onto kickboxing moves...step, on the other hand, I am a complete dunce about. Sometimes I think you just have to be in a "learning" mood w/ new workouts...As for lunch, you do NOT wanna know. It wasn't exactly clean...

Hi Ladies,

I did BBC arms & abs this morning. You guys all know how much I love cardio, but I'm tellin' you the BBC cardio kicks my butt everytime! It was only 20 mins long but it is so tough for me. I might try to get on the elliptical tonight and try a cardio coach.

Cathy-nice B&G mish mosh! I love the firewalkers in that w/o. I forgot you had the day off, same as the rest of my family. Hope you get everything accomplished you need to.

Wendy-Do you know if I will get an email from BB when my coach gets switched to you? I can't wait to get started. My next meltdown class doesn't start until mid February and they will be on Mon and Thurs nights. I'm really hooked on those classes and wish they offered them year round.

Laura-Where are you today? I'm guessing you're either really busy or have the day off.

Angie-So are you outside building an igloo with the boys??? My kids always made huge piles of snow to slide down-if they could manage to get to the top that is. Sometimes they made snow tunnels too.

Hey Di! Good to "see" ya...Nice job with the BBC Arms & Abs and cardio...I like firewalkers, too...Funny, they felt easy at first and I wondered if I should switch up to the silver bands, but it didn't take long to kick in, and I said to myself, "Uhhhh, no." :7

I am ready to call it quits for the night in terms of my work. I do feel that I accomplished a lot, although I am not finished with this portfolio entry. I'd say I am about halfway through my draft. On Thursday night, I'm going to a work session. It won't be like the regular monthly class I attend, but it is being run by the same facilitators. They'll be on-hand to give us feedback and help with our entries.

I didn't get around to studying the software manuals yet, but I *think* I might have even figured out how to burn the DVD!! Thank heaven for small miracles. :7

Unfortunately it's not protocol for MDB to notify the customer when the coach is switched. I think it's up to the coach to do that. However you DID put in a special request so perhaps they will do it for you. Don't worry girl, I'm checkin' every day to see when the change is made and I'll let you know!:+
 
Hi cabbers

I finally made it to check in. It was a full day of work, even without the mail. I got home and did S&H legs and shoulders. It's been a while on that one.
While I was at work today I typed out a spreadsheet for my nutrition and workouts. I already enter all this info on spark anyways but I don't get the "at a glance" information that I think will be beneficial. Getting my proteins up there is still a challenge. I'm definitely a carb-o-holic!

Cathy - Good swap with Yoga if your butt was still hurtin'.}( And then you go and torture them again today. You must like a hurtin' butt! }( :p
Congrats on being so productive missy! It will be nice to get some feedback on Thursday. When will you be done with the whole process? Is it before summertime???

Wendy - I think I caught up with you last night. How'd that workout go today.
Ya know, I forgot that in S&H Cathe uses that 40# DB. I use 2 of the 20's and hold them with my pinkies pointing outward (toward the TV) so I don't scrape my inner thighs when I push back up. Does that make sense? I definitely have to concentrate on keeping my shoulders back and keeping my back straight or it really gets into the low back.
So, overall, how do you like S&H?

Diana - Actually the kids never really went outside, or anywhere this weekend. It was too cold for them to go outside for any length of time. It was also too cold for snowball fights...once they whitewashed each other they were right back in. Cody was grounded, so they couldn't even go to grandmas house.:( It was harder on me than on them!!! I'm hoping she wants them next weekend.... b/c they absolutely drive me crazy all weekend long.
BBC gets me too! Just when I get a little cocky and think I'm in pretty darn good shape, I put one of those in, and BAM!...back to reality.:7

Laura - I'll bet you got a 3 day weekend. :) :)

Off to eat more chicken. I feel like I'm gonna start growing feathers. :7
