Exercise is better than medicine!! by Cherie

After

I been doing Cathe workouts for about 4 years now. Before I discovered Cathe on FIT TV, I had been working as a personal trainer, doing my own designed workouts & ‘living’ health & nutrition since I was a teenager.

At 17 years old, I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis, at the beginning of my college Volleyball career!! This was truely devastating to me & I used food for comfort as I trained for the volleyball team, so I gained about 30#. In college, I had an abusive boyfriend & I had periodic issues relating to the M.S., blindness in one eye, numbness in most of my body, limping, double vision, clumsiness, etc.

I still found a way to continue personal training. My Dr. regularly recommended medications to improve my future outlook. I felt in my ‘gut’ that medications were not right for ME. At work, I saw Cathe on Fit TV & got very excited to try her workouts. I started with weight lifting DVD’s, Push Pull, Muscle Endurance & Super S ets. In the first three months, I went from size 10 to size 6!! I no longer experience frequent numbness, double vision, limping, etc.

After 24 years of fear & visions of wheelchairs in my future, I no longer worry about the disease controlling me, I found a REAL way to help my body work the best it can! I learned that we can accept what a Dr. says, or we can do what we can to fight it!!

I firmly believe that Cathe, with her knowledge , amazing creativity & enjoyable while incredibly challenging workouts, has helped me to gain control over this scarey diagnosis. I thank Cathe from the bottom of my heart & I look forward to working out with Cathe for years to come!!

I am now wearing size 4, this is after having a baby 6 months ago at age 41!!!!!! I’m in the best shape of my life:-)
