More Charlean on tap, i'm moving nicely along the program now. Did as I was told again, and kept the weight heavy, phew! I was glad when it was over.

Becca - I hear you re the blood (dears blood) I don't know what thats for. Strange isn't it? I couldn't take that. I suggest you say not one word about the sheeps placenta. Not a word. Its my latest weapon against the wrinkle. As well as spirulena which is good for hair and nails too.

Amelia - I'll get back to re the hair and nails.

Today is a cardio....after getting my butt handed to me yesterday im gonna aim for something nice and steady. PW on the treadmill.

Good Morning,

Tonite is 30 day shred and need to make up some TJ. My knee is bothering me today did a fitness test for My Fitness Coach on wii I am going to incorporate those some how. My challenge for next week is to really control my eating. While doing the fitness test I couldn't hardly make it through 2 mins of jumping jacks and DH said for all the exercising I do I should be in much better shape so I guess its time to really start pushing myself.

Andrea-enjoy chalene glad to hear it is working for you.

Amelia-have fun with whatever cardio you choose.

Elaine-xrays were negative sending me to orthopedic specialist.

This cold weather really makes me ache all over hate getting old. Everyone have a good day.
 
Hi Girls, (Il like saying girls...it makes me feel younger, HA!)

BRRRR!! It's a cold one today. This morning was -10. My 9 year old car did not want to start. Bless it's little engine. It kicked over with a few sputters!

This morning I did 4ds bis/tris and FF abd routine (triset of hanging knee lifts, bench v-ups and reverse bench crunches) and I did some standing oblique work with weighted gloves on.


Andrea: It sounds like you are having a great time with Charlean.

Roxie: Good luck with the Ortho. Hopefully they do an MRI to verify what is wrong. I know sometimes I don't push myself enough.

I have a confession to make.:eek: My eating took a nose dive last night. I think I was having the poor ol'me syndrome. But I am going to pick myself up and brush off my behind (that I don't seem to recognize anymore) and really get going with the eating. With that being said I am off to the grocery store to buy good healthy eats!!
 
Hello all! Brrrr, it is chilly here! We are at -14! :eek: I am so not loving this. Bring on spring! I haven't gotten my WO in yet, I was rushing around this morning trying to get ready so that I could run some errands. I went out to start DH's car (he took my truck to work because it's 4WD) and there is no key. :( He doesn't know where it is and I can't find it. So I am all dressed up with no place to go.:p

Elaine, glad to hear that your car started for you! Today is a new day! You will do fabulous with your eating now! Sounds like you had a great WO.

Andrea, you seriously ingest sheep placenta?!?!? Oy vay! I'm glad it's working for you. I don't think I could get do that no matter how many wrinkles it removes. And why sheep, why not yak or whale placenta? ;) In other news, I'm glad you are enjoying CLX. I keep watching the Ya Ya's to see if anyone is selling their first scratched copy. They sent out replacements, but didn't ask for the old one's back.

Hey there everyone! Made it to kickboxing this morning and EVEN WENT TO ABS CLASS :eek: I probably won't be able to move tomorrow. In the KB class, she did a segment that was a lot like L&G but OMG it hurt!

HRM said I burned 640 calories - I'll take it!!!

Food has been generally pretty good still and my mid-week scale peek shows down 3#. Now if I can hang onto that over the WE....

OK, gotta scoot & change over the laundry. TTYL!!!

Morning my cyber friends!

Today is work than the post office then home to eat and then i get to do a workout:D Im not sure what yet...im tired right now but if i feel like it later i may do some type of circuit. I haven't done a step workout yet this week....maybe LIC?

bbl after my workout! oh,i never did get in a workout yesterday....i woke up with a pounding headache along with weakness so i gave my body a rest day!*whispers* i had a hangover
 
Good Morning,

Last nite I did 20 min TJ then did 30 day shred. Tonite I will do 30 min of TJ and 30 day shred. I missed a workout Monday so I am making it up. Watching some workouts on demand I found Tamilee Webbs the best of abs and buns of steel, then they have some enviga workouts that look good.

Andrea-I don't think you missed anything they must have posted it recently.

Amelia-hangovers suck. Enjoy whatever workout you decide on.

AndreaH-way to go girl you have managed a weeks worth of workouts.

Hello all! Today I completed week 4 of my couch to 5K rotation. Only 5 more to go! Yippee! I also added on Lauren Brooks' 12 min k-bell workout and TBS seg #1. It was a very good little workout. :)

Roxie, I was playing around with exercise TV on demand last night, too! I saw those Tamillee workouts and they seem pretty good. I ended up doing Leslie Sansone's 1 mile walk last night at 11:30! I've always wanted to give her a try and that was my chance. It was a fun little wo. That woman is very happy! :) Good job on your WO! How are you feeling about Shred now that you've done it a couple times?

Amelia, I did LIC yesterday and it was fun. The UB work was harder than I remember, though. :eek: Harder in a good way! Sorry to hear about the "headache" yesterday.

Andrea, the ship date was just posted last night. I can't wait!!!!

AndreaH, great job on the WO! That is a ton of calories! :)

Amelia - Hangovers are avoidable.

Im actually practically a T totaller. Have the social drink, but avoid the drunk stage. (younger I was a party animal {not like Paris H none of that stuff!! shakes shead uh uh })
I get waaaaaaaaay toooooo sick. I can't afford the weeks recovery. So I abstain, I have no choice.
What does everyone else do ? Share.
 
I like and occassional beer or glass of wine but do not like the drunk stage.

Becca-I think 30 day shred is what caused my foot to hurt and my knee to be swollen alot of impact.
 
I like whiskey and coke...one shot maybe once a week with my diet,caffiene free pepsi(after the kids have gone to bed and its just me and DH)...but im not sure what happened to me ,i went for another shot and apparently my body couldn't handle it:confused: No more of that stuff!

Becca-Nice workout....high fives to ya!

Roxie-mmmmm,i love wine..use to drink white zinfandel but i switched to whiskey(or tequila) because there fewer in cals(gotta lose this weight) and well,you know the old saying...wine is fine but liquor is quicker...LOL. Great workout....How much of 30day shred do you do at one time?

I am not a drinker. I used to be one. Back in the day I could put Paris Hilton to shame, BUT that is no longer a part of my life. I am a Born Again Christian and it would be easy to say that that is why I stopped. I actually stopped before then because I couldn't tolerate the recovery. But it is my Faith that keeps me on the wagon. And for the record, I don't think drinking on occasion makes one "Un-Christian". It just doesn't work for me. :)
 
HI ladies, (Grinning ear to ear). Yes Becca is right. I went to New Jersey and worked out with Cathe's Friday class and the Tri-Staters who joined together for workout fun followed by brunch. Oh what an experience. Cathe is just the best there ever was. Beside the class and brunch, I got to visit my good friend Gayle and her boys. I am still on cloud nine and I'm sure DH is tired of hearing about it.

Sorry to make this short, but I am a little tired from my travels.

Amelia-I am only doing level one about 3 days a week. I just don't know if I like it or not.

Didn't get a workout in was really tired this am and tonite was my new nephews baptism.
 
I'm a little late jumping in on the drinking thing...but here's me...I like wine, but typically only drink one or two glasses when I have it, which isn't even once a week. Also like margaritas & an occasional beer. LOVE whiskey sours, but haven't had one in ages. I was never a big drinker, but really backed off when I was pregnant & then breastfeeding. Then never got back in the habit - probably not a bad thing.

No WO today. I AM sore, but not as sore as I expected to be. Will get something in tomorrow. Either Wii fit or elliptical, most likely.

Gotta scoot - need to get DD in the shower so she'll be all fresh & clean for church tomorrow! TTYL!
