Ingredients
5 egg whites or egg whtie substitute
1 scoop protein powder (any flavor)
1/2c oats
1 packet Stevia/Splenda
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp cinnamon or pumpkin pie spice or apple pie spice
1/2 tsp vanilla
Fruit (optional, can be mixed into batter or served on top)
Directions:
Preheat a skillet pan on low/medium heat and spray with Pam
Place all ingredients into a blender and blend until combined
Pour batter onto skillet to make either one giant pancake or several separate pancakes (better this way).
Cook until golden brown on each side (~2-3 mins/side)
Serve with sugar free maple syrup or fruit on top.
I have been doing this recipe for years and its a great one to follow.
I make pancakes kinda like this but without the extra protein.
Recipe as follows:
1/4cup oatmeal
5 egg whites
(on occasion-vanilla/almond/or any extract to mix it up a bit)
Preheat non stick skillet
Pour onto skillet for several pancakes
Cook for 3 min each side
Sprinkle cinnamon(fat burner)on top
***or your choice of topping***
Blueberries (fat burner) or what you suggested sugar free maple syrup
