** DAMAGE CONTROL....TGIF **

Good Morning!:)

Going to try to make this a quickie (geez....sounds something like DH would say;)) LOL!

I need to get on the TM in 5 mins in order to get a good run in! am sooo sleepy! This is a bad way to start the weekend off:( We went out for dinner last night and then headed to the b-day party where we stayed until almost 12! It was 12:30 before I got to sleep and although I slept good, it wasn't nearly enough sleep!:confused: I had the alarm set for 5:10 so I could do a small run and then my leg workout but I knew I couldn't make it through the day on 4 hours of sleep! So I reset it for 5:45 and can't do my leg workout:( Im just doing cardio! I would have put it off until tonight but I have to go back to work tonight at 10:40 for a flight. Which means....I will be late getting to bed again tonight:eek: Ugh! Sooooo hoping to get Disc #3 done sometime this weekend! To bad I couldn't take it to work and do it:rolleyes:

Diana** I found a FM in Niagra in the fall. That sounds like something I could do. Beautiful scenery and lots of time to train! May month is to close and i don't want to train on a TM, cause you right...to BORING! I don't even think a TM could handle that kind of training. Good job with your run yesterday. How come your son isn't moving until May? Did she say why?

Jacque** No time for Disc #3 today:( unless my flight cancels tonight...then I can do it. To tell you the truth, I don't even know how my legs are going to move! My coffee is starting to kick in though. Any plans for the weekend? That was to funny about DH hunting for toys at wally mart:rolleyes:

Laura** Ugh....did you guys complain about PIA in the meeting? My boss was so blind sighted by our PIA coworker. He blamed everything on our other coworker, who yes...in past...caused a fair amount of trouble with others so you could kind of see where he was coming from. It wasn't until we stopped complaining about her that he saw it for himself. She is gone now...won't be back anymore I wouldn't say!

Hey Ladies!

Back to report! I am settled into work and need coffee injected into my veins:confused: Oh so lazy!!! I don't have to come back to work tonight so that is either a sign to do my leg workout OR go to bed early:rolleyes: BUT if I go bed early then I can get up early enough in the morning to do legs and a small run!

Morning Ladies ...

Loving my hair .. she does a really good job .. she is just SLOOOOOWWWW ... talks too much and doesnt have the stuff ready when I get there .. but she IS good!!! I ran into class w/a semi-wet head ... and did teach kickboxing .. YOWZA can tell I have not done that in over a year! Good news is I remembered most of the prv routine .. and my knee did fine!!! :) I was a dripping worn out mess after class .. having some DOMS in my hammies and buttocks .. I knew I would they were on FIRE in class last night!! :eek: I know this sounds weird .. but I could feel every strand of muscle in my legs during the kicks .. was a strange feeling .. maybe from STS ??? I dunno it was weird! I got on the scales last night .. had lost 4 pounds by one scale and 5 by the other (thinking it had to be fluid though b/c my pants are tighter) .. the body fat scale measured me at 13% .. NO FREAKING WAY .. I got my hand held out and it had me at the 21% that I am usually .. so I am thinking that one is right .. I WISH I was 13% .. HA .. I consume way too many CABS for that!! :eek:

Jacque ... hopefully this year we can use our pool and pool room for some good parties and get togethers .. remember my POOL PARTY last year turned into a HURRICANE HANNAH party :confused: maybe this year we will have more time for some serious "hanging out" .. LOL!!

Lori .. I am tired too today .. I slept so hard I have a "pillow wrinkle" embedded in my face :confused: WTH??? makeup doesnt even cover it .. OH well . hopefully it will fade .. LOL ..

Di .. I would chaulk up the sons noncommunication to him being of the MALE species .. typical!! :p

OK .. today is a run/walk at lunch .. tonight is DATE night .. think DH and i and another couple are gonna go to the casino (about an hour from us) tonight .. gonna eat and throw some money away in hopes of WINNING some money .. :confused:.. oh well it will be fun anyway :D .. I am thinking I am going to TRY STS Plyo w/o tommorrow .. I am askeeeered :eek: ... she really doesnt say WHEN you are to do that w/o ... so I am thinking it can be used on a "cardio" day??? I will see how large my head will be tomorrow ... and how late we stay out. I would ask to get off early but PIA is ONCE AGAIN off at 3:30 this afternoon!!! :mad:

Alrighty .. have a great one ... and I will BBL to see what everyone is up to!!!:D

H A P P Y F R I D A Y ! ! !

These last couple of days have been pretty good for me - in quite a silly goofy mood which is unlike the past few months. Hoping I'm back into my groove.

Lori - Hope you get your leg workout in AND lots of great sleep tonight. I'm sure that has been helping me - my sleep is going very well. Not sure if it is the evening workouts, not taking BC pills, no CAB's (well actually once or twice a week) or a combo of all. It is working at this point though (and I hope I didn't just jinx it !) Cheers to a nice cup of caffeine to keep you awake today ! :p

Laura - did you get the same cut as last time? I tend to do mine myself and every once in a while venture in to a friend of mine who does a nice job. Need to wash the greys out this weekend ! That is about all I do with hair these days ! :rolleyes: May attempt to do a highlight myself in the next few days to see if I can . . . :eek:

Have fun tonight at the casino - maybe both you and Wendy will be "Lucky Ladies" of the DAMAGE CONTROL check-in ! :p

Hi ladies,

I'm sure my legs will be killing me later. We ran stairs (lots of them) in class last night and did weight work with the tubing and lets not forget about the walking lunges and firewalkers! My glutes were really hurtin...in a good way last night.

After class I did get a chance to preview disc 9, while doing laundry! A woman's work is never done. The preview seemed to help this mornings workout go fairly well. This is probably my favorite leg workout so far. Some of the same exercises with a few new ones thrown in. I used 30's and 25's for squats, side squats and deadlifts. I struggled a bit on the bonus section with the plates. I think the ankle just had too much pressure on the plate and they didn't slide as freely as I would've liked. I did the best I could though.

My appt. from last Friday is rescheduled for today at 5pm. I'm more nervous now than I was then. Hopefully it's not too painful and the results are worth it.

Lori-I'll have to check out that Mary. Although I probably won't be able to do a FM, a HM would be right up my alley. I hate that groggy feeling. Hope the coffee kicks in and you can get in your leg workout today.

Laura-glad you like your new 'do!! I've been letting my bangs grow out and they are making me crazy. It's nice to change up your routine, obviously the kickboxing really gets in there good, and it's fun to boot. IA, men are not good communicators. For my DS, I think he would just prefer if we mind our own business. He is living under my roof, rent free I might add. He should show a little respect and let us know what his plans are. He will be 21 this month. Zach is going to be 19 next week. That makes feel old:mad:

Jacque-No jinxing the sleep. Why is it that us women have such a hard time sleeping?? I always fall asleep pretty easily but wake up a couple hours later and can't get back to sleep. We have locker rooms and showers in all of our buildings so it's easy to shower after our w/o. Many employees at my company exercise daily so it's nice to have facilities to accommodate us.
