I fought the up and down battle of the bulge syndrome for the 1st 26 years of my life. I was always the tallest/fattest kid in my class. Always made fun of – gym class was the worst as I couldn’t perform anywhere near others in my class. Needless to say my self esteem was about as low as it goes.
I spent many years and $$ on weight loss programs, gyms, etc. only to lose weight and gain the loss plus extra back – over and over again.

In 1979, I joined a support group for overweight people and eating disorders and have managed to maintain a 70 pound weight loss for the past 30 years. I just celebrated 30 years of maintaining my weight loss; a day at a time.

My food plan is very healthy, designed by a nutritionist as I eat from the basic 4 food groups.

I walk every day and work out to Cathe’s various workouts that I TIVO on FIT TV, every other day and take a Pilates class one day a week. This from a person who panicked in gym class as a youngster.

I am so grateful to have found Cathe. I have purchased most of the equipment from Cathe’s website.

My husband and I own a business. The love of our life is our Golden Retriever and our kids and grandkids.

In my wildest dreams I never thought I would be able to maintain any weight for any length of time. The support of my group and a change in my way of life was necessary. I couldn’t be the same person. I delved into myself and work on change. My life had to change and it continues, one day at a time so I can have a “fuller living experience.” Life is good.
