Ingredients
2 Tbs olive oil
2 Tbs lite/low sodium soy sauce
2 Tbs balsamic vinegar
2 T chopped green or white onion
1 1/2 tsp brown sugar
1 garlic clover, minced
3/4 tsp ground ginger
1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
2 salmon steaks or fillets, 4-6 oz each
Directions:
In a small bowl, coming all the ingredients except for the salmon and mix well. Place salmon in a glass dish and pour marinade over it; cover and marinade for 30 minutes to 6 hours.
Place each salmon steak or fillet on a piece of aluminum foil about 15″ x 12″ and pour marinade over each. Fold aluminum into packets. Cook on a preheated grill for 10 to 15 minutes or bake in an oven at 350 degrees for 15 minutes until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
