After giving birth to my 3 kids all by c-sections I retained alot of my “baby” weight. I tried many different fad diets over the years but always gained it back.
I have never been an athlete or someone who exercised on a regular basis. A year ago my friend Colleen and I started a weight loss plan together. She had worked out quite a bit and had a few Cathe workouts already. She had me try out the Lower Body workout and I was hooked. Within in weeks the weight started coming off and this time round I looked toned. We then added in the Upper Body and I can honestly say I had the wimpiest arms, but now I have arms I can be proud of. By the end of last summer Colleen and I ran a 5k together. A goal we worked hard to reach together.
We now have a group of 4 who come to my house at 5:30am everyday of the week, other than Sunday, and we sweat it out together. Having them by my side keeps me motivated and inspired. We now have added many o ther Cathe workouts and are all loving our results.
Seeing the results I have acquired in the last year I look forward to see what is to come in the future. I used to not understand the use of women weight training, but now I crave it and can testify to its benefits.
Weight training is my favorite exercise to do and I push myself regularly. I have recently started down the eating clean road and am anxious to see what that will do for my physique as well. We have set some new goals for ourselves and would like to try a triathlon soon as well as complete a 10k. We know in order to achieve those goals we have to stick with Cathe and we will get there!
