Lose the Weight, Baby(ies) – by Heather

I worked really hard to gain the 50 pounds my doctor recommended I gain during my pregnancy with my twins. I had to gain as much weight as possible as quickly as possible because I was toward the end of my pregnancy, I could not maintain the weight gain my babies would desperately need in the last weeks of pregnancy. The health of my babies was the most important thing to me, so I dove headfirst into my weight gain with lots of fat, calories, and protein. Occassionally, I wondered what it would do to my once-trim body, but I chose not to worry about it too much until after delivery.

2 1/2 years ago, I gave birth to two beautiful, healthy baby girls. I lost a good portion of the weight fairly quickly, but after about a year, I still had about 20 pounds of baby weight hanging on. I had managed to lose all of my baby weight with my first pregnancy, so I decided to up the ante and work out more while watching my diet carefully. I lost another five pounds quite easily before hitting a plateau.
That spring, my husband and I took a trip to Denver to visit his brother, and my sister in law introduced me to Cathe. I had FitTV at home, but had never tried a Cathe workout. I decided to give it a try, and the results were astounding. Within two months, I had lost each and every last pregnancy pound. I felt and looked amazing, even better than I did prepregnancy because I was fit and toned.

Cathe’s workouts are different than anything else I’ve tried before. They are really challenging, yet still fun. There are so many different workouts, it’s almost impossible to get bored. The music keeps me really pumped too. The workouts have a great combination of cardio, resistance training, stretching, core strengthening, and more. Working out six days per week with Cathe has not only changed my body, but also given me mental and spiritual strength. I feel like I not only have a better body, but I’m a better person. I have more confidence, I’m happier, healthier, and have more than enough energy to keep up with my five year old and two year old twins.
Cathe has such a positive, encouraging demeanor, and it’s definitely rubbed off on me! I’m considering a fourth baby, and the pounds don’t scare me. I’ve also acquired some of Cathe’s can-do attitude and I’m considering a drug-free birth. I know I can do it!

With all I have going on in my busy life as a mom of three young children, I keep working out with Cathe high on my priority list. I feel like I have a best girlfriend in my living room each day keeping me motivated.
I’ve never met Cathe, but I can’t thank her enough. She has changed my life for the good in many ways. Here’s to putting in the effort and getting RESULTS!
