I lost 50 pounds! – by hawgwild

Before

A few years ago, I had some tradgedy in my life, and my once fairly healthy and active lifestyle went for a loop. After I stepped on a scale at the doctors office, I realized I had gained fifty pounds without much effort at all! Of course, I knew I had put on a few, but that was CRAZY!

So, I started from the beginning… tracking my food, and working out. I started slow with Leslie Sansone’s Walk Away the Pounds dvds. Then I did some Billy Blanks Tae Bo workouts.

Slowly I built up to the point where I had completed the P90X program with Tony Horton. Now, though, most of the workouts I do are exclusively Cathe’s. Cathe is one of the most challenging fitness instructors that I am aware of. She is a real pro. Her cueing is impeccable and her instructions are clear. She is always friendly and motivating.

I enjoy her step and kickboxing workouts the most, but I have also seen huge benefits from using her strength DVDs. I started with Muscle Max, and I now have a complete array of other workouts. I have also done the Cross Train Extreme workouts. I will be starting the Slow and Heavy series next month, and then I will do the Gym Style series. I have also received the Pyramid workouts, and I can’t wait to get started!

So, with Cathe Friedrich workouts and CLEAN eating, I have managed to lose 50 pounds. I have also developed a love of exercise; it is no longer such a chore!
I have a healthy BMI, but I think like most women, would like to lose “just ten more pounds” LOL! But, I am pretty happy right now, to just feel great and know that I am so much healthier. My skinny jeans that I hung onto are too big for me now, so that is GREAT!

  • My name is barbara every one may reading this page around about now I starting walking with leslie sanson and going into my seventh week I’am actually walking agin and even gone outside I have not this take exercise in year from 267 and now 240 I’am still at a 22-24 but I’am working hard so I’am went up too mile walk with leslie and believe I feel bouncey easier too move now and I add 5lb weight with the warm-up and then go into the high-peak with leslie I feel so good. I’am starting eating lesser and lesser but still cheat a little but not much at all I want this to work for health and slim down I taking class at college and one day I want to finish but it start with me I hope hear from you soon
