    Anyway, I hope Cathe comes out with more videos with guys in them. Not only because they’re pleasing to the eye 😉 but because it is actually very motivating to exercise to workouts that are even challenging for guys. Also, I am very excited about the Barre workout. I was just going to order another DVD for ballet for proper posture and form, and low and behold, Cathe has one!!!! How cool is that???   • I am very interested in the high intensity low impact option. A few questions before I leap in:

    Gear:
    I’ve just got rid of a skips-worth of junk and so am a bit wary of filling my house up again.

    Please clarify the gear needed that is needed for this package. starting with:

    weighted trisets workout: what do I need: or is this just a term to describe a series of three different exercise sets (using dumbells or not?)

    slide ande glide: the mat described at the end of the blurb: what does the mat look like? is it like those used in those slide rebok classes that used to be held about a decade ago? or is it just a yoga mat?

    cycle: will any staionary bike work? or a real bike using an ipod and a country road, or is a real spin bike needed.

    the chair as barre-substitute is welcome!

    lastly, are you able yo provide indicative times for each of the DVDs in the package (this has been done for only a few)

    ditto post earlier including one of two guys in the vids- helps me pursuade my kids (boys) to join in . but please make sure they are regular guys not too beefcakey. I also like to see the inclusion of all body shapes in your dvds too,

  • Cathe…..I’ve been doing your workouts for 15 years now. I have always loved the high impact, but now that I’m getting older, my body is not liking this. Just before you made the announcement of these video’s I was wishing for a lower impact series & now my wish has come true. I’m so excited about this series.   • Cathe….I have now been working out with you at the comfort of my flat for five years now. I am excited for this low impact/joint friendly serie coming. i have not got any joint problem so far but i am looking forward to swapping for low impact twice per week. I would like to suggest a mix/match or premixes on each muscle group Back, shoulders,Biceps, Triceps, legs….Some of us, including me, have to work certain stubborn muscle group harder. It would be easier to pick straight instead of forward through an upper body premix. It would be great to have it for The triset DVD coming…Thanks you again for changing my life, keep up the hard work!!!

  • How about a combo selection for people that don’t want to or CAN’t do it all? I have back issues and don’t do yoga, bike – I have 3 or 4 I would love to have as a combo, but don’t want to buy all individually.

  • You will be able to buy the individual DVDs for $22.97 each once the Low Impact Series is released. With any 10 pack there will always be some videos that you love and use often and others that you hardly or never use. Our Pre-Sale offers a savings of well over 50% plus you get Free SNG discs, so it may be worth your while to take advantage of the Pre-Sale. But if your still on the fence it’s best to just wait until the new DVDs are released.

  • I have been working out for 25 years now. I turn 50 this year and I have been looking for more joint friendly workouts but, with intensity. I was in a bad motorcycle accident in 2009 I injured both of my feet and now have arthritis but, it has not stopped me from working out I just modify the exercises. Your new workout series is just what I have been looking for. I am looking forward to working out with you every morning.

    If you look at the S&G Discs you will see that there is a black covering on them. That will protect your floors while giving you that “slide factor”. For people like me that will do the workouts on carpeted floors, take the black thingy off and we’ll get the “slide factor” as well.

  • Just from the previews, I can see that Cathe really out did herself on this one. Doing a burpe-esque type move with the S&G Discs, is genius. I never even considered that.

    The moves in the preview clearly indicate that Cathe put a great deal of thought and planning into these workouts to make them high intensity but low impact, yet fun. I have Low Impact Step but I don’t do it very often. It’s effective, especially the blasts, but I get pre-workout dread and then the boredom factor kicks in during the workout.

    The description of the new workouts and the video teaser make me confident that I can give my knees a break and still get the fun, butt kicking sweat fest that Cathe is known for. She’s always ahead of the pack when it comes to her workouts. That’s what’s kept me buying and doing her workouts consistently over the past 15+ years.

    These new workouts, while joint friendly, seem to be sequenced and choreographed in a manner that is going to take me to a new level of “sore” (or soreness for you grammarians out there). I’m looking forward to it.

  • Cycle Max Question for Cathe – I’m new to cycling and am wondering what kinds of features are necessary for a good spin bike? For example, I’m looking into the Proform Tour De France (for my husband) or the Proform Upright Spin bike. Any guidence would be much appreciated!

  • Will all the dvd’s have pre-mixes? I really love the pre-mixes so I can use various workout times depending on how much time I have from day to day.
