Default How often do you change your Strength Training DVD of choice?

Hi there

I am currently doing STS, but I have other weight lifting DVDs (Gym Style, Slow & Heavy & Pure Strength for eg) I like these DVDs because I like to work seperate body parts on alternate days

My question is, how often should I change the DVD series? For eg if Iīm doing Gym Style (1) legs (2) Chest & Tri (3) Bk, Bis, shoul should I do this for a week, a month before moving on to say Slow & Heavy?

Any tips would be appreciated. I donīt want to move on too soon, but then I am aware about muscle confusion

Thanks!

I switch all the time. I do different weight workouts everyday. There are months when I go heavy, light, high reps, low reps, but I am always doing something differently. It works well for me. I would be curious what others do, too!

Years ago I asked Cathe for a wt loss rotation for someone who has difficulty gaining muscle. She gave me a 4 mth rotation and had me changing my wt lifting DVD/set after every 3 wks plus a rest week...so, every 4 wks. I've tried to go by that since then. However, I don't usually take the rest week. Just change every 3 wks. It works out well, cuz after 3 wks I'm ready to move on.

I'm also doing STS right now. They go on for 4 wks plus the rest wk, but there's a lot of variety in them. I don't get bored. Re: S&H and CTX...I remember Cathe specifically recommending doing these for 3 wk rotations, but for different reasons.

i have a question that stems off this thread. I enjoy doing full body workouts most. So i was wondering if i should stick with one same workout for 3-4 weeks and then switch to a different full body workout for 3-4 weeks? So in other words, muscle max for 3 weeks and then power hour for 3 weeks etc. or should i just combine them throughout the week.
