Morning girls,

Just finished my last 4DS for the week. I am so glad I got them all in. Today was HIS. She kills me with the band work. I can never do all the reps.

I had a rough night. The past few days I've had some irritation (down there...) and finally decided I probably had a yeast infection. I asked my friend Rebekah's husband (he's an OBGYN) and he told me the equivalent of monistat and I got it and it was one ovule so I assumed it was like monistat 1 (which I've never used). Anyway, after I used it, I was fine but I woke up at 1 with Ellie when she went to the bathroom and I got up to go as well and then I just had a CRAZY painful burning and tried to take a bath and finally took some advil and it went away but I was up for 2 hours in serious pain. I googled it and saw TONS of reports of this with monistat 1. Crazy. I'll never use it again. The only upside is that today I feel almost healed. Not sure it was worth it though. EEK. :eek::mad::mad::confused:

Ryan's got the day off and we have some errands to run so I need to hop in the shower and get some bfast. I'll be back later for personals.

I'm setting two weight loss goals for myself. 4 pounds by June 1 and 6 pounds total by July 1. I would actually love 7 but it's been YEARS since I've weighed that little but I'm motivated. I'm so tired of this flex... up and down. I just want to settle at a good weight.

Finally, my DH has the whole weekend off again ! So it really IS our Friday too !!!!

Angie- ughhhh at your pain last night !! I hope it's gone for good now . That is miserable !

Today I'll do Travel Fit , and report on how I feel about it. I've done it once when I first got it , and remember I liked it okay, but didn't feel any doms from it...............that will be okay this week, because I've had doms here & there all week ! A break is okay !!! :)

Becky, Glad you and DH will get some time together this weekend. Mike has to work tomorrow so boo to that. I had such a fun family day planned for us too. Oh well. Maybe I'll ask my bro's wife to join us instead.

I'm up and around early today - going to hit some cardio before the girls wake up. I think a FIRM dancey one I got off Netflix. Will do LB and CS when Ju takes her nap later. I get the Durango back this morning and we're going to a friend's house tonight for dinner - should be fun but it means a later night out and likely no WO at night so I've gotta get it all in before.
 
35 mins of cardio will have to do....up w/ my juniebird. she slept thru the night - yaaaaaay!

i think the name of the wo i did is cardio dance fusion. i was sweaty, man! i might buy it:eek::p. low impact, kneefriendly & fun

yday i did 6 miles and ccc. my legs were sore today, but once i got going i had a great 10 miler. home day with the boys, and my eats will be great today (thanks angie) - yday was good too. bbiab

Have a dog question for you....our dane Mufasa will NOT eat his dog food. He wants table scraps like no one's business and you can tell he's hungry but he wont touch his food. We haevn't changes a thing - same food, same place. We dont normally feed table scraps so its not like hes just holding out for the "good stuff". Im thinkin we need to take him to the vet.:confused::( Anything you can think of for us to do for him?

Morning ladies! Praise the good Lord that it is Friday!

No 2nd wo yesterday - I was just too queasy and wiped out. I did bum bum this morning. I seem to only manage about 30 minutes a day these days. Guess it's better than nothing...

I wake up around 445 - 515, play on the computer for awhile, then workout til about 630, shower, start getting ready, then come down for breakfast around 7. The past few days, I am STARVING to the point on lightheadedness and queasiness by the time I eat. I guess I need to eat just as soon as I'm done working out...

VICTORY for Julia sleeping thru the night!! Kate, glad you enjoyed your cardio!
Angie, I play the up-and-down game all the time too. I wish you success!

Morning!

Had a busy day yesterday but I managed to get in my cardio-week 4 of C25k is in the books. I had wanted to do Barry's Bootcamp Chest/Abs but my freind called and then i ran out of time so today it's that and legs:) Nothing else on tap for today except the usual cleaning, etc. I might go out to dinner with my neighbor-she wants to take me out since I didn't accept payment for babysitting the boys last week.

Angie, Yowza! That sounds so painful! I've been lucky-haven't had one in years but I remember the pain well. Good job on 4DS! Re the weight-rmember that we all fluctuate too-and within 5 lbs. is perfectly normal. But I totally understand wanting the scale to stay put!

Becky, enjoy your time with DH! My time with D has been reduced to a few hours at night:( I miss hanging out with him. I haven't tried Travel Fit yet.

Kate, what are your weekend plans? Good job on getting in some cardio this morning. And hurray for J-she'll get there!

Nina, I was MIA yesterday too. Do you run every day?

Katie, what time do you go to bed? I keep thinking I'm going to have to switch to am workouts if I ever get a job but it gives me hives to even think about it! Eat a little something before you start-a piece of fruit maybe?
 
katie, i never ever ate early n the am (i get up at 4:30) until i was pregnant with finn, then i HAD to have half a bananna right out of bed. it helped a lot. you are doing awesome with your pregnancy. and you go with the bikini. i could not even wear shorts during my 2nd pregnancy. at 14 weeks my varicose veins came back with a vengence. my legs were almost totally blue. it was hideous.

kate, sorry about mufasa. how old is he? i am not a fan of table scraps, but sometimes you can mix canned food to make dry more palatable. dogs actually have very few taste buds, so they do not crave diversity like people do. he may have a texture thing too. hth.

breakfast is done. i wish i could eliminate my snacks. i'd have an easier time eliminating dinner, though. i get so hungry, and that is a recipe for disaster. hmmm. clean break done of egg whites, salsa, and a little left over blackbeans and chicken from tacos. also some fruit and 1/4 piece of aidan's ww toast. i am full!
 
Good morning everyone!

Well I am dressed and ready early! The first time this week. I did travelfit this morning. It was an easy workout but I didn't want to do anything too hard because I have my interview today. If I feel up to it I will do some cardio later today.

Nina, I have been really trying to eliminate snacks too. It is tough but I am getting better. I am trying only to eat 1 late afternoon snack.
Angie, great goal. I am trying for 5 pounds before the RT. I really need to get my eats back on track. Enjoy your family day. Sorry about your yeast infection woos. Hope it is all cured.
Becky, what did you think of TF? The band work was a little tough for bi's and shoulders for me.
Klaudia, that's nice your neighbor wants to take you out. I never thought I could get up early and work out but I did it. You just need to ease into it.
Katie, 30 minutes working out is great. You are getting in regular workouts and that is a huge accomplishment.
Kate, glad you are getting your car back today. Great job getting a workout in early today! Sorry it was cut short.
Wendy, good luck on your test today! You can do it!
Clintonya, woohoo! Tax season is over. I hope you find some time to relax this weekend.

Weekend plans - tomorrow is small animal day @ MSU Pavillion. I can't wait to go! The girls are excited and Julia will be a hoot w/ all the animals!:D

Your bfast sounds delicious! As far as snacks, it took a little while to convince my body that I dont need them but success so far. Sometimes in the afternoon I'll have a half a piece of fruit and or a few nuts. It would be so easy to go hogwild on a PM snack but I remind myself how good dinner is going to be and I dont want to be too full to enjoy it.

Katie, yes 30 min is good :) I found that it did help me to eat something pretty soon in the morning when I was pregnant.

Klaudia, that’s a generous thing to do for your neighbor :) Great job in squeezing in your run even though you had a busy day!

Colleen, I hope the interview is going well! Yes, I am so glad it is done!! Yesterday I felt good and today I am exhausted, must be catching up with me!

Clintonya- I feel like that should be my phrase too ! Am soo tired today !!!

Colleen- I really liked TF ! The difference for me was using the Cathe band today ! TOUGH STUFF !!!! Esp. on shoulders & bi's ! The only other time I did it , was with other bands......much easier. THIS was HARD!!
I really liked it and felt like I got a decent workout for using NO weights, just a band.
 
Becky, that’s good to know, because I was starting to feel bad that I was the only one who didn’t think it was easy:eek: :D:D I found it much harder w/the Cathe band too.

hey everyone. my motivation is wanning for the day, and it is only 1:30. took the boys to old navy and got them some shorts and a shirt for dh, then to the playground. eats are good. i planned to do some sort of afternoon wo, but i am undecided. i went on body rock tv to look there, but honnestly, i feel like i am watching something i shouldn't be:eek: - know what i mean?

becky, maybe i should try travel fit. i have cathe's old green bands (from gs) and her newer 3 band set that are relaly hard - pink, green and blue. what did you use? and i too am so very very tired.

clintonya, did you celebrate tax day being over? snacks work for me too as long as they do not turn into meals.

colleen, great wo, and good luck on your interview. you will do fine.

kate, mufasa is still a puppy! what kind of food do you gve him? have you ever tried the canned? danes can be finicky, liek cats:D

klaudia, i missed you earlier. dinner out with a friend sounds so nice. i do not have any girlfriends here yet per say, andthat just sounds nice. sorry for missing d - i totally get that. i am getting depressed just think ing of dh leavng again. i need to snap out of it. is it any coincidence i stop my normal routine when he leaves? i just hibernate.

okay, cup of tea and some yoga i think. i need some new short wos. i would love some sort of weight circuit with compound moves, you know? bbiab

Mufasa eats the regular old Purina. I'll have Mike pick up some canned food for him. And boy, is he ever picky! We dont feed him table scraps for several reasons, one of them being he doesnt usually like it anyway!
For short WOs I think Chalene Extreme is supposed to be good. I'm semi-tempted to get them for the summer when I'll need the shorter WOs w/ DDs home all day.

Did Pure Barre AND CS AND a shower! So nice! I thnk I hear Punky waking up now. Still no vehicle. Oh well! I'm such a homebody nyway it sure doesn't bother me! It will be back tonight tho.

Well the interview went well based on their feedback. They expect to give me an answer on Monday. I really need the weekend to think about what I want. I was completely exhausted and actually took a short nap this afternoon. Not feeling that great so I will skip cardio today and do something short before we leave for NY tomorrow morning.

Nina, it would be hard on me if DH traveled a lot with 2 small kids. I hope he isn't gone for long.
Becky, I used my Cathe band for the workout too. It is really hard to burn my legs without weights and I was surprised Cathe didn't use some of her standby's for legs.
Clintonya, hope you make it through the day. I hate been exhausted at work.
Kate, tomorrow sounds like it will be a blast. I didn't know until recently Zuzana was a porn star but I am not surprised.
 
How did it get to be 5:19? OMW, this day has been busy. I'm sorry, everyone! I promise to catch up tomorrow.
