Chocolate Banana Pancakes

Whole wheat chocolate banana pancakes

Ingredients

2 ripe banana, medium or large size
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 C fat free plain yogurt
1/2 C water
1 t baking powder
1 t baking soda
1/2 unsweetened cocoa powder
1/8 – 1/4 C white sugar (depends on the bananas)
1 C whole wheat flour

Directions:

Heat electric griddle/skillet to 375

Mash bananas in a large bowl. Add eggs, yogurt, water, and vanilla, and whisk until well blended.

Combine dry ingredients in another bowl, fluff w/ a fork to combine well.

Add the dry to the wet and mix well, they will be some lumps.

Lightly grease pan w/ non stick spray or butter.

Cook pancakes 2-3 minutes per side, flipping once.

Makes 14-16 pancakes
