Good morning, cheetahs!
th_happy-038.gif

It sure feels weird just checkin’ in here on the weekends, but it does free up quite a bit of time during the work week, and that's worked well for me. I’ve read some, but please excuse I may be a bit out of the loop…

Posh—ha! That’s funny about the smiley guy and the cup. I wasn’t even thinkin’ that. *lol* Fun times!...I know you’ve had a wild week at work. It must be a HUGE relief to have the weekend here finally.

Carole—what a treasure that is, a picture of you dancing with your dad. That would be a nice one to have printed and framed. I appreciated hearing what you did to incorporate running into the X since I’ve been pondering how I’ll do that with CLX. How lucky you can catch some sun in January. It’s downright blustery here!

Wendi—glad the frigorific temps mean shorter work days for you. Gotta catch a break when ya can. I saw your calorie burn—insane! :D

Wendy—aww, thanks for missing me. I understand your rationale for not ordering CLX. Glad you’re enjoying Squeeze LBC.

Laura—lol—well, I wouldn’t necessarily want to encounter either “big five” list. On the Discovery Channel or at the zoo is fine by me. AT is the one on the runners’ big five that you missed. Have a great long run today.

Jackie—you had a full weekend last weekend with DBF. Hope your friend is doing better. I’m lovin’ CLX, too. Right now, I’m not adding on. I want to try to stick with it as it is for the first two weeks. I’ll be interested to see what you think of the bands. I’m enjoying some major booty DOMS thanks to use of the bands in yesterday’s Burn Intervals. I like how Chalean uses it to get the legs burnin'.

Brighton—glad you & DH are enjoying the wonders of the foam roller. Sorry you have been feeling down and stressed out.

Judy—thanks for thinking of me. Wow, your HM date has been bumped up, ay? The pilates core work sounds like it’ll be a good addition. 11 miles on the DM? My hat’s off to you on that one. WTG!

Shelly—hope you bounced back from the bout of insomnia.

Karen—congrats on your new dog! Ya gotta get us some pics! J Have fun with Providence—great workout! That one always gives me LB DOMS.

Linda—been thinking of you. I hope all went well with DD and the baby.

Hi to Gloria, Dallas, and Christine!

I have been thoroughly enjoying my first week of CLX and my new Bowflex Select Tech DBs. Both have proven to be excellent investments. The workout length makes crack-o'-dawn workouts doable, and yet they're still plenty TOUGH, leaving me with intense DOMS. My delts were so sore for two days, I had to take breaks when writing on the whiteboard at school. *lol* And the lower body constantly gets hammered (which is what I need), so I'm feeling that, too. Diet is going well, too. I'm down another lb. this week.

Today will be Burn Circuit #3.

Have a great day!

Good morning ladies!

Holy Frigidaire Batman:eek::confused::eek::confused:!!!! Alrighty, enough of these sub-zero temps. We're Cheetahs not polar bears!

Just a fly by for now cuz I have to get me arse movin' and into work. Yesterday was a rest day. I have got some crazy DOMS going on that seemed to get progressively worse yesterday and are killer this morning;). Me thinks it's gonna be some kind of step today cuz *any* kind of weights or KB is just out of the question:eek:.

Talk to ya all a bit later!

If you haven't yet, go over to the O/D forum and click on the Richard Simmons Link for Lauramax. Watch the youtube vid that the OP posted a link for. OMG, it's the funniest thing! :D

Brighton: So what do you plan to do with your weekend? If you REALLY wanna cut loose, come on down my way and come with me to the party tonight! ;)

Carole: You are killin' us freezin' Cheetahs over here with your warm temps! Our house is 62 degrees right now and set on 72!!! Sorry you are in so in need of rain. I hope some comes your way real soon. So what shows did you watch last night on your tivo? I meant to tivo something this past week and ofcourse I forgot to. GRRRR.

Laura: NICE siggy! It looks really cool. I like it.

Cathy: Congrats on the pound down! Glad your new schedule is workin' better for you. No worries about not keeping up on every detail while you are away during the week. We'll keep you utd on the really important stuff. :) I wrote up a rotation last night that works the lower body 3x per week with Squeeze and Bodystrikes. I am really psyched to try it. In addition, I just got AOS Newport and Firepower in the mail y'day. I feel like my willpower against purchasing CLX has been restored for the time being. Don't know how long it will last but every second counts! :D Hey, if you aren't busy tonight, you should take a ride up and come with me to the party tonight. It's a gauranteed good time!:D;)LOL

Wendi:
Holy Frigidaire Batman:eek::confused::eek::confused:!!!! Alrighty, enough of these sub-zero temps. We're Cheetahs not polar bears!
Thanks for the laugh! I got a huge kick out of that! :D I know it's probably the near impossible task but....TRY to stay warm at work today!!!!!

That catches me up on the personals front.

Today will be a 5.50 mile run to meet my mileage goal of 18 for the week. :)

Next week my goal is 20 miles. I am trying to decide if I should aim for 3 runs (my usual) or make it 4 instead. Decisions. :p Also, since I will be in my last week of upping my base mileage before training begins, if I should I try to get 4 runs in, is it okay to keep them all at 5 miles or should I make a point of having that "long run" in there and make 'em say 3.5 miles, 4.5 miles, 5 miles and 7 miles? Any thoughts?

Shelly—Thanks for the encouragement re: my recovery. I’m counting on it! ITA that a solution to the corruption in Africa is long-term. I would even go so far as to say that it is generational. In other words, I think what will have to happen is that a generation grows up with a new ethic. The problem is too huge to just go in a fix what’s there.

Jackie—I hope that my experience with P90X is different from yours. I really want to lose 3 or 4% of my body fat. Over the summer when I had upped my cardio, I did reduce my BF, and I had expected to do that with my running too. But it hasn’t happened. So I’m counting on some solid muscle building to do the trick! I told DH what you said about him reading the thread and he laughed. :D He really is a keeper and a big supporter of my Cathe workouts and checking in. Actually, I think he might even be a little jealous. He doesn’t have many buddies here who are in to working out, so he needs his own forum!

Linda—Sorry that you have been sick. Hope you’re feeling better by now. Glad that DD was able to make it to 36 weeks. Yes, getting “stuff” in America is oh, so easy! That’s one of the treats when we’re on furlough! But while we're here it certainly does help cut out a lot of "impulse" spending. If you buy it, you KNOW you wanted it.

Karen—So glad that you got a dog. That breed is gorgeous. Glad you got her all cleaned up, too! It sounds like you’re enjoying your new KB workouts.

Brighton—I tend to do my foam rolling BEFORE cardio workouts and AFTER weight workouts. I need the rolling to loosen things up before the cardio, and I feel it’s a good idea to roll them thoroughly after contracting them hard with weights. The pre-workout rolls tend to be shorter, max 10 minutes and sometimes 5. (This is only rolling inner and outer thighs.) After a leg weight workout, I’ll do more like 10-15. A PT told me to go to each spot that is tight and hold it for 30 seconds, so that’s what I do. And if I do that for both legs, inner and outer thights, that’s about how long it takes. Every so often I try to get in a full 20 minutes, making sure to hit every sore/tight spot completely. Glad the roller seems to be helping you. Sorry the April plans may be on the back burner, but rest is good when needed. I’m still running cautiously on IT bands that remember my 10 miler!

Judy—It sounds like you’re solid for your race. Good luck. Running while watching a movie sounds fun. Makes me want a TM, although usually I find them pretty boring.

Wendy—I’m with you . . . running and doing weights on the same day is tough. It can even be hard to do UB weights after a run. Yes, Carole is definitely the Iron Cheetah with her tough weight workouts on the same day as a run! I’m loving my training right now but will also enjoy the change of pace of getting back to more weights. All this talk about Amy Bento . . . I’m going to have to get me some workouts! Sounds like her step and KB are better than her weights. And thanks re: my new siggy. ☺

Carole—As I said to Wendy (see above) WOW to B&G (even a portion of it!) on the same day as a run. I have not told my kids about the trampoline yet, since it won’t be here for a while, but YES, they will be ecstatic.

Wendi—I have never tried the BC/ME pre-mix. I love ME and have a hard time not just clicking on it as-is. But I keep thinking that someday . . . And I was ROFLOL at your polar bear comment. Too funny!

Cathy—LOL on avoiding both of the big 5! I double-checked and unfortunately, a cheetah is NOT on the list. :( It’s a leopard. I knew it was a spotted cat, but had forgotten which one. Now that I AM a cheetah, thought, I won’t be getting them confused anymore. :) I do not know what AT is. Tendonitis? Glad you have enjoyed your first week of CLX. And in regard to checking in—sometimes you have to choose between actually DOING the workout or posting about it. :) We’ll be here when you’re able to be on.

OK. I think that catches me up on personals. Sorry if I missed anyone--I'm behind by a few days on them and am trying to catch up off of several days worth of threads.

OK, it is absolutely too fun to post and see my new signature.

Sorry, I know this tags me as the newbie. :D But I'm very excited. :D I feel official now.

Laura: I don't know what's better as far as Amy's stuff goes. All I can say is that I have Kickbox Extreme and never do it because the choreo is too much for me. I do not have enough patience to figure out crazy choreo. To that end, I do not own any of her step work outs either because they are said to be tricky as well. For those who enjoy really intricate choreo, perhaps her cardio is better but for me, her weights are the only way to go. :)
I find it much more doable to do weights BEFORE my runs. Lifting after my runs is much tougher for me. If you have to do both in the same day for any reason, try lifting first. I find it much easier to handle.

So I sent the entire night at the ER. My dad called me at 3 in the afternoon and sounded faint. So I rushed downstaris and picked up the phone and called 911. He was white and looked like he had a heart attack. He just managed to get a call to me for help. I had just been down there an hour earlier. He said he was nausous and was shaking and dizzy sitting there. So the ambulance took him. His blood pressure was 113/45. At the ER they kept blowing viens and then finally got some good ones. His EKG was adnomal and he was bleeding from somewhere. He had a BM at the ER with blood in it. After a couple hours of tests they gave him a blood transfusion. He is on cumidin right now so they said for this they usually thin blood but had to now clot his blood. Yhey are not positive where the bleed is from. They sent him to ICU and I came home. They were getting ready to put a tube down his belly to see if there was blood on it.They are calling in a GI specialist now and I"m going to call them soon again at ICU and then leave. Really now. Don't you think this is overkill for me.:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek: Dont' know how much more of this I can do. I was jsut starting to get better.

Wendy- I am no expert, but my preference would be to do 4 runs as you proposed. For me, adding, mileage is easier that way. Hmmm, have fun tonight I'm sure you will. ;) I am willing to bet DH won't mind if you make a purchase or three.

Laura- LOL at your comment about wishing for a TM to watch a movie! Being outside is much better entertainment, believe me!

Karen- Oh Dear! Please keep us up to date on your Dad! I am so sorry to read of his ER visit and hospital admission.

Cathy- So glad to see you back here, and I am also happy to read that your new schedule is working out. Truth be told I waste way too much time at the computer.... Thanks re the HM. I did start training pretty early, and I am mentally ready to do it. Plus, I am so honored that DD wants me to run with her.

Wendi- The end of the frigid weather is in site, so I read. You need a hug-your-honey-night to thaw out! Or maybe you should crash the party that Wendy is going to:p Um, that should warm ya up.

Carole- Warm sunny Cheetah! We are very pale in the nothereast and we probably have vitamin D deficiency from lack of sun! After we got our heating bill this month, I am ready for this cold business to let up. I do hope you get the needed rain though.

Linda- any baby news?

Hi to Shelly and Brighton and Christine and Dallas and Jackie!

Today is a rest day! I need to meal plan and grocery shop, not sure if that will happen today or tomorrow though.

Good morning cheetahs

Cathy..I bet it does feel weird just checking in on the weekends, but if it works for you then its cool..:)...I would really like getting that picture framed. Actually there were a few like that. Yes running and P90X did get me some great results. I bet you could easily do that with CLX. Glad you are enjoying it and getting some DOMS. Love those dumbbells. Congrats on another lb down. Yes, the warm weather is bizarre and we are breaking all kinds of records. I am thinking it is March...:) Enjoy your workout today.

Wendy...I am sorry about the cold temps there. This warm stuff is just bizarre for us this time of year. I watched Criminal Minds and CSI Miami that I tivoed last week. As for your 20 mile week coming up, I would choose the 3.5 miles, 4.5 miles, 5 miles and 7 miles going to 4 days. Which might be easier than trying to get in 3 longer runs to get to 20.

Laura...thanks for the WOW, I have always done that (Weights and running)...:)...As far as Amy's I have a lot of trouble with her step choreo but find her KB choreo easier with practice. Her weight workouts have some different exercises and I have always been a fan of different being good..Love your new siggy...:)

Karen...so sorry about your Dad! My thoughts and prayers coming your way.

Today is a rest day. I will probably do some core work and stretching as tomorrow we are running a 22 miler! Glad the weather will be nice...:)

Have a great day...:)

Oh, Karen. ITA! This is too much! Why does it seem like the crises come in waves and never one by one?!! (((((Hugs))))) and prayers.

Good morning Cheetahs!

Karen - Glad Lucky has brought some joy to your family. Always fun to get new workouts! So sorry to hear about your dad. Hope he's ok. My mom went through that. Her iron was low and the doctor said the only thing that could be causing it was that she was losing blood from somewhere. She had a colonoscopy and endo. Found stomach irritation. Gave here some meds. Since she was on blood thinner, she started losing blood from the procedures and ended up back in the hospital. Had to have a blood transfusion. She's ok now. Will say a prayer for your dad.

Wendy - Sounds like a fun "toy" party! Good idea to sleep over. ;) How was your run?

Carole - You're really rubbing it in now - laying out in the sun in 78 degree temps! :p We may hit 40 today.

Laura - Love your new siggy! Your DH sounds a little like my DBF. He's a little jealous of my Cheetah friends. He's tried to read when I'm posting sometimes at his house. I think if you can find the right balance of cardio with P90X, you'll be fine. I seem to gain weight when I'm training for my half marathons. I'm trying to figure out a way to keep more weight training in there. CLX might just do it. Will see how it goes.

Cathy - Good to see you post. You are missed during the week but do understand. A girl has to do what a girl has to do. Glad you're enjoying CLX and the bootay DOMS. They are fun workouts but sometimes I wish Chalene would stay put so I can keep up with the rep count. Hate counting for myself. :D You got the Select Techs? That's great! That's one investment I'll have to put off. Would really love to have them though.

Wendi - Yeah Cheetahs not polar bears! Too funny! :D Yay for the DOMS!! Enjoy whatever workout you choose to do today.

Need to get out for my run with the RP. I ran 3 miles already on the TM using the first half of iTread #5 60 minutes. We were waiting for it to warm up. But, I wanted to get something in before then.

BBL and finish up personals.

Wendy—thanks, I am relieved to see the scale moving down each week. I seem to have struck a happy medium with my diet where I’m eating healthy but not *totally* depriving myself. Oh, that’ll be a lower-body roaster, for sure…have fun with that! Newport and Firepower, too. Great workouts! You do have plenty of novelty there in lieu of CLX...Had to go back and see what party you were referring to…*lol*…Those are a lotta laughs! If I didn’t already have plans tonight, I might take ya up on that!...Yeah, I'm for 4 days of running with one long run.

Carole—I’m glad you’ll have decent weather for tomorrow’s 22. You’ve put up with a lot of less pleasant weather recently, so I’d say you’re due!…Oh, I am just lovin’ the Select Techs—thank you for the enabling on that one. Money well spent!...Yeah, after checking in pretty much daily for three years, it does feel a little odd not to do so, especially since I still log in to access the nutrition software. But it’s what works best at the moment—glad you understand. Thanks for the vote of confidence re: my CLX rotation…BTW, Joy arrived J, and it smells nice.

Judy—thank you—your kind words put a smile on my face. I do miss the daily chats, but this is what I need to do for now to manage time better. I hear you—time can easily slip away here on the forums. I’ll bet your DD is just as honored to be able to run with her mom. Enjoy the rest day today.

Jackie—thanks J *lol* ‘bout Chalene making us count. I noticed, too, the countdown clock went totally wonky on one of the exercises in BI, I think it was. Oh well. One thing I love is how the castmates “talk back.” The guy in BI made me laugh. I did shell out some big ones for the Select Techs. I’ve been wanting to upgrade to 30#s and figured this might be a better investment. Not sure the FedEx guy shared my joy on that one. :p Hope you have a great second part of your run with RP.

Karen—oh, how frightening about your dad. I hope the docs can figure out what’s wrong. Keep us posted.

Laura—Yup, AT is achilles tendonitis. Hope I never have to encounter that one again!…My new posting habits & workout schedule are actually driven by workload demands. (In my next life, I'll choose phys. ed. over English! :p) One of my goals for the new year was to work smarter and reduce stress, so it’s a necessary compromise. As much as I love to check in daily with my longtime cheetah pals, it’s become a little more challenging to keep up at the moment. But I know I can count on my girls to be here. J...Saw your comment to Shelly about generational issues there. May I ask: do you teach or work with any former night commuters or soldiers?

Wendi—*lol* Ain’t that the truth about the polar bears! Man, is it ever bitter out there! I think the ol' bosshole might need to spring for some heated saddles.

Back from the ICU for now. I'm heading out again later. Right now they are more concerned about his heart. They said this has been going on for a month of so for him to lose that much blood. It could be it was happening when my mom was dying and he just didn't say anything. It just didint' happen since she died for it do be this bad they said. His heart is not getting enough blood. He has had 8 bags of blood, and his crit score right now is 8/23. It was 6/17. They said good is 10/30. His bp is still when I was there 97/45. They gave him some meds to sleep and will do more tests this afternoon. He has a colonoscopy tomorrow and a cardio thingy today to see the inside of his heart. He has diritucilitis they think. Still waiting for the GI doctor. They said they are worried but would be more worried if they can't get the bleeding to stop. So I"m going back later on after his nap. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Afternoon Cheetahs!

Thank you all for your input on next weeks' runs. I will take the overwhelming advice of covering the distance in 4 runs and I will change the distances up each time and do a "long run" at the end. :)

This morning I logged my 5.50 miles by doing all of ITread 1 and 2/20 mins and part of 3/20 mins. I swear it was harder to do then a straight up 60 minute Itread!

Cathy:
I seem to have struck a happy medium with my diet where I’m eating healthy but not *totally* depriving myself.
Good for you! I seem to have lost the ability to do this. It is obvious as I am not seeing any positive results lately. I think I need to start from scratch and figure out my calorie needs based on my weight and then I am going to start logging my food again and will try calorie staggering. I just want to get back to where I was a few months ago. Who knew it would be so hard!? If your plans for tonight fall through, gimme a holler! The demonstration doesn't start until 8! :D

Jackie: How warm is it supposed to get by you today? I hope you had a good run with your RP. :)

Carole: Oooh, I like the CSI's. My mom got me into them. She's a big fan of that kind of stuff. 22 miles tomorrow? NICE! I have no doubt that you will rock it. Will you have any company with you? :) It is going to be harder to get in 4 days of running but you are right, doing 20 miles in 3 runs will be tougher overall. Perhaps this is the motivation I need to get my arse up early to hit the gym before DH leaves for work in the morning! Enjoy your rest day. I haven't taken one in 2 weeks (unusual for me) but I feel good so I am just gonna keep on goin' until I either begin to bonk or come across a day where I am too busy or just don't feel like exercising. :)

Judy: LOL, yeah, "sky is the limit" would likely be my DH's attitude as far as spending money at the party tonight goes. LOL

Karen: (((HUGS))) So sorry to hear about what is going on with your dad. You've been through so much lately. I hope he pulls through with flying colors and all is okay again soon.

Alrighty, I am caught up and feelin' like a nap now....hey, posting can be exhausting work you know! :p

I'll pop back in later before I head out for the night!

Toodles!:D

Jackie....I know though we will pay for these warm temps when they start saying "drought!" Enjoy your run with RP.

Cathy....I am glad the weather for tomorrow will be good too. Rain would be no fun. Glad you are loving the Dumbells and I am happy to enable...:)..I do understand about the weekend posting, I just miss ya daily...Cool you got the Joy. My fav scent is the Peace & Calming one.

Wendy...I have been a fan of the CSI's since the beginning. Yes, my sister will be doing the 22 also. In fact it is a local Marathon that we are doing part of. We always try and do the 3 person relay so this time my sister and I will start, do the 1st 2 legs, meet up with our friend for the last leg and run till we get to 22. So there will be a lot of people running...:)..I think you will be able to get in the 4 days of running. Good practice for mary training. I have not taken a rest day in awhile myself, and normally don't until I bonk. I probably should the next few weeks though as they will be the most intense of my mary training.

Christine...okay, where are ya??
problems.gif
We have all been thinking about you...:)

Off to rake some leaves......(isn't that rest??)...:D

Karen—tough stuff you’re dealing with. I’ll be hoping for the best. ((((HUGS))))

Wendy—No doubt you will bounce back. Are you still enrolled in the nutrition program? I can’t say I’ve been a straight A student every single day, but it’s already been a huge improvement over the way I was eating the past few months. Tonight I am cutting myself a break, though. :D Have fun!

Carole—I definitely plan to try Peace & Calming soon. I’m also a CSI fan, but would you believe I *fell asleep* during Grissolm’s last show?! DOH! *lol* …I'm wondering: do you ever use your Select Techs to offset the weights?...How cool about the relay tomorrow…Thank you—that is really nice to hear.

Really enjoyed Burn Circuit 3. It fried up the shoulders and the lower body once more. Very interesting combination moves.

Hiya ladies!

So what I thought was going to be a short day and, therefore, would have time to get a workout in, turned into a full day...sigh, ah well, whadayagonnadoaboutit:rolleyes:? Mercifully, the raging DOMS have subsided so tomorrow's ShovelMax and StallMax shouldn't be too bad:).

Cathy - Glad to see ya babe:D! LOL about the FedEx guy not being as excited about your new DBs as you were:). Woohoo, WTG on the continued loss and being able to find that balance that works for you. Woowee, it sounds like you had a tough workout week...awesome job! Although, had to LOL at you having to take breaks from writing on the chalkboard:p. *LOL*, TG there is NO riding when it gets like this...just not fair to either the horses or the people:confused:. Yeah, that calorie burn was crazy:eek:...I may be in for the same thing tomorrow though with WonderChick (that's what I'll call the new girl from now on cuz, oy:rolleyes::(, sometimes) off tomorrow.

Wendy - Great job getting your mileage for the week. I think you've got a great plan for the week. Awww, thanks for the warm thoughts:). It was -8* when i went in this morning...nuts! Hey, chickiepooo, have fun tonight;):D! LOL about your "spending limit".

Laura - Lovin' the new siggy...NICE:)! Oh, you just have to try that ME/BC combo...it's so much fun *insert devil horned smiley*! On paper, it doesn't look so bad but, oh, man, Cathe just wears ya down on that one lol!

Karen - Oh, hon, I just don't feel like I can send enough {{{{{{{{{HUGS}}}}}}}}} and prayers your way:(. Hang in there sweetie. I am glad to hear that you finally found your pooch:D.

Judy - LMAO about attending Wendy's party....hmmmm, that might just do the trick;)! I like your first idea even better though;). Lordy, do I ever hear ya on the heating bill:eek::confused::(. Hey, awesome job on the DM 11 miler!!! You are a much better woman than I, for sure. Re: the RH training runs...I don't get email updates but my next door neighbor is in the know and I'll probably tag along sometime in Feb. Even if it isn't one of the "organized" runs (which it probably won't be cuz they are on the weekends and that's virtually impossible for me with work) we'll do our own thing on a weekday. We both know the course so it's no biggie.

Carole - Egads:eek:!!! 22 miles tomorrow?!?! You go Iron Cheetah...enjoy! You're killin' me with your warm weather:p. Hope you had "fun" raking.

Jackie - LOL about you being strong and being able to handle Denise. I'm impressed:p. Wow, you hit 40 today??? That's a heat wave in these parts. Hope it warmed up enough for the rest of your run with RP. How far did you end up going?

Linda - I hope your DD and the baby are doing well. They are in my prayers!

Shelly - Sweetie, you sound soooooooo busy these days:confused:. I hope things ease up at least a little bit for you.

Christine - Where are youuuuuuuuuu???? I hope everything's okay and that your floors are coming along.

Hi to Posh, Dallas, Gloria, and Brighton!!!

Gonna nuke some din-din (white bean chicken chili...yummers!) and call it a night. Have a good night!

Hi Cheetahs!

Judy - Enjoy your rest day!

Carole - I had to read your post again. You don't take many rest days, right? Hope you enjoyed it. Good luck with the 22 miles tomorrow. Raking leaves is not rest unless that's how you relax. ;) Somebody had to do it though.

Cathy - I like how the cast talks back too. Makes you think they feel your pain. You made the poor Fed Ex guy carry all that weight? He probably needs to work out anyway. :D Glad you enjoyed BC#3.

Karen - ((((HUGS)))) to you! More prayers for your dad. Maybe he just didn't want to worry you more because of your mom.

Wendy - Good job piecing that run together. It was supposed to reach 40 today but that wind was still cold.

Wendi - Looks like you will have another high calorie burn day tomorrow.

Got in a 3 mile run this morning. It was 29 and windy and cold. I bundled up thinking I would shed a layer but that didn't happen. The 3 mile run was good enough for us both.

Going to make a pizza and find a movie to watch. Have a good night and stay warm.

Back from the ICU. Dad defiently had a heart attack the cardiologist said. His bp is now 110/60 with 8 units of blood. So right now he is good. All the tests are tomorrow. Totally exhausted. :(

Hi Cheetahs!

I have been a recluse with all this cold and nasty weather. It is making me really crabby. I have been doing really well with my workouts though. Ran 7 miles yesterday and did L&G the day before. I will be back for personals tonight or some time tomorrow.

You have been in my thoughts. :) Rock on with your workouts!

IT IS SOOOOO COLD AND THE SNOW IS STILL COMING DOWN!! I am officialy weary of this winter. I've had it. It has been so cold that we have had inside recess every single day this last week.

DH and I are going to play some cribbage now.

Take care Cheetahs. I'll be back later.
