Good Morning,

We are headed to the lake again today. I woke up with another migraine (I really need to drink more water) and my dizziness has decided to come back.

Lisa-I am jealous, enjoy your lazy day.

Back to report my w/o. Kettlebell way...haven't done in ages, it was harder than I think it normally was, either because 1. I haven't done it in a while, 2. I'm older 3. I'm out of shape or 4. a combo of the above.

Roxie, no rain yesterday here, but they did get it in South Denver. I still think my headache was from weather the prior 2 days, I was just elated when I woke up with no headache this morning. For us in this hot dry climate we don't realize how much water we are losing thru perspiration. i just try to guzzle water even when not thirsty. It could be some weather pressure adding to it for you too.

Mary, I was dog tired yesterday, don't know why, maybe it's my body just using up everything to heal my face. Lesson in skin cancer that I've learned: Basal cell (I get from Mom) has to be cut out, better to do the Mohs surgery to make sure all is gotten and stitch leaves less scar than if they scooped it out, then it leaves a divet in your face and a white circular mark. 2. Pre-cancerous (from father's side) they freeze off, these turn eventually to squamous cell cancer, never had them get that far thank goodness. I do know 2 people whose siblings have died from squamous cell cancer. Since I have a reddish complexion (some from rosacea), the scar by my nose may be a bit more noticeable since it will be white and that area of my skin is a little red, that's where the laser may come into play (hope insurance pays for that). So wait a month, see how that scar is. That one is still real sensitive but less noticeable since it's all red, the one on my cheek is more noticeable right now since the scar is red and surrounding facial tissue normal color. Make sense? Oh I did ask doc, why is it that these basal cells seem to flare up, then go away, flare up, go away, and when they go away I think they aren't anything. He said that's the body's way of trying to fight it off and eventually the body can't anymore (I've had that one coming and going by my eye for at least 2 yrs). So for now, I have to try to remember where these things come and go and if there is a pattern then when they are flaring try to get in to catch them a bit sooner. However, the one on my cheek was caught early and really wasn't much smaller than the eye one. eye one was 1.1mm x .7 mm, cheek on was .9mm x .7 mm. Hope this lesson helps one of you and wasn't boring.

Murphy, yes post pics!!!!! Hope you had a fabulous time!

Jody, saw on the news, the corgis was the queens. I bet your DD is loving her straight teeth now! Braces are so worth it. So glad my parents did it for me, I really would have been a mess!

Ronne, was DD glad to see you? I didn't see the rain Mary mentioned, have watched a bit of olympics, but just here and there.

Oh, my left glute, I FINALLY figured out what was causing it! The chaise part of the sectional is causing it when I lay there, so have to find a new spot on the couch to zonk out. I finally figured it out as that was where I spent most of the recovery time and no working out and my left upper glute was killing me. I'm so glad I finally figured it out! Maybe I'm not meant to lay around so much

lol Lisa, are you saying you got sore from sitting on your arse? Now that just seems wrong to have more soreness from recovering from hike than from hike itself. I've never done KB.
Yes, dd happy about braces off, wants her perm. license and job and clear skin.
Mary, I'm just trying to stay centered.
Roxie, I bet the water would help. Maybe the dizziness is boat related and will go away as you get your sea legs?
Murphy, looking forward to trip report.
Ronne, nice job on opening ceremony. The queen's corgis won me over. I play words with friends w/ a Brit- he said traffic is remarkable.
I gathered dog stuff, gates and cleaned up crates, mopped floor.
I was thinking that I should wear firewalker band after mopping while drying floors with towel/foot shuffle. Instead I did HST cardio and legs plus cardio only for about a 40 min workout.
One of the besties having bd party tonight. I'm not in the mood but will go for a bit. crap, I'm already late.

Hi all!!! I am so tired and have a headache (I have had it since Thursday or Friday). OMG! I bent down to scratch my knee and my whole backside (booty, glutes, calves and feet ached)! I shrugged my shoulders and my shoulders and obliques yelled at me for moving them!

Okay, where to begin. 2 classes on Friday, 6 on Saturday and 1 on Sunday. They say to bring 8 outfits and they are so right. Plus, whoever suggested the ziplock baggies had a great idea. I have never had so much sweat on me, it was ridiculous. I could wring out my clothes they were so wet. You could get by with two pair of sneakers, but three does work better (I had four). Oh, and a robe would be nice for the locker area. It felt funny changing my bra and undies in front and along with some of the other women. It all worked out.

The food was very good (and plentiful) and all of the staff was wonderful. You could buy videos and equipment and clothing there - at a slight discount. I bought some tubing and Cathlete T-shirts. They had some cute shirts (babydolls and tanks) on clearance so that worked out great. The feelfit wear was NOT on clearance and is a bit expensive for me - $82 for a pair of pants?! Pants that I am going to sweat in?! But, people were buying them and LOVED them. They could not stop talking about how wonderful all the clothing was. It looked and felt nice, but I am on a budget.

The classes were the usual - kick your butt- classes. Someone told me not to go all out b/c I will be spent for the other classes. That was a great suggestion. I saved some energy and was able to complete everything but, I was so tired and sore that I don't know if I could have moved if I went all out! The spinning lady and the Zumba lady tried to kill us. I think the spinning lady stood (while riding) for 30 minutes of the 45 minute class. The zumba class was fun. It was my first and I had no idea what to do, but it was fun.

Cathe. Cathe is petite, rock solid muscle (as are all of the cast - OMG!), and makes you feel so welcome and special. She seems to be such a wonderful warm person. Very nice. She had lots of patience! I felt like a groupie (no, I did not throw my sports bra onto the stage - which is tiny). She signed one of my dvd covers and Cathe, Brenda, Cedie, Jai and Marlo signed a shirt (Lorraine could not make it). All of the cast was patient, warm and friendly - and petite (5' 3" and under and rock solid muscle).

Schedule
Saturday
Class 1 - step and kickboxing (dinner)
Class 2 - PJ stretch/yoga
Sunday
Class 3 - athletic step and TTM tabata
Class 4 - spinning (I was in group B)
Class 5 - bootykicker (I mean bootcamp)
Class 6 - stretch (lunch break)
Class 7 - total body blast and barre (back to hotel to shower)
Class 8 - Zumba (this is after dinner, Feelfit fashion show and 15 minutes of fame)
Sunday
Class 9 - mix-up/requests (was supposed to be S&G, CF and abs)
Then quick-clean up, lunch at the diner and more photos and autographs
9 classes in three days (really 2, two 1/2 days and 1 full day - OMG!)

I will get some pictures up once I go through them. I am camera shy so it may take a minute.

I did some stretching and ab work. I felt the need to do something, stay on track. It worked out well. I am still tired. I plan to take a day off next week; I hope I can last until then!

Murphy, sounds like an awesome trip. I guess you've earned a few rest days? : ) Any pics with the crew? I'd heard they were all tiny powerhouses.
Party was nice, but I didn't stay late or go off my food plan, I want to be on my game this week.
I'm eyeing CCC express premix and a PUB up only PM for today.
Have a good one

Hi all

Murphy - thanks for the report. Sounds amazing!! So envious. Can't wait to see your pics.

Jody - congrats on the weight loss! That's impressive in just a month - you must have been eating really well!

Lisa - like Jody, I do think it's pretty funny that you injured your bum by lying on it!!
Sounds like you've got a really good doctor who's on the case with all these pre-cancerous cells.

Mary - it's great to have DD back. She had a blast and was spoilt rotten by my parents!

Roxie - hope the headache cleared.

No workouts for me - I came down with a cold over the weekend and having been feeling pretty ropey. Today is the best day so far but I'm not going to rush back into it. Been lapping up all the Olympic stuff, I loved the opening ceremony on Friday, it was fantastic. Felt really proud!!
