This picture was taken from one of three edit rooms that we’ve been using to edit the new workouts at NFL Films. We especially love the giant theater screen which shows all the different footage from each camera at the same time. This is where we spend most of our days now and we are very happy to report that we finished the video editing portion for all 4 workouts late today.NFL Films edit studios are among the best in the world and it has been a real pleasure working with them on the new workouts and having access to the latest and best studio equipment. Now that video editing is done we move into the next phase called “audio sweetening” In this phase every frame of the video will have its audio digitally corrected by special software and an audio specialist. This is a process very few companies making fitness videos undertake because of the expense, but we now do on all of our DVDs. We’re really looking forward to this next phase as NFL Films audio edit room is legendary and its technicians are among the very best.
We’re also starting to work on the graphics for the new DVDs including the opening, DVD menus and all of the credits you will see. We spend a lot of time working on details like this as we feel they are important for the overall look and professionalism of our products.
Finally, tomorrow will be our first day of working on the authoring of the DVDs. Authoring is the last and final step we need to do before we can send our product off to the DVD replicator. During tomorrows session we will choose all of the chapter points that will be needed to author the DVD and construct the premixes.
With NFL’s large staff and state of the art equipment things are moving much faster than normal with an increase in quality. Please keep checking back to our Blog for further updates
