My story – by Pamela

Before

I was always overweight my entire life. I came from a home where butter and Pasta were our best friend. From the time I was in the 3rd grade I could always remember getting teased and taunted for being fat.

I got married when I was 24 and ballooned up to 300 lbs. And was able to maintain my weight by being a couch potato and eating bad. Finally when I was 32 I had enough!! My sister inlaw offered me a chance to join her gym, and let me tell you I was reluctant about it. No one my size was even within the halls of that place. I pushed through it anyway and worked out 2 hours a day 5 days a week, completley changed my diet and my way of thinking about food. Idid boxing mostly and strengthclasses, spinning on ocassion.

After

Throughout this whole thing of trying to finally lose the weight , I went through a divorce! I wasnt going to give up on me though. I ended up within one years time losing 120lbs and gaining a whole new me. In the next year I re married, changed my job, moved to another town where the gym is an hour away.. my life went into a complete Panic! ended up gaining 20 lbs back..

Finally I was watching fit tv one cold afternoon about a month ago. I was instantly inspired by cathe’s kick punch and crunch. So I went online and started shopping! I ended up getting about 7 of her dvds and have been mixing them up for the past couple weeks. I have lost 10 of my 20 lbs thus far and am stronger, happier and well on my way to being back in shape. I cant thank her enough because without seeing that I would have never got off my butt!!
