Insanity Like Rotation using Cathe's videos

Hi Fitness Gurus:

Has anyone on this forum created an "Insanity Like" rotation using Cathe's tapes? If so, would you mind sharing? I think Insanity is based on two intense cardios, rest, another two intense cardios and maybe a circuit type workout.

If not, could you please share what you did to increase your cardio endurance. If these questions have been asked before, i apologize. Could someone then point me in the right direction. Did you find increasing your consumption of water helped with building your endurance.

Any suggestions would very much be appreciated.

Thanks again,

Yvonne

I really can't think of a way to re-create an Insanity style rotation using Cathe work outs because the styles are very different. Shaun uses a ton of body weight exercises with in his work outs since there is no actual weight lifting in the rotation. Cathe's straight cardio does not contain body weight work and her circuits primarily use weights.

I cannot coment on Insanity workout as I have not tried it but I have been working on increasing endurance. I have been doing a rotation of Cathe's cardio workouts Intensity, CCC, HiiT, I max 1 & 2 & Low Max alternating days with total body workouts including STS total body, High Reps, Muscle Max, Power Hour, MIS, Muscle Endrance and also throw in a lower body WO like Lower Body Blast or Butts & Guts. Some of the total body WOs are so fast paced it's like a cardio WO. I wear a Polar to monitor my HR & gradually over time my endurance has increased. When I started I had to take longer rests between every HiiT segment now I can get through almost all with just the rests Cathe & Crew take. I am 56 and I never dreamed I would be in better condition now than I was when I was 30! Kat

Thanks Fit Mommy and Kathie Lee for replying. Kathie Lee, your rotation is exactly what i am looking for. Would you be so kind to post your rotation? thanks

Hi Kathie Lee,

Your rotation is fine the way it is. This gives me an idea of what DVDS to use and how to rotate them.

Thanks again
