*~*~Tantalizing Tuesday MELTERS~*~*

Morning ladies!

Deb - we miss you already!

Robin - are you feeling any better today?

Lainie - how was the day with all your boys yesterday? What did you get up to?

Emily - where are ya?

Shannon - what's blooming in your garden now? It seems like forever ago that you said your daffs were up, and ours are just blooming now!

Leanne - we'll miss you today!

Tneah - I'm glad you got that work done on the book yesterday.

TK - where are ya?

Jennifer - I agree with Tneah. You do BM2 a lot! That one just takes so much energy!

I decided that, since the weather is so beautiful right now, I would take advantage and run outside, which means I'll run this afternoon, instead of this morning, so I got to sleep in a little bit. I had a really weird dream about one of my friends last night and I can't wait to tell him!

Hello Melters.

How is everyone today? It's going to be LIC for me, I believe, followed by the rest of the 06 series. I like to be challenged and pushed sometimes, so BM2 is the one. Keep thinking I should try ACS2 again but that might wait.

Hope everyone has a great Tuesday!!

Good morning, Melters!

Shelley - I hope you have a lovely run this afternoon! The weather is perfect for running here, too. Oh my, the daffs are long gone down here, and my beautiful irises are just about finished too. I wish their bloom time was longer! Right now my azaleas are going crazy, and I have lots of pinks. That's about it in my yard. For some reason I have a terrible time finding blooming plants that will actually live in my flowerbeds. I don't know why. But that's my quest this week - off to the Flower Depot!!!

Jennifer - LIC is a good one, and I love BM2. Have fun with your workouts!

Last night I did Tracey Staehl's Step Sweatfest again. I think I'll do it once a week until I master it. It's a whole lot of fun. Today is a rest day because I MUST get the oil changed in my truck!! After that, I may cruise on over to Lowe's for some garden supplies. :7

Hello everyone.

Brian's back at work today but the boys and I are enjoying a quiet day at home again. I'm feeling a bit tired; DH and I stayed up too late last night. There are never enough hours in the day and I'm just a stay-at-home mom. Anyway, I wish I could sleep in some days but Ewan usually prevents that. Isaac slept until 9 today, though.

Anywho, here are my plans for today:
1. a ton of laundry
2. entertain little boys
3. cardio (would LOVE to do Amy's ASC2 but not sure if ankle is ready for that)
4. feed and bathe boys
5. take more photos of Spider-Man doing yoga for my blog
6. answer some e-mails
7. eat healthy and drink enough H2O
8. try to stay awake

It doesn't look like much, right? But I still won't feel like there are enough hours in the day.

Shelley, Brian was on the phone for work stuff part of the day, but we also did more gardening and the boys played outside a lot. I also did upper body and abs from BM2 so I felt like I got a decent workout. Enjoy your afternoon run this afternoon!

Jennifer, I still haven't done all of BM2--too many injuries all the time to tackle that one. I love doing parts of it, though. :)

Shannon, tulips and daffodils are going nuts up here right now. We also have so many gorgeous flowering trees. I like the variety in my flower beds that bloom at different times but this is probably the best time. In the late summer the roses go nuts--I have two rosebushes. I love them when they bloom but I also hate them. I hate those dadgum thorns. I already had to do some trimming of them this year and it makes me want to rip them all up and give up on roses. But the ripping up would definitely be painful work.

Tneah, good luck with the book--sounds like a lot of work.

Leanne, if you're around at all today, have a good busy day!

Robin, hope you're feeling better today.

Hello to all who follow. BBL.

Good Morning All!

Shelley, thanks for starting the thread this morning! Have a beautiful run this morning, its nice weather here as well, it will hit 83 degrees today and all the flowers and trees are "all happy" and lush. It is that "garden of Eden" time that happens in Vegas right before the hellish temps of summer hit.}(

Jennifer, have fun with LIC. I like the cardio premix, its easy on the joints, easy to do and lots of fun!

Shannon, I love that you drive a truck, you truckin babe you!:7 I always say a good woman needs a good truck to "haul stuff". I am a "hauler" for sure. Although I drive an SUV....

Lainie, your day looks busy to me!:) Simply keeping up with two little boys is enough to make me want to nap right now, and I just got up!

I am going to try and finish the luteal phase today--the book that is...I also need to go buy a PC (gasp!) for the boat...I know! My Mac just has way too many problems on the boat, and I need a computer I can actually use and that works when we are in San Diego. I will still use my Mac, but for SD, its PC again.:-( Time to get going with some cardio, not sure what I feel like, maybe an itread...BBL

Hi again!

Lainie - your day does sound busy. Keeping those boys entertained will be a full-time job, far as I'm concerned.

Tneah - so now would be a good time to visit Vegas? Do you think there would be enough stuff to keep Sophie entertained if we took a trip there? Have fun with the book! And hey, when you go through those closets, think of us ;)

Shelley, actually right now is the perfect time to visit! Its not too hot yet. Really, its always strange to see kids here, I don't know what they do, perhaps spend the day at the pool? They are not allowed on the casino floors/tables. There are a few attractions like the M&M store, Sigfried and Roys Secret Garden where they have all the big cats-very cool, and the dolphins..we just had a new baby dolphin arrive which was really exciting. There is the Madame Tussad's (sp?) wax museum, the shopping of course, the Circus Circus has a huge indoor circus/rides for the kiddos...uh,so I guess there really is alot for kids to do!:7 There is the shark reef at the Mandalay Bay, the lion habitat at the MGM Grand, sorry you asked right? Planet Hollywood just opened the Miracle Mile Shops...literally one mile of shopping! store, restaurants...so if you and SO are not into the adult themed type shows or the gambling, you could really have a great time with Sophie.:) Just remember to shield precious eyes against all the "girly" naked cards they hand out to you as you walk down the strip.:* Lovely.

OK, time to move it to lose it....

Hi ladies -

I just finished doing yoga during my lunch break and really should be working. Really, I should.

Lanie - I agree with Shelley. Taking care of two boys is a full time job, complete with overtime. When do you make time for the other stuff? It sounds like it's nice enough for to send them outside to play though! Your yard sounds beautiful.

Tneah - what cardio did you end up doing? I'm glad Vegas has a pretty time too - I always imagine it as pure desert. You know, the only reason I ever got a truck was because I needed to haul tons of stuff while we were building my house. It was very handy then, but now I just hate driving it. I want a Prius! My truck has over 200,000 miles on it, and it's still going strong, so I guess I'll keep it until it konks out.

Okay. Back to work.

Shelley, you should probably shield both sets of eyes against the smut!:) When you live here, you "get used" to seeing it and become sorta numb, but then when out of towners arrive, its always funny to see their reactions!

Shannon, I wound up doing itread #1-40 minutes to which I tacked on another 10 minutes so I did my 50 minutes. I "ran" a tiny bit at 5.5:eek: Not supposed to do that at all because of the hip, and now my lower back is killing me. Sheesh, I really need to watch this lower back of mine, I have two disks that are eroding away and was warned not to do high impact stuff. :) You did yoga? Wow, I just wish I could get into it, but changing poses like the warrior ones and stuff really hurts my hip, isn't that crazy? So its an unpleasant experience for me. Although I love to stretch. I would LOVE to own a little Prius, aren't they adorable??

Off to run a few errands and then its time to work on the ole book again.

Hi gang. I've feel like I've been running backwards all day. Just have time to check in, say I've done 4DS Kickbox etc and wave goodbye. Hope your day and workouts are great.

Stopping by to say Hello. Didn't sleep well last night so I hope my workout helps me do that.

Have a Great Night.

Hey all, I did not sleep well last night either Jennifer, my dog kept waking me up, my DH is away until tonight so Georgie gets really protective and nervous at night.:) Hope you have a good workout...

Nice to see ya Robin!

I got my final chapter done, hopefully the editor I sent it to fully understands it and only has to make changes to spelling errors.
Its hot here today, it must be 90 degrees...I am so not ready for the heat, George and I just walked and we both were panting by the time we got home....think I am going to make it an early night, take a bath, get in cozy jammies and read!:)
