We’re getting ready to start taking deposits and registrations for our next two scheduled road trips:
Disney World – July 1 – 4th, 2011
Glassboro – July 29 – 31st, 2011
We will provide further sign up details shortly. A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your position and space is limited for each event, so use this time now to make sure that you’re positive about attending before signing up. We’re also looking at having a third road trip in Chicago. One place that we’re currently considering is the Hilton Indian River Resort and would like some feedback in our forums about this resort from any of you that have stayed there.

I just did an overnight at Indian Lakes this past December with my DH. We had dinner at the restaurant and I had a pedicure and massage. The facility itself has some interesting architectural components which we thought was cool. It was designed by a master student of Frank Lloyd Wright. The food was very good. Service was outstanding. My pedicure still looks great after a month. I hope you go there! It is 15 minutes from my home!!!

I’ve never been on a road trip? Approximately how much is it? Does it incude room and meals? What if I have a 4 year old daughter? How much is she? How long are the classes? Is there child care if I travel with no other adult? Is the Disney ticket discounted as part of the trip? Help? How will I know if I definitely want to sign up when there is practically no information?

I forgot to mention that I have not stayed at the Hilton Indian River Resort. It looks beautiful, but it is not really located in the city of Chicago. It might be more fun to stay at one of the beautiful hotels downtown Chicago as they would be in walking distance to Navy Pier, the trails on the lakefront, great shopping, museums, entertainment, etc. I also know that there is a great biking tour of Chicago that my family has done when visiting (I haven’t done it personally). I think it is called Bobby’s Bike Hike and it is often featured on specials about Chicago.
