Turbo Barre Video Clip

This results oriented low impact workout focuses on strength, flexibility, and high energy fun. If you dont already own my Turbo Tower, feel free to use a chair to participate in this workout.

This routine is the ultimate long and lean total body strengthening workout and uses most of the same methods that many professional dancers use when they train. Expect to combine elements of pilates, yoga, and ballet, drizzled with some light cardio benefits for an excellent total body conditioning workout. After a warm up, youll strengthen the upper and lower body with light to moderate handweights. Have a lighter and heavier set handy so you can quickly make adjustments to challenge your muscles appropriately. After the handweight conditioning segment, youll get your turbo bar or a chair for a very challenging lower body leg strengthening segment. Finally youll conclude with a very intense core workout!

The time breakdown of Turbo Barre is as follows ( warm up 10:41, upper/lower body muscle endurance 10:54, leg work with firewalker loops 6:37, ballet barre leg conditioning 27:31, floorwork 4:05, abs/core 7:34, stretch 7:42) – Total time 74 min.

  • O’h Yah!! Some of these moves we did at our “Bootcamp” class at the YMCA. TOUGH!!! and CHALLENGING!!! I’m thrilled that Cathe has taken this barre wo into a new dvd. THANKS CATHE & CREW!!

  • I can’t wait for this workout! Love that it also includes upper body and core! And, we get to use our Cathe Firewalker bands! Wheeee!

  • This looks amazing, but I was wondering why, since you suggested we could use a chair instead of the Turbo Barre, you didn’t have one person in the class demonstrating that. It’s sort of a modification and I’d love to have seen it in the video. Other than that, this one looks very different and quite amazing. Can’t wait to get these workouts when they’re available!

  • Wow I really don’t know which workout I’m gonna love more! And to think I almost didn’t pre-order all of them because I wasn’t sure I was going to like them…thank goodness I did get em 🙂 As far as the comment above, I don’t think you really need someone to demonstrate how to do the exercises with a chair. It seems like the turbo bar is only there for support so it’s pretty straight forward 🙂

  • I am so looking forward to these workouts. I am excited to incorporate all of the different disciplines.

I am wondering if the tower that is used in this video is taller than the ones we have at home, or if the cast is petite? The reason I am wondering is that my tower only comes to my shoulders.

  • These are the same and only towers we sell. The cast are mostly about 5’2″” tall or less, so the Towers look much bigger than they really are,
