I was a cheerleader from junior high- college, which kept me in the best shape I could have imagined. So, when I got out of college & started working a full-time office job where I had to sit all day, it was hard to stay in the same shape as I was when I cheered. However, I have stayed dedicated to maintaining as well as improving my physique. I am now about to be 27 years old & work out using Cathe DVDs 4 days a week & eat a very healthy diet.
My favorite Cathe workouts to do at home are “Muscle Endurance“, “Kick Punch Crunch“, “Bootcamp“, & “Stretch Max“. I also follow along on FitTV when they have workouts that aren’t in my collection that I would rather do that day. I have done “Upper & Lower Pyramid“, “Hi-Lo”, & “Core Max” (that is the next one I’m going to need to add to my collection). I love how the DVDs have pre-mixes & so many other options to customize your workouts. I have 4 Cathe DVDs, but it turns out to be a lot more workouts than that with all the mixing & matching.
What originally drew me to Cathe’s workouts is that she has the body type of a cheerleader & thought that maybe she used to be one. I thought- who better to lead me in my post-cheerleading day workouts than someone who looks like she could be one?! Another thing about the Cather workouts is that they are challenging enough for someone who is already in pretty good shape. That is hard to find with most workout DVDs. I feel that the aveerage workout is geared towards people that are trying to get in shape, but Cathe’s are for getting in better shape when you’re already in shape. My one major vice is that I have a vanilla latte from Starbuck’s every morning to get me through the day. Thank you for all your great workouts, Cathe!
You look great. Keep it up and you will be able to age gracefully. I wish I had started using Cathe when I was your age instead of the age I started. I started when I was 45…now I am 54 and I pat myself on the back whenever I can keep up with Cathe. I agree, Cathe’s workouts are a challenge for those who are already fit, as well as those who are not. It is nice to have a story from someone your age. Keep it up. You should try some of her most recent cardio workouts in her new workout series shock cardio. They are fun!
