I feel strong, I feel empowered, I feel confident. I owe a lot of that to STS (and Cathe, of course!). When I kicked off the STS program, I was hoping for visual “proof” of my hard work and I think I succeeded there. I’m stronger and more muscular and that is empowering in and of itself. But what STS also did was helped me to kick my workouts up a notch or two or three which has improved my overall health and fitness immensely. As for confidence? I give a ton of credit to STS for giving me the physical and mental strength needed to fulfill a lifelong goal of mine. To teach a fitness class of my own.
I’m currently in the process of getting my kickboxing certification at my gym, it’s something I’ve always wanted to do but was always too chicken to take the leap of faith. But after going through two + rounds of STS and gaining that sense of empowerment after becoming so much stronger after each STS round, I finally put the faith in myself to take the plunge. And for that, I owe a huge thank you to Cathe and the STS crew! Amazing workout, incredible results – way more than any measurements or weight loss results could offer me, the sense of empowerment and confidence is immeasurable.
YEAH!! You girls rock!
Love your devotion — your bodies are your temples — that has made clear and I admire you both more than you know! Amazing!!
[…] I was totally wrong. They DID post my STS results, AND my sister’s too! And the best part? We’re the only two STS testimonials on their […]
I love your approach, Jessica! I just started Meso 2 this morning (2nd time through) and am feeling that way — like I can achieve newer greater heights from how much I put into it. Went to failure many times this morning on Chest, Shoulders and Triceps and it felt great!
[…] great (and by default, mine too, ha!). Jolene mentioned our obsession with STS and the great results we’d both seen in the past year of doing the program before taking time off to switch it up […]
Wonderful write-up. That feeling of going a little beyond what we think was possible yesterday physically, and how that can have unexpected and real results in other areas of our life is just what I needed to hear.
